For Birth Control "I began taking this after switching from Nurx, which was sending me Sprintec, to The Pill Club, which started sending me Estarylla, saying it was equivalent to Sprintec. I have personally never had any issues with Sprintec, but Estarylla slowly started making me really depressed and overly emotional, angry, and completely drained me of my sex drive. It didn't start happening until months later of taking it, so I didn't realize right away that it was the pill. I definitely do not recommend this brand."

For Birth Control "I’ve just reached the one-week mark taking this. This is the only birth control I’ve ever tried, but I want to constantly scream and cry and yell. I was kind of depressed, I guess you could say, before taking this, but it has been INSANELY worse since about the 4th pill. Horrible mood constantly. I feel so foggy and fatigued. It’s very hard to sleep and stay sleeping, I probably sleep for no more than 30-45 mins at a time without waking up. I also can't fall asleep until like 4 a.m. This occasionally happened before the pill, but I was so surprised when this started happening out of nowhere. I didn’t think it was the birth control until I read that it affected hundreds of other women, it was happening to them too. I’ve also noticed my breasts are very, very sensitive and growing already, and I'm extremely bloated, only a week and some pants are tighter now. I literally never bloat, if I do, it’s so minor I can hardly tell, so I know it’s this pill. I don’t recommend it."

For Birth Control "Well, this did what it was supposed to do until it didn't. Started in June of last year, and I never had any bad side effects except maybe mood swings. It helped regulate my period to where I got it at almost the same time every month, and my period wasn't as bad as it used to be. I took this pill every day (if I ever missed it, it was only once, not multiple times in a row, and I didn't miss it frequently. I probably only missed a pill three times from June last year to this March), and I also took it at the same time, and I still got pregnant on it."

For Birth Control "When I first started taking this birth control, I was more emotional than normal. The more I've been on it, I feel it has gone away. I used to have really bad cramps for the first few days of my period, and now there are little to no cramps. My periods are normally a week long, and it's helped shorten it and not as heavy either. Weight gain - I honestly haven't gained any weight. I work out 3+ times a week, so that must help me with it, and diet is important too. Sometimes I get mood swings (I'm kinda moody anyways sometimes)."

For Birth Control "I thought I was crazy, and I believed the assurance that Estarylla was like my go-to Mononessa, and it's so wrong. Thank you all for the reviews that make me know it's not just me! Spotting weeks 2-3, acne, cramps/clotting horribly when on period, terrible mood swings, painful breasts for weeks. No more! Yeah, I'm not pregnant, it's doing its job, but for all the insane issues over the last 3 months, I may as well be. I feel like a crazy person."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I was originally on Femynor, and everything was well. Then my doctor prescribed me the generic version of it, Estarylla. Estarylla gave me lots of anxiety, mood swings, breast tenderness, upset stomachs daily, and it did nothing to shorten my periods or stop the flow from being so heavy. I decided to finally stop taking it once I began to bleed nonstop every day for three weeks. I consulted a gyno about it, and they swapped me to Loryna. I hope my period stops being such a nightmare."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I was prescribed this only for hormones. I had a tubal ligation, so the actual birth control was not an issue. After I was in my 4th month, symptoms became evident that this was not the pill for me. I was nauseous every morning, no sex drive to the point my husband considered the possibility of an affair (which totally was the opposite), night sweats, dryness, major mood instability with a lot of irritation (I was annoyed super easily), constant crazy urinating, felt dehydrated, my insulin levels high, strange/longer periods, and 30 extra pounds. My cramps, however, did go down a lot."

For Birth Control "I was so nauseous at first, then it went to extreme mood swings and severe anger problems and extremely depressed. The nausea subsided. I have been bleeding for a max total of a month while on this, and it feels like it’s just horrible."

