Isosorbide mononitrate for Angina "Went to the ER last Sunday for chest pain/angina attack, couldn't walk up the stairs without feeling like I was having a heart attack, so the new cardiologist put me on Imdur 30 mg. The first day I was fine, the second day about 3 to 5 hours after taking it I came down with an ungodly migraine. I have been on it now for 6 days, and 5 of them I have had a migraine - not cool. But I have to admit that I'd rather have the headache because it has been heavenly being able to walk around with zero heart attack-like pain."

"I took this after a heart stent. I experienced swelling in my legs, and dry, itchy skin, hot, tingly skin, swelling in my face and throat, migraines, dizziness, nausea, dilated veins so much they appeared purple. Dosage 30 mg. Supposed to take it in the morning, but it made me so sick I took it at night."

"I took the first Imdur in early morning, within 2 hours, I had a horrible headache, neck pain, and shoulder pain. 60 mg dose. After 18 hrs, I still have severe neck pain and a horrible migraine. I haven’t slept and feel anxious."

For Angina "I had a terrible experience on this drug. It was supposed to control my chest pain but instead worsened my pain. I also had migraines. In spite of these adverse reactions, my doctor wants me to try it again. No thank you."
