Dupilumab "I have suffered from dermatitis since birth and tried everything known to man to treat it. A few months ago, this drug became affordable in Australia. I started a few weeks ago after waiting a few months to see my specialist. I have slept for 8+ hours 3 nights in a row, which I have not done since I can remember. My skin does not feel like I am a crocodile and is 50+% better already. I have been able to move my neck without pain and pick stuff up from the ground. I have even done some star jumps to celebrate with minimal pain. No side effects as yet, so fingers crossed my life has changed. THANK YOU, DUPIXENT!!"

Dupilumab "Oh, sweet Dupixent! Where have you been all these years of my life? I have been diagnosed with so many things over those 24 years. I have suffered many years without relief. Nothing cured it. I have tried everything prescription and OTC. It is too many to list. I thought I was going to have to live with this the rest of my life. And I had given up. Even worse, I suffer from chronic itching. When I started the Dupixent injections, my skin was at its worst. I just had my 4th injection. But my skin was healed 5 weeks in!!! (insert cry face here) The itch is 100% gone. The last breakout is completely healed and I haven’t had one since. This has changed my life! I wish more people knew about this!"

Dupilumab "Dupixent is the miracle I have always hoped for. I’ve had moderate-severe eczema (atopic dermatitis) since infancy with almost every area of skin affected. I have spent my entire life (34 years) on various topical steroids or topical calcium inhibitors, without success. I have been on Dupixent for approximately 12 months now. For the first time in my life, I have nearly full relief from itchiness & my skin is approximately 85% cleared up. The only areas that have not cleared up are seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp, eyebrows, & eyelids. All my other body areas have healed. I will note that my eyelid eczema is no worse than it was prior to Dupixent, nor am I experiencing other negative side effects involving the eyes. Before this medicine, the sensation of itchiness was relentless, maddening, a constant source of anxiety & frustration. So it is no exaggeration for me to say that this newfound relief from itchiness has been a miracle. This medicine has changed my life for the better. Thank you."

Dupilumab "I have had congenital icthyosis lamellar all my life. My condition has become unmanageable the past year and a half. My doctor feels I have a strong component of atopic dermatitis. Today, I had my first injections. Thank you for this site, it gives me hope for a better tomorrow. I hope to be back with positive progress!"

"300 mg injected every two weeks. Reasonably good in suppressing severe eczema itching and rash but needs supplementing with topical steroid. Causes difficult side effect in the form of facial flush and rash for roughly three to four days a fortnight. Also causes bumps on face and neck. The pre-treatment condition was debilitating. With treatment, life is hugely better - though if the side effects get persistently worse, I would reconsider."

Dupilumab "Has a moderate effect, but still experience itch and small area flare-ups. My skin appears dry since I started this drug. I was on Rinvoq, which totally cleared my skin, but I had continual side effects, i.e., chest infections."

Dupilumab "I have dyshidrosis on both of my hands, and it's the only thing that has ever worked for me. I'm also not actively sick while taking it, and in general, there are very few side effects. I will say, injecting it hurts a lot. I have to get help with using it due to this because I wouldn't be able to hold it in otherwise. Another thing is that the liquid sometimes leaves a bump where it was injected, but it goes away, which I've noticed after losing some of my body fat. It's normal, but interesting to note."

Dupilumab "Getting the shot injected is quite painful, but 100% worth it. Usually, whenever my eczema gets extremely bad, I take the shot and all the eczema goes away COMPLETELY, leaving my skin looking perfectly normal. Definitely recommend if you have eczema :)"

Dupilumab "Major improvement in skin condition. Dermatitis (sufficiently severe to make walking difficult and painful) has been reduced to the point where almost full use has been restored, after approximately five months. No obvious side effects. Some itching still persists, but is now managed with salicylic acid ointment. Use is expected to continue indefinitely. Dupixent has, overall, been a very successful treatment."

"Started Dupixent 6/1/2017 while on cyclosporine, and my derm weaned me off the cyclosporine after 3 months (tri-tate) and went completely off cyclosporine 10/1/17. Still administering the shots twice monthly, and while my skin looks much better, my itching is still very bad, waking me up at night. I'm convinced that as I warm up during my sleep, the itching starts. I will not go back to any topical steroids since I developed a tolerance to all of them, eventually getting stronger and stronger ones until I suffered RSS and had a devil of a time with that (exfoliative dermatitis) that had me scratching so bad that my skin was oozing to the point that my kidneys almost failed. In conclusion, skin looks much better, I'm constantly bleeding."

Dupilumab "I have dealt with severe itching with sores on my head for a very long time. I started Cobatsol last year, which helped but would not stop it. I would use Cobatsol for 2 weeks and skip a week or so, and it would be right back. My doctor introduced me to Dupixent a month ago. At that time, I was given the starter dose, and within a few days, my scalp was nearly free of sores and itch. Dupixent amazed me at how quickly it worked. Finally, I have relief."

Dupilumab "I'm a 48-year-old man with severe atopic eczema since I was three months old. Started Dupixent 2 months ago. Amazing results so far. Itching is gone. Redness is gone. No places where the skin is broken now. I have been swimming in open waters and enjoying a lot. I hope the drug continues to work without side effects. So far, no side effects that I have noticed. 300 mg injection every 2 weeks. I'm so grateful."

