Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Don’t let the product run out/touch your vulva is the key! I have a very mixed review actually. The first time I used it, I felt an unbearable amount of burning and itching most gals are describing. So bad, I literally showered and washed until it all came out. Stubborn me, the next night I decided to give it another shot since I came across someone (genius in my book lol) who said it won’t burn/itch as long as it doesn’t touch the vulva or outside of the vagina. This is so true! I inserted the cream, laid right down with my knees bent up so the product flowed down into my v, not out. Do not walk around or pee! Vagina life saver folks."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I wasn’t sure if I had a yeast infection or BV. So I treated my YI with a generic brand, twice, and it didn’t work. Then I took antibiotics I had reserved for my recurring BV. Didn’t work. Two weeks later, my vagina is angry as hell, and I’m wondering if some dormant disease has surfaced and come to haunt me, thinking the worst... Ran ablaze to the store to get Monistat 1, inserted it in the Walmart bathroom, and OMG, blazing saddles for three hours!!! However... as I’m reading these posts, a warm, comforting feeling is finally settling in, and after two weeks of mental and womanly torture, I feel like maybe I can live again. After this, I promise to never complain about anything, ever. I just hope to wake in the morning feeling normal again, and if I do, the burning is sooo worth it and I will forever thank Monistat for ripping off the bandaid. Or... burning the bush, however you’d like to put it. Hold onto your hats, ladies!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Are you kidding me with the burning?! My YI was nearly gone with the Diflucan pill, but I decided to back it up with Monistat 3. Within 10 minutes, my peaceful vagina erupted into unbearable flames and itching like I've never experienced. Can't sleep. Rushed to the bathtub for an emergency douche under the faucet, trying to purge this Satan's brew from my agonized lady purse. If you enjoy mind-bending burning and itching, shove this poison into your body. If not, stay away! As I write this, my pussy is spread before a fan, and I'm thinking only the Lord can help me now."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I've never had a yeast infection before, but I went on antibiotics for kidney stones (side note, worst experience of my life), and for the first time ever, it severely messed up my downstairs. I keep a very clean house, my door is locked at all times, the Chamber of Secrets stays closed, so when stuff hits the fan, it gets ugly. After several days of burning, itching, pain, I finally followed my mother's advice to get the 3-day Monistat syringes. I had used Vagisil previously, and even that burned, but it went away eventually. So when this started burning and itching after I used it, it was almost expected. I thought, oh okay, it'll go away. Nope. Nope. Nope. NOPE. My downstairs has become deeper downstairs. It is the worst. It is a lava pit. It is the depths of the hottest lava pit in existence. But with a colony of fire ants living in it. I don't even care if this works to fix my yeast infection, there's not a chance that I'm using this ever again."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "After reading the label, I found that it says the burning and itching will increase even more so than what you have already been experiencing. This product is VERY strong, and I’ve found the worse your YI is, or the more prolonged amount of time it took you to treat it, the worse the side effects will be. I tried to tough it out for about 45 minutes before I couldn’t stand the pain anymore and rinsed as much as I could out. Within another 45 minutes, I was starting to feel a little better. It was awful. I’m on day 2, this time I’m in the same position, laying on my back, legs up, but instead of inserting the full amount at once, I’m slowly releasing the product in a little at a time. Like I’m talking a slight push on the syringe every 5 minutes or so. It seems to be helping, still a little irritating, but NOTHING compared to day 1. Good luck, ladies."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "What are these people trying to do to us? I haven’t had a YI in a long time, but I know that I never experienced the burn like I have with the 3-day! I feel like I have a very high pain tolerance, but this was like someone was playing a sick joke on me! I’ve never burned so badly in my life! I thought it was just me until I came across this site! PLEASE DON'T USE THIS! We’re all here to warn you!"

