For High Blood Pressure "I was prescribed this when I had an hours-long AFib episode and went to the ER. No meds prior to this. Cardiologist ended up prescribing this (25 mg once a day) with Pradaxa. The metoprolol has kept my blood pressure down and AFib episodes are relatively rare now and only short-lasting. So, no complaints so far. I feel much better than I did, although I get tired in the late afternoon. But, this might be due to always having trouble sleeping."