"Been on dupilumab 300 mg biweekly for 2 years. I saw an immediate effect within 48 hours of the first 600 mg dose. It stopped the oozing on my face, which instead adopted bright red, very itchy patches. My skin overall felt like it dried out very quickly and also felt like it was being stretched. Over the course of a few weeks, the red patches died down in color somewhat but then developed on my main body more. These red patches were itchier than any eczema I've had before but never oozed, at least. 2 years later, it hasn't stopped my facial eczema from flaring up and oozing again, but the side effects remain. My main body has discolored patches, some bright red (the more recent itchy patches), some which have died down to brown (at which point they are less itchy). I get the impression that these side effects will last for months, if not years, after I stop dupilumab. My eyes feel itchier/drier more often and have gotten slightly worse since my last eye test. I will be moving to RINVOQ ASAP."

Dupilumab "DUPIXENT has been a true miracle in my life along with my dedication to my dermatologist. After flares of severe eczema and being misdiagnosed, I finally found a doctor who diagnosed my condition and prescribed DUPIXENT. From the initial doses, I had immediate improvement within days! My scratching and itching subsided, and my anxiety level improved. Before DUPIXENT, I was scratching the blood out of my legs. I couldn’t sleep, and I was in misery. Truly, I believe my dermatologist and DUPIXENT saved my life. I have been using DUPIXENT now for over two years, and my eczema has all but stopped! I am beyond grateful!"

Dupilumab "Medicine works well but the dosage pain is unreal. Terror for 10 seconds and it's over. The needle is not the problem. The amount of drug going in is the issue. But 10 seconds every other week is a small price to pay for the benefits of the drug."

Dupilumab "It works in some ways. I still flare up and have some itching. But I don’t have as much itching as I did before taking Dupixent. It was itching all the time, and before I started Dupixent, I used ice and Noxzema to calm things down. I still have to use clobetasol when it really flares. The injection is fine. Learned how to do that properly with the aid of the nurse team. As for side effects, I am dealing with fatigue, insomnia, and muscle aches. The main beef I have with Dupixent is that Medicare would not pay or even help pay for it. The only way I could receive a reasonable copay was when I got a second insurance coverage."

Dupilumab "Started on Dupixent in January 2021 for severe dermatitis. The drug was working wonderfully. My skin had never been clearer, things were going great. In July, I switched jobs and had no insurance for 60 days. I immediately called Dupixent and was told there was a program they would put me on. I called several times over the course of two months with no answers. No one could tell me where my case was in the process. Now I have insurance again and still can't get the Dupixent. Hours and hours of phone calls and can't get a straight answer. In the meantime, my skin is worse than ever. Every time I call, I get the runaround about what needs to happen next. I have done everything on my end and still no Dupixent. I have never dealt with more incompetent people. Good drug, but terrible customer service. I will be looking for a different treatment."

Dupilumab "Took Dupixent for around a year. It did clear up my skin for the most part. I had about 70 percent of my skin covered in rashes. Dupixent cleared up all of the eczema but caused psoriasis on about 10 percent of my body. The injections are ridiculously expensive and painful. Insurance stopped coverage because of the side effects."

Dupilumab "Sudden onset of atopic dermatitis that did not respond to any topical product or prednisone was then treated with Dupixent. No incidence of eczema since beginning this treatment and has quieted other skin issues associated with inflammation (contact dermatitis). I can hardly express the relief that Dupixent has provided to me. It is easy to use, even with the discomfort of an injection. I inject Dupixent every other week. I have a possible side effect of dry eyes, but I take another medication that may be causing that."

Dupilumab "My condition encompasses full body itching (excluding hands, feet, and scalp.) It has been 1 year of misery, itching till skin bleeds, then opening scabs, doctor visits, skin biopsies, blood tests, medications, ...hopelessness, all while working long hours in healthcare. Today, I am less than 2 weeks into my 1st of 2 loading doses of 2x300mg injections by a provider. I can hardly wait the 5 days before my 2nd loading dose of the same - 2x300mg injections by a provider. No negative reaction to date. Experienced a noticeable lessening of itch that 1st day. Each day the itching makes itself known. Sometimes intense. But, not as constant as it was. I have to keep my skin clean, and oiled (avocado affordable from w.m. grocery store. Creams cause sweat. Sweat brings on intense itching.) I will be injecting myself with the Dupixent pen, eventually. I fear needles. But, don't care. Because this may work. Will learn more at my next allergy office visit in 5 days. Hope this helps others, too."

Dupilumab "My problems with eczema started in 2010. It was a slow process, years later, it advanced so bad I would wake up at night with extreme itch and horrible lesions. I used ice packs at night when it decided to attack me, I would take a thin cloth, put an ice pack on my arm, and tie it on my arm. After 20 minutes, it stopped, but I can't do that every night. Dupixent came along, it was like thank heavens. I'm happy, no itch and no lesions, but it does lower the immune system. If it does that, what if a cancer cell develops? How will my body fight off with good cells? I got COVID this year and was put in the hospital. So to say this, there are pros and cons. This did help my eczema, but I still worry about the side effects later."

Dupilumab "It is a miracle drug that cured my lifelong skin problems. The only downside is that the only pharmacy that I can use is CVS Specialty. They were reliable at first, but it has gotten so unreliable that I can't count on it to be delivered on time to take it. We frequently spend days ahead of the delivery date trying to get it here on time, and it doesn't show up. I found this in a search for an alternative medication that I don't have to get from CVS. You will love the product, but hate the service. Everyone at CVS customer service has been nice. They just can't reliably deliver the product. Think AT&T customer service. The longer I deal with them, the worse it gets."

I definitely would not buy it because I couldn't make myself use it. It is awful, awful, awful. Worst commercial I have ever seen. YYYYYUUUUUKKKKKK"
