Dupixent (dupilumab) "I've now been on Dupixent for 6 months. Starting last March, I was not only getting my usual eczema, but I was also getting welts and contact dermatitis for unknown reasons. I was literally up all night itching, and showers were excruciating. I decided to go on Dupixent because topical treatments were no longer working for me. Within the first month on Dupixent, my body was basically clear and my itch had drastically decreased. However, within about 3 months, I did begin to notice some unique looking rashes on my face and around my eyes. Fast forward to 6 months later, and my eyes are indeed watery and itchy like others have mentioned, but it's not totally unbearable yet. I got in contact with my dermatologist, and he said that there is a theory that Dupixent basically uncovers an allergy to ingredients that are commonly present in cosmetics and lotions. I'm not quite ready to give up on Dupixent yet, as it's greatly improved my quality of life in other ways."

Dupixent (dupilumab) "I'm 18 years old and I have had eczema since I was a baby. I've been on many medications and when I heard about dupexant I had really high hopes for it. I have been on this medicine for 4 months now and my dermatitis has gotten worse. My face and neck are constantly burning and my eyes are swollen and red. I haven't had a good experience with this medication but it was worth a try."

Dupixent (dupilumab) "I was diagnosed about 15 years ago with prurigo nodularis. My current dermatologist labels it as atopic dermatitis. I started using Dupixent in April, after a month I saw significant results. Enough to stop using Prednisone. Though the injections are painful and leave me with an onsite reaction for almost a week with each injection, I endured it because my itching had stopped. 7 months later, I'm having spots appear and I am getting itchy again. I will speak to my my next month about stopping treatment. I also have joint pain all over my body, which may or may not be caused by dupixent."

Dupixent (dupilumab) "By their own statistics, Dupixent works less than 40% of the time, so it is no surprise that I had zero benefit. But to make things worse, their "copayment reimbursement" program is a sham. First they said they "lost" my first 3 claims and suggested I resubmit them. Then they denied them saying they were "too late" even though the original submissions had been on time. Nothing but excuses and a complete lack of professionalism."

Dupixent (dupilumab) "I am a 68 year old Vietnam veteran that has been exposed to Agent Orange and I have been plagued with atopic dermatitis for many, many years and the itching has gotten progressively worse. I was tested recently at NY CPH and found to also have a severe allergy to Ultraviolet B sunlight. I have been on dupixent for one month and the results are amazing. I wish that this medication was available 40 years ago so that I did not suffer as I have. Arms, legs, back and face are all clear and thankfully the itching is all but gone. Have experienced minor eye irritation at outset but that too has cleared up. Hope is eternal and wish that there are no long term affects from the medication. I too hope that I will not be on long term maintenance."

Dupixent (dupilumab) "After 2nd Dupixent injection, broke out in rash on legs and small patches on body. Also red blotches and skin very hot. My Skin dr took one look and never seen a reaction this bad so I discontinued Dupixent immediately. Had high hopes but Dupixent didn’t work for me….Hopefully other people will have better results , worth trying to control dermatitis.."

Dupixent (dupilumab) "I am 38 years old and have had eczema on and off most of my life. It started getting really excruciating about 3 years ago. Sores all over from scratching. Couldn't sleep. Couldn't sweat. Depressed because I didn't want to go out. The flare ups got so bad that my patients would ask me if I was ok (I'm a nurse so I have to work through the flare ups, which were constant). I was put on high doses of oral steroids, antihistamines, Even intravenous steroids and nothing helped. This drug has changed my life. I've been on it 9 months and my skin is 75 percent clearer. The itching is 90 percent better. I would not want to be without this medication. It is truly a blessing. I wish I could Thank everyone who worked on getting this drug approved!"

Dupixent (dupilumab) "I have had AD for at least 67 years of my 70 years on this earth. My life as a child was hell because of weeping medicated baths and teasing by other children. My adult life has also been equally affected by the use of corticosteroids on my skin, which is now permanently affected due to chronic steroids. When my new dermatologist brought up dupixent about six months ago I was skeptical and scared. I started March 22. I STOPPED itching in 24 hours. It has been a MIRACLE. Scratching is now due to habit but not itching. My skin has lost redness. I am glad about my success but sad when I read about my fellow AD's who continue to suffer despite dupixent"

Dupixent (dupilumab) "I am 20 years old and when I say I have tried anything and everything to calm my skin down from having horrendous eczema flare ups. I mean it. I have eczema head to toe and have had it my entire life (all year round). I have just taken my first dose after getting the booster (double) shot on dupixent and I AMAZED with how my skin is! My face has cleared up and my arms look amazing! I can sleep through the night now! Before this I would wake up with my bed covered in dead skin I had scratched off, even if I took 3 benadryl! I would still wake up at night from itching!!!!!"

Dupixent (dupilumab) "Oh, sweet Dupixent! Where have you been all these years of my life? I have been diagnosed with so many things over those 24 years. I have suffered many years without relief. Nothing cured it. I have tried everything, prescription and OTC. It is too many to list. I thought I was going to have to live with this the rest of my life. And I had given up. Even worse, I suffer from chronic itching. When I started the Dupixent injections, my skin was at its worst. I just had my 4th injection. But I am already healed!!! (insert cry face here) The itch is 100% gone. The last breakout is completely healed and I haven't had one since. This has changed my life! I wish more people knew about this!"

Dupixent (dupilumab) "I suffer from Atopic Dermatitis and was on Dupixent for 7 months with no change. It calmed down the itching some and that's all. 4 months into taking the injections my joints started to hurt and continued to get worse. The Dr. stopped the Dupixent and my joints began to feel a little better. So I still suffer from AD with no medicine that helps. Glad for those that it does help."

