Metaxalone for Muscle Spasm "Makes my back pain tolerable, and helps me stay active. Doesn't always control the pain, but helps quite a bit most of the time. I am using it with ibuprofen."

Metaxalone for Fibromyalgia "I take Metaxalone when I feel the pain coming on. For at least three days, then I stop because I have to still take aspirin for other conditions. It alleviates some of the pain."

Metaxalone for Muscle Spasm "I had a back spasm. The pain went on for almost two weeks. I got a prescription for Skelaxin. It did nothing for me. Taking 800 mg of ibuprofen did a better job."

Metaxalone for Muscle Spasm "Have taken only for two days, but seems to have helped. Have an L4 L5 problem, and after a recent flare-up, this was prescribed. Seems to have helped to speed recovery."

Metaxalone for Fibromyalgia "I have fibromyalgia and was prescribed this to help with the pain. It didn't work well at all. Carisoprodol is a much better muscle relaxant. I also take Tylenol with Codeine #3, which also helps."
