For Constipation, Drug Induced "It works! But, and there is a but, the side effects can be pretty intense. Mostly the abdominal cramps and slight headache. It did not work with my first dose but did with my second, approximately two hours after injection. For me, it's definitely worth it because for the first time in months, I went #2 all by myself (meaning no enemas, no suppository!). Amazing, I do stress that if you do use it, make sure you have time to rest and wait. The cramps will stop, you'll have a lot of gas, and then you'll go potty like a normal person."

For Constipation, Drug Induced "I just used Relistor for the first time. I have chronic abdominal pain that provides the wonderful need for strong narcotics. They are terrible on my system and possibly from the constipation or maybe a result of the many, many surgeries I have been through. I have very painful bowel movements. It's like I can feel the stool winding through my bowels, and it feels like sharp rocks! After the injection, I had almost instant cramps and only a moderate amount of gas. I felt the 'winding rocks' moving with a vengeance. That's why I'm not giving this a 10, because of the cramps (which could possibly be issues with my system). Like another reviewer said, I had a massive movement 30 mins later. NICE!"

For Opioid-Induced Constipation "I have been experiencing OIC and have been using every OTC and natural remedy available. The issue has been ongoing for several months. I took my first Relistor injection 5 hours ago without success. I added some suppositories, magnesium citrate, and a Fleet enema and expelled some gas and a few pellets of poop. Why have I not experienced a bowel motion, and what can I expect with another injection tomorrow? This problem is totally incapacitating."

For Opioid-Induced Constipation "I have been on Oxycodone for over 3 years to treat severe pain. Up until a month ago, my go-to OIC relief was Dulcolax liquid, which sometimes worked and sometimes did not work with a single dose. However, about 2 months ago, my pain management doctor introduced me to Relistor. The results have been amazing! I usually get relief in 15-30 minutes. The worst result I have experienced was about 2 hours before a bowel movement. And, when I say bowel, I mean EVERYTHING flushes out! So far, the only negative side effect for me has been flatulence."

For Opioid-Induced Constipation "It actually works! Look, I’ve been on opioids for nearly 13 years due to an accident involving 2 semi trucks. The OIC caused by the opioids is a real issue and can be fatal if not properly addressed. Relistor has made it possible for me to manage it and take more regular BM. The first time I had the shot in my stomach and within 20 minutes, I had bad cramps and gas. I barely made it home and side skirted to the toilet! I pooped weeks of the most awful crap. I could feel it breaking down in my intestines and moving through me. And I went until I had liquid coming out. It completely flushed me. It’s very dangerous for our systems to back up with feces. Don’t allow this to happen. While taking opioids, as this drug is only meant for this, keep regular doses going. Follow directions! Must be 30 mins before a meal. Or it won’t work immediately. Instead, you’ll find yourself waking in the middle of the night on the toilet several times. You won’t go just once. My experience, I go a few times."

For Constipation, Drug Induced "So the first dose didn't do a single thing but make me have gas so bad my back was killing me! Just did my second dose, so I am hoping and praying this works! I'm on the fence about this product."