Dupixent (dupilumab) " My dermatologist suggested I tried dupixent for my severe atopic dermatitis. I was nervous to do injections on myself but it's easy to get do. It doesn't hurt a lot if you do it correctly. I've been on it for over 6 months. I recently (2-3 weeks) noticed my neck broke out in hive-looking rashes. It's on the front and back of my neck. My eyelids and the skin above my upper lip are red and dry. I continuously moisturize everyday multiple times a day and it doesn't seem to help. Only a steroid shot seemed to help relieve the rash but it has redeveloped. Dupixent really helped clear me up (22 female) but now I don't know if it's still working or not. I will give it time and see if it goes away."

Dupixent (dupilumab) "I was put on Dupixent in Oct 2018 for acute dermatitis on hands. I has a 2 inch area in the center of each palm that was non-responsive to topicals. After 4 months my hands were clear. I did not have any side effects. In May, I had a flare covering both palms and soles of my feet. They are still flared after 8 months and now I am getting rashes on my back, under breast and arm pits. I should not be getting worse but obviously Dupixent is either contributing to the issue or doing zero to prevent it. And over the last couple of months the hair shedding hit."

Dupixent (dupilumab) "Had AD since birth (youngest of nine and we ALL had it) we used to sleep with red bags wrapped around or feet and hands to force the steroids salves into our skin. Day after day we do go to school with torn up sheets as bandages on our fingers. Kids never wanted to sit next to me because they thought it was “Catchy”. I’ve been on Dupixent for a year. I do not have a single bloody crack on my hands. My skin is smooth and soft. Even my nails have straightened out. The bad news is that I have severe joint pain. Trying to manage it with Tylenol. Not giving up. Not ever going back to AD. Thank you for giving me life without pain, burning, itching and embarrassment."

Dupixent (dupilumab) "I am 56 years old and have eczema/Atopic dermatitis since I was 10 months old. Mostly these years, I have been severe. The pain, the discomfort, it was horrible. I was made fun of, I couldn't wear shorts, go swimming, play sports, have cats, or basically eat anything! I have been on every steroid possible, from prednisone for two years straight to all of the topical creams and ointments. My skin is paper thin that if I even bump into a wall I'm torn up and bleeding and scared. I have had the first 2 injections and 1 more of Dupixent and I am clear, some little rash left but dang, I just started. I do have eye problems like uveitis, but the risk is definitely worth it. So far no side effects! (4 weeks). I feel great and want to wear shorts!"

Dupixent (dupilumab) "This drug is awful. And the process The side effects. It is not a fix. It is a band aide. The trial is for people to be guinea pigs. For something that is not okay. And doctors use it as a way to get a kick backs. I do not recommend."

Dupixent (dupilumab) "I am well into my 50s and started suffering diognosed Atopic Dermatitis. My hands were so bad I couldn't shake hands with anyone. All my finger tips had to be bandaged up. The skin on my fingers and thumbs were so thick my phone at times could not recognize my thumbs if I wanted to text! My palms looked like chemical burns to my skin they were peeling so bad. I also have this on my feet but not nearly as bad as my hands. Steroid shots would clear this up but only for a few weeks. Topical steroids would help but made my finger tips very sensitive to hot or cold. I will be closing in on my 4th Dupixant injection. I still have the itching, but my skin has really cleared up. Not close to 100% but I will take this over what awfulness I have been through the past 2 years."

Dupixent (dupilumab) "This medication is incredible! I've had allergy and asthma issues since I was a baby but atopic dermatitis began shortly after giving birth. I tried everything. Allergy shots, tanning bed, steroids, and steroid creams. I felt hopeless and the constant rashes and itching was driving me insane. I saw tremendous improvement within the first week. Now, 3 months later, my skin is 98% cleared. I'll get the occasional spot but it clears up quickly and isn't a problem. I pray this medicine continues to work and that many others get the opportunity to try it. It literally has changed my life. Dupixent is amazing!!"

Dupixent (dupilumab) "Have been using this for the past 3 months now and I am a bit disappointed as I am not feeling as good as when I was on cyclosporine. After a few doses, my dermatitis was out of control and everywhere in places I never had dermatitis before. I had to stop my allergy shots since I was feeling that my immune system was too much affected all at once. Now it is after 6 doses and it is just starting to calm down. But again, I am not seeing any positive results like when I was on Cyclosporine. Does anyone have the same feeling? results? I am really looking to stop it and get back on cyclosporine. Any comments?"

Dupixent (dupilumab) "I’ve been taking dupixent a little over one month now and it’s already improving my life. 3-4 days in I already felt less reactive. 2 weeks in my hives were gone and my scalp and back were clear. 3 weeks in my skin feels soft again in most places and my hands a significantly less reactive (one of my worst spots). 4 weeks in I have some facial dryness, one spot in my chest, and still a little reactive spots on my hands (no longer itching me to death). Can’t wait to see what two more months does. I am so thankful for this medicine. It’s a life changing experience. I’ve suffered severely the last 5 years as well as my childhood. So pleased to know that I may not have to live in daily misery."

Dupixent (dupilumab) "I am 21 years old and have had eczema my entire life but it wasn't until I got my tonsils removed when I was 18 that the eczema became severe and spread throughout my entire body. For months I could find no relief and had open wounds from scratching all over my body. I tried changing my diet, acupuncture, went to see allergists and nothing was working.I then went and saw a dermatologist who introduced me to dupixent after pills and steroid cream didn't fix it. Dupixent was finally approved and from the moment I started it my skin cleared up. I've been on it for nearly 4 months and still have clear skin with the occasional small flare up but cortisone cream fixes it right away. Can't praise dupixent enough!! Hopefully it continues to work!"