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I used Monistat in the past for yeast infections, and its consistency was thicker, and it was an immediate cooling sensation and relief from the YI. Now, using it today, an immediate burning sensation, it’s the worst feeling I’ve ever experienced. I had to wash it out best I could, crying the whole time. I really think they changed the ingredients and made it a different cream, and it burns now."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Absolutely not. Why I decided to take this vagina flame torch on a date night with my bf is beyond me. I’m downstairs at 2 am, legs spread eagle with ice on my wooha. Will this burning ever stop? Who knows. Can’t sleep, hate it very much."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have never written a review in my life! I bet whoever is reading this is in the same position we are all put in, looking to see if the fire-burning sensation in your vagina after using this is normal. Girl, join the club. I’ve had yeast infections before, I usually popped an Azo Yeast Plus, and that would relieve the symptoms, but this time I wanted to try something new. Immediately after inserting, I instantly regretted it. I was squirming and flinching as I felt shocks run up my vagina. After an hour of insane burning, itching, and tears, it’s safe to say my vagina hates me!!! Nothing helps! Not ice, not a shower, not a compress! The only thing that helps is reading all these reviews, knowing I’m not alone. Who invented this product? Can I sue? I want to throw my whole vagina away >:("

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "If you’re reading this, you’re probably in a burning nightmare. A minute after my application, it started burning up my delicate box, and I laid with my legs in the air, screaming and wanting to scrape it all out. Honestly, reading everyone else's experience is getting me through this."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "100% recommend! I was so itchy I wanted to scratch my vajayjay with a Brillo pad, it was horrible! Night 1: no burning or extra itch in sight. I have to say the stuff does leak out (expected), so wear a pantyliner. Night 2: feeling so much better than yesterday! Minimal itching compared to days before. Night 3: feeling like myself and so happy my friend got me this! Just a little irritated from scratching a few days before, but itching is pretty much gone! Yeeees!"

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Currently 8 months pregnant and have had mild YI symptoms for about 2 weeks at first. Then came the itching with swollen bits and the burn from itching. Around the time they first started, I told my doctor, and she recommended this. I was hesitant and thought maybe it would go away on its own, but it didn't. Now, I've taken Monistat 3 before I was pregnant and do NOT remember it being this bad. I just used my first dose of the 7-day treatment and my hootenanny is on 10!!!! The burning and itching are worse than it was before I took it!! I'm currently laying here, spread-eagle with a pillow under my butt. This is horrible. I'm not sure I can last 7 days using this."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I am in a literal living nightmare. I caught a yeast infection from sex with a lover, and I am laying in bed cursing both the day he was born and Monistat. This is an awful cream. My lady bits itch like I made love to poison ivy while simultaneously burning like a wildfire. I gave birth without drugs, and I would do it again before using this cream. So mad at my lover and Monistat 7."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Ok, so I totally get what everyone is saying. Day 1 was THE WORST. After I applied it, I laid in bed almost crying because it was so uncomfortable. It was like a tingly, burning itch deep inside that I could not get to. My boyfriend thought I was dying, and I ended up in the shower rinsing it off. After talking to some coworkers who get them all the time, she said my vaginal area was probably so raw. I am currently sitting here on day 2. So much better! Just some mild itching! I promise it gets better! Stick with it, girls!"

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "DO NOT BUY!!! I’ve used this product for YEARS with much success - until last night! I had a mild YI (slight itch at night, thick white discharge, discomfort after peeing). I’ve obviously had a few YIs before, so I knew this was the start. I figured I would just buy the 1-day treatment and clear it up easy peasy. WRONG. They must have changed their formula because what I felt inside and out of my vagina was like fire. I inserted the cream about 11:30 last night, and less than a minute later, I felt what could have been someone dumping acid in my vagina. I’m talking the heat of flames. I used a towel to wipe excess off and ended up just counting numbers in my head to take my mind off the pain and eventually fell asleep. Thank God. This morning, I wake up, and while I’m not itching or have discomfort when I pee, the top outside of my vulva is ON FIRE!!! So here I am, writing a review as I have a cold water bottle and a fan blowing on my lady bits."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I'm 25 weeks pregnant, and this is my 3rd time using Monistat, and it ALWAYS burns the first time you use it, so don't be alarmed, it's completely normal. That's actually a good sign that it's working, and before you know it, you'll be feeling much better, so just try to get through the burning stage because this stuff WORKS!"

