Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Birth Control "I have been on Safyral for two months, no babies. I used to have heavy periods, but they are lighter now. But I did gain weight, breasts got bigger and very tender. My skin is very broken out, I have a lot of headaches and nausea."

For Polycystic Ovary Syndrome "This was my miracle pill! I have PCOS and it caused me cystic nodular acne all over my body and face. I got 4 months' worth of samples (thanks, Doc) and it was the best thing I'd ever done for my body! My acne cleared up, I got NO headaches, my breasts grew from a D to a DD (yassss!) and my ovarian cysts went from 8 cm to 1.5 cm! Unfortunately, my insurance denied my prior authorization on this drug and I'm on Ocella, which they decided to drop also lol, so yeah fml. I'm on 'Zarah' now (Zara is my actual name too lol) and I'm liking it too, but if this fails, I'm going back to Beyaz! It's the best pill there is for me with no side effects!"

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Birth Control "So I'm barely on my first pack of this, but I'm a little worried. I've been on probably five different birth controls: Sprintec, Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, Lomedia 24 L, Amethyst, etc., etc. With those, I would eventually have breakthrough bleeding that wouldn't stop, so I kept switching. Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo was awful, I broke out so bad. So my doctor suggested a higher hormone dosage since I kept having breakthrough bleeding. Since I've started this, my stomach hurts a lot, kind of like cramps. I have headaches, my breasts have gotten a lot bigger, and they hurt to barely be touched. I also seem to have gained weight, obviously with my breasts being bigger. I'm scared kind of, but I read to give it a few months, and hopefully, it goes away. No bleeding though."

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Birth Control "This is my first birth control pill I've ever been on, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I am 16 years old and have 11-day periods, which are extremely heavy, with terrible cramps, fatigue, and headaches. My gyn put me on this, and everything was great for the first 3 weeks. I never had any breakthrough bleeding. I did have some slight cramps for the first week, but they were nothing compared to what I've been on. I am on the first day of the placebo, and so far no bleeding, but I do have awful cramps again, which I thought the pill was supposed to take care of. If this is the way my period is going to be every month, I might ask my doctor about Seasonique so I only have to deal with this once every 3 months."

For Birth Control "The side effects were just horrible. Terrible nausea to the point where I vomited a few times. Bad back pain. My boobs were sore and got much bigger (may be a good thing for some - I was not happy about it). I usually NEVER get headaches, but I got several a week once I started taking this. Sex became painful and I had zero sex drive, which seemed to defeat the purpose. My cramps felt like knives in my uterus - different than my normal cramping but the same amount of pain either way. The good parts were that my periods were lighter and regular, and it seemed to clear up my skin after the first month. Everyone's body is different, but this did NOT work for me and I will be going off of it asap."

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium "I've been on 2 other birth controls. But this one is the worst for me, granted everyone's body is different. This is giving me severe headaches, terrible mood swings, and I got my period 3 times this month! On to the next!"