For Birth Control "I've been on birth control for the last, like, 15 years. I just switched to Estarylla about 5 or 6 months ago. Never have I ever experienced side effects like I have on this one. I've gained so much weight, and my hair is falling out. I'm so depressed and angry all the time. My mood swings are ridiculous. My anxiety is so bad. I've never had an anxiety attack in my life until I switched to this birth control. I literally thought I was going crazy. But come to find out, it is my birth control."

For Birth Control "Originally, I was on Mononessa for a year. I never really noticed any problems. I've always had acne and mood swings, but I noticed a huge difference when Walgreens couldn't get this type of birth control anymore. They switched me to another kind of generic for Mononessa (not sure of the name), but still no big issue there. The next month, they switched me to Estarylla, and that's when I noticed extreme nausea at the same time every day, definite mood swings, lack of sex drive. Although my face has never been this clear, I still don't think it's worth it. They say that generics are all the same medications, but it's simply not true! I would've remembered feeling this nauseous!"

For Birth Control "I know everybody is different, but for me, this was an awful birth control. I was on Sprintec for two years until my pharmacy switched me to this, saying that it was the same pill, just a different name. That is completely wrong. I felt completely fine on Sprintec, I had hardly any side effects whatsoever. After one month on Estarylla, I developed depression and severe mood swings. I'd lash out at people for the smallest things and then feel completely awful about it once I calmed down. I’ve never had acne, but this made me break out so badly and gain so much weight despite being nauseous and having hardly any appetite. I will not be taking this one ever again and will demand to be switched back to Sprintec immediately."

For Ovarian Cysts "I have been taking this birth control for 5 years now, and I have more energy. My periods are heavy, and I do have some mood swings around the time of my period, but that’s normal for me. I’ve taken other birth control, and so far this one has been the best."

For Acne "I’m going to go on a rant. This is terrible. Never have liked this at all. I had clear and perfect skin before taking this, and now my skin is breaking out like never before. Also, mood swings and emotions are out of control. I feel like I’ve also experienced a little bit of weight gain because my appetite increased with this stuff, so that’s also something to be wary of. I’m switching after this. Avoid this birth control if you can."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on this birth control for a year now and I’m considering stopping taking birth control altogether! Really, I got on this because I didn’t want to get pregnant and I had talked to my doctor about my acne. It has helped my acne for the most part, and I haven’t gotten pregnant. But I have noticed that I don’t feel like myself anymore, I have terrible mood swings, feel depressed at times, and I just don’t have any motivation to do anything anymore. I have lost weight due to decreased appetite, which is not a good thing for me. I have experienced stomach problems taking this as well, such as nausea, and my stomach will be bloated at random times."

For Birth Control "I was on this birth control to actually get pregnant because my periods are so irregular. I've literally gone 9 months without a period, so as you can see, no periods, no babies. This birth control is horrible. I've only been on it for 3 weeks now. I've had terrible mood swings, acne breakouts, terrible cramping to the point of going to the hospital thinking something was wrong with me. I felt very nauseous and lightheaded and had bad headaches. By the 3rd week, I had clumps of hair coming out in the shower. I've never had any of these issues before. The only good I can give this is the fact that it made my period light and actually come on time."

For Birth Control "It's not bad. When I take it, I get so sleepy, and I take it in the morning, so that could suck when I'm in school. I've gained some weight, and I'm more emotional than I've ever been, but other than that, I'm still not pregnant, it's been a month and a week."

"Estarylla is awful. The 4th day, I was having intense mood swings, crying, depression, and really dark thoughts about life. Never again."

For Birth Control "Been taking this for about 4 months and have bled every day since I started taking it. Crazy mood swings, decreased sex drive. Cannot stress enough how much this birth control sucks."

For Birth Control "I've been using birth control pills for over 10 years, and this one has been the best for me. Other ones cause me to have spotting, mood swings, etc. I haven't had any side effects with this one. My period is lighter, regulated, no spotting, no mood swings, no headaches, no acne. I do feel bloated, but that can be due to my poor diet. Everybody's different and may react poorly to it, but it's worth a shot. You never know until you try it. I was worried because of all the reviews, but it turned out great for me."
