It has been very easy to give myself the shot once a week, and I barely even feel it. I have dropped to 185 lbs, with a 32-inch waist. Started with 0.5 mg and now on 1.7 mg. I have no side effects except for some heartburn. From day one, my appetite has slowly gone down. I eat less than 1500 calories a day and exercise daily at the gym for 45 minutes. Wegovy is absolutely wonderful and has changed my life forever. Also, my A1C was always over 6.0, and now it's 5.3, still going down. I will stay on Wegovy for the rest of my life. This has been a life changer for me!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started on 5/23/23. I’m a 47-year-old female, and my starting weight was 193. I am down 21 lbs with no diet or exercise change as of 8/23/23. The first month, I had nausea and significant heartburn, but pushed through it. After I moved to 1 mg, I stopped having the heartburn. I think my body just adjusted. I plan on moving up to the 2.4 mg in two weeks. So happy to be on this medication!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on Wegovy now for 4 months and have lost 26 pounds. I am currently on the 1.7 mg, and I have had no nasty side effects. I have had more heartburn than I used to, and occasional stomach upset, but nothing that would make me stop taking the meds. It has been a slow loss, but it is a loss, and I am very happy. I would love to lose 75-100 pounds, and hopefully this will continue to work, and I will meet my goal. My start weight was 250 lbs, I am now at 224 lbs. My glucose levels have decreased, and my A1C has also lowered. I have not been adding exercise, I feel if I started walking, the weight would come off faster. My overall experience has been very satisfactory."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on Wegovy since January 15, 2022. I have lost almost 40 lbs. When I first started, it was the usual nausea and heartburn that could always be fixed with a Pepcid AC. I have noticed now that I am past the 1.0 mg, I have been getting dizzy when I stand up, like I am about to pass out, and having a reoccurring brain/vision fogginess off and on. About 9 months in, I started to have tingling/numbness in my foot, face, and hand. Have any long-term users experienced this? I am going to get off it and see if it clears up."

Blood pressure meds cut in half, discontinued Lasix and potassium pills. Currently taking 2.4 mg/weekly. My side effects have been relatively non-existent.