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "My sister recommended this from one of her friends who swears by it that it's amazing. Had the YI for a week and a half not realizing what it was, and was ready for relief. Bought it, and I applied it before bed. I laid in bed waiting for sleep to hit me, and all of a sudden my crotch was on FIRE. It lasted for about an hour. I wanted to wash it off so bad, but I told myself to suck it up. Burning means it's working. Right? It was gone by the next day. I was amazed at how quickly it went away. I continued the last two treatments, and it burned less than the first time. My first time using this product, and I will be buying again. It really does work."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "If anyone is wondering how long it will take before symptoms start to improve, it took me 2.5 days before I experienced any improvement at all, and the itchiness started to subside. I'd used it twice (2 doses), and the itch got somewhat better about 4-5 hours before my 3rd dose of cream. The directions say to contact a doctor if you have no improvement after 3 days, so don't panic if you are well into 2 days and haven't improved. Also, I did experience some increased itching and burning that was uncomfortable on the first night (but not horrible), and it improves each night. I just inserted my 3rd dose, and the side effects tonight have not been bad at all. I did notice that Monistat makes an ointment treatment for sensitive skin that has a different active ingredient, so if you are very raw and irritated from your infection, you may want to consider looking for that. It seems that the more irritated and raw you are, the more the treatment will itch and burn."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is so messed up. Friday evening after a long work week, and now my vagina is ON FIRE. Just like one of the reviews said, I’m spread eagle using my handheld fan we used as giveaways for our wedding to calm down the BURNING and ITCHING. My YI wasn’t close to this bad. I hope this first application calms my YI down, 'cause I can’t bear six more days!! I will say reading these reviews helped distract me, and I don’t feel so alone on this crazy ride we women endure!"

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Get what you pay for, I guess. Chose this as it was the cheaper alternative, and I was concerned the no-name brand wouldn’t work. Severely regret it! As everyone’s said, unbelievable burning that I’ve never experienced when using Canesten, another yeast infection medication. I turned to Google to check if this is normal. Clearly, this medication is the problem!!! I can’t believe this is on shelves."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I tried the 1-day Monistat, and my vagina feels like my vagina is a burning ring of fire. I woke up in so much pain. For anyone reading this and experiencing the same thing, I showered to try to get as much out as I could, and then kept a washcloth with cold water on it for a while to soothe the burning. Then I applied some coconut oil, and after about an hour of agonizing pain, I’m left with only a mild burning sensation. Good luck, ladies :(."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I've had YI in the past, and they would go away either by pill or just because. This time I was fed up, so I bought the Monistat 7 day pack, and BOY OH BOY. Less than a minute of inserting that thing, it started to BURN. I'm saying like putting hot bacon grease on your kitty type burn. Sitting in a bath full of hot sauce type burn. Dropping the curling iron on your kitty type burn. And it's gonna burn for a good 30 minutes. I really wanted to scratch, but I couldn't. I'm telling you, this thing is on FIRE. So it better work in the morning. And this YI better be gone after these 7 days because I can't do this no more."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Don’t let the other comments scare you! I thought I had a yeast infection but waited about two days to be sure, meaning it developed to be pretty bad. I was concerned that it would burn (most people on here said it did... BAD) but the first night I had no burning. The itch increased slightly, but it was very bearable. The next day after night one, it was slightly itchier but definitely worth it. I am on day two, and all symptoms are almost completely gone!!! Will continue for the total time just in case, but definitely would recommend."
