For Asthma, Maintenance "I had multiple severe side effects from the first dose two weeks ago. I got flu-like symptoms for 48 hours: hot flashes/sweating, headache, felt feverish, and felt quite fatigued. My heart was racing for over two days after the shots. I already suffer from recurrent UTIs, and right after the Dupixent, I got a terrible increase in bladder pain that I’m still suffering with. I have been extremely depressed because of the bladder pain and having to pee every half hour. I have a rash in the two spots where I was injected with Dupixent. My eyes were red and extremely dry and irritated the first two days after the shots; now they are slightly red and very dry and gritty. My asthma and allergies seemed to clear up right away but have returned less than two weeks after the shot. No way I’m taking this again."

For Chronic Rhinosinusitis With Nasal Polyps "My Dr. gave me Dupixent in hope of clearing up chronic sinuses. By the fourth shot, I told her I was getting headaches and contributed to this drug. She disagreed and administered a fifth shot, but I said I was through with the drug if I got headaches. After about a week, the headaches came back to the extreme. It’s been five weeks now, and I am still suffering along with other side effects. One would have to be crazy to take this drug and deal with the pain and anxiety that I am going through."

For Prurigo Nodularis "I was diagnosed with prurigo nodularis recently, and after my doctor tried all options and nothing worked, he had me try Dupixent. I was hopeful and have been on the shots for 3 months. I have seen some improvement with it clearing, or it tends to clear quicker than before, but after each injection, I started noticing different things such as my nose would bleed, which has never happened, which led to serious inflammation and scabs inside my nose, continuously stuffy as if I have a cold. I was tired shortly after my injection, and the following day, I've had constant headaches, itchy, scratchy eyes. I developed a rash on the behind that was extremely painful and odd, and I've had a lot of muscle aches and generally don't feel good at all. Dupixent is not for me, and I have stopped treatment."

For Eczema "Cleared up some eczema but caused more on my face and headaches for two straight days after I gave it to myself. The injection itself hurts really bad and burns. Gave me a yeast infection in my mouth, which apparently is a common side effect. My eyes are itchy, red, and dry! All in all, I hate it! And will never use it again."

For Chronic Rhinosinusitis With Nasal Polyps "Dec 2021, I quit smoking cigarettes and weed. I was a smoker for 15 years. After a few months, I stopped smelling things and developed nasal polyps. No known allergies, so the ENT decided to do surgery. After that, one was done for 2 months or so, things were great again. But, oh bummer, same symptoms later: headaches, nasal pressure, blowing your nose 50 times a day, and 20 times at night. Cough, post-nasal drip, infections. I tried steroids, sprays, prednisone, and nasal washes, but nothing really helped me. The ENT said it was time for another surgery, I said NO and went for a second opinion. The different ENT asked if I wanted to try biological treatment, Dupixent, and so far so good. Nine days ago, I had my first injection and I can already smell things, breathe easier, and the pressure is almost gone. I hope it doesn't have any long-term bad side effects, though."

For Atopic Dermatitis "I have had AD all my life (36 yrs). Started with Dupixent in Feb 2021. Amazing results after 3 injections. But some side effects: - headaches (may be due to steroids stop) - weakness, need to sleep a lot - weight gain. I did a blood test 3 days before starting Dupixent and then before my 4th shot to assess the impact of this new medication. I was surprised with an important decrease in my lymphocyte level (white blood cells) - that are now under the normal rate. Lymphocytes are the backbone of our immune system, and I thought that Dupixent doesn't have any immunosuppressive effect. I think that I will continue using Dupixent as it really changed my life but will try to space as much as possible my injections, otherwise, I am scared to destroy my immune system. I have already seen feedback where people have succeeded in doing it once every 8-9 months. Anyway, Dupixent is a miraculous medication, and I am very thankful to the research team for this progress in treating atopic dermatitis."

For Eczema "I inherited bad eczema from my mum. I finally started Dupixent. I stuffed up one of the injection sites. Now it's bruised with a big lump... four weeks ago. Still the same. I find it flares up really bad for two days. Chronic gastro, headaches, itching, hot and cold sweats, insomnia, however, the massive patches of scaly red skin have faded and will take a while to heal 100%. My third round of the injections, I hope the company keeps continuing to tweak for those suffering from eye problems. It's only $7.70 here in Australia. Dosage: 4 mls every two weeks. Showed my flatmate how to inject, he nearly passed out, lol. He did one injection yesterday but too fast. It really hurt because I can't reach the left side of my stomach at a 45-degree angle. I tried my thigh, but it went straight into muscle. Didn't work, so the only fat I can find is a bit on my"

For Prurigo Nodularis "I have never been more relieved and pleased with a product. I have been suffering with plaque buildup, itching, and extreme hair loss. Just ONE week after my initial dose, I have experienced such positive results. I cannot thank you enough. While it may sound vain, you have given me relief as well as my self-confidence back. I have had some minor headaches, but (seriously) my MIL was visiting, and she is a handful, to say the least... I'm anxious to see if the headaches disappear after I take my second dose next week. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Not everything lives up to the promises made. Dupixent has for me."

For Chronic Rhinosinusitis With Nasal Polyps "I'm a 75-year-old male taking Dupixent for 4 weeks. Almost immediately, I could breathe freely through both nostrils. Super grateful for that. I feel superior to things like grasses, dust, etc. I inject the 300 mg dose in a thigh biweekly. The last two times, it stung fiercely at the injection site for a few seconds. Not a deal breaker. Side effects such as eye sensations in, on, or behind the eye. It's hard to say what the feeling is there. The last two days, I notice sharp throbbing head pain when I stand up, so I try to take a little more time to stand up, and that helps. And last night, the headache was so bad I doubt I slept. In these four weeks, I've had at least two strong headaches, and those haven't been an issue for years. The pain is in the right temple area. There is way too much flaky skin along both sides of the nose, which I find interesting in that one use of Dupixent is for some kind of skin issue."

For Eczema "So far, after the loading dose of 600 mg, I have been taking this injection bi-weekly - 300 mg (2 ml), and apart from a headache and stomach upset, it has been a resounding success for my eczema. My skin is clearer than it has been in years, and I have no itching! My only complaint is how much it hurts to take the injection - the ‘needle’ feels like it’s the size of a railway spike. Thankfully, I only have to inject every other week. The auto-injector itself is incredibly easy to use."

For Chronic Rhinosinusitis With Nasal Polyps "Started Dupixent in October 2021. In 2013, I was diagnosed with chronic sinus polyps. I had some removed in 2014. I had a CAT scan in 2016, and the image was completely white!! I was full, so full I had vertigo, could not sleep, I was absolutely exhausted. Went for surgery in November 2016. That was the best gift ever - in 2019, the polyps came back. I did a round of prednisone - and was on Pulmicort applied by laying back as it was shot up my nasal cavity. Lots of steroids. I went to an allergist and found out I was allergic to pollen and grass. In 2020, the polyps got worse, and I was booked for surgery. In August of 2021, my ENT told me about Dupixent - I applied for it and started in October - I had 2 shots so far. My sense of smell came back in one week. I can feel it working, and my sinuses are opening up. However, the side effects I am having include headaches, insomnia (very bad), dryness of my nasal passages, and dry mouth. It’s only been 2 weeks so far. I’ll post an update in a month or so."
