For Birth Control "I started taking Cyred in January of 2016. The first two months I was on it were the pits. I had constant dry blood (brown spotting), mood swings, sore breasts, and increased appetite. It felt like a forever period. Once those two months passed, though, my period regulated itself out, and it would only last about 3 days at most. I would still get pretty mood-swingy around that time, but that's about it. My appetite, sadly, stayed at the more increased level, but eating healthy options helps keep the weight down! It definitely does its job because it's been over two years now, and I'm still pregnancy-free. I have started taking only active pills to skip my period, and on the first try, it seems to be working! This pill may work for some and may not work for others, but just because of a few bad side effects, don't stop it right away, you could be missing out on something good in the long run."

For Birth Control "My last BC caused me to have acne, and while it did prevent pregnancy, it made me extremely moody. I switched to Cyred, and for the first 2 weeks, I was a little bloated, but nothing major, and it cleared my skin! I only get a random small zit or two around my period and occasional breast soreness, but it definitely does the job, and it prevents pregnancy! It hasn’t made me gain any incredible amounts of weight or made me irritable or moody, so I won’t be switching anytime soon!"

For Birth Control "First few weeks, I was bloated, had extreme cravings, breasts were sore and still are. I went up 3 cup sizes and gained about 5-10 lbs. The only consistent issue I’ve had is nausea, but it’s subsiding. I started Cyred about 7 months ago, took it for 3 months straight with NO SIDE EFFECTS, and then I skipped about 3 months and went back on it, which could be why I’m now experiencing these side effects. Since I started Cyred the second time, I’ve only completed one month's worth. I notice a change in texture in my skin, though not large breakouts (I don’t have acne ever). I’ve tried 4 different BC, including this one, one also including the depo shot, which I DO NOT recommend. But so far, this OC is the only one that my body has adjusted to the weight gain, and I’m starting to gain in more “flattering” places. I’m confident my experience with Cyred will get better as my body gets used to it. Nothing too severe as far as side effects."

For Birth Control "I have not been on birth control for 10 years and have used Cyred for 3 months now. The only side effect I experienced was tender breasts. They actually grew, which I’m not upset about. Worth the pain, in my opinion. I had no preference in brand because I haven’t been on it in so long. I have 0 allergies, etc. Cyred worked well for me, I’m not pregnant! Yay!"

For Birth Control "I have a couple of side effects, but I feel like it’s nothing you can’t handle. I get sore breasts for maybe 2-3 days. My period was 3 days, but now it’s 4-5 days. I have headaches here and there. Sometimes I lose my appetite and feel nauseous, but it only lasts 1-2 hours, and then I can eat again. I’m fine. I'd rather deal with this than deal with a kid, lol."

For Birth Control "I have been on it for over a month, and the only side effects I have had are that my breasts were sore for a week or two, but it went away. I got very anxious more than usual, lost my sex drive, and won't have sex unless he is basically begging for it. I was very irritable. But it also helped a lot with my acne, and I'm not pregnant, so it does the job, I guess."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Cyred for about a month now, I just finished the first pack. I started taking BC to avoid pregnancy and to regulate my period because I wouldn’t have it for months at a time. The first week my breasts started to get tender, but nothing unbearable. I would get some cramps and constipation, but again, nothing too bad. I did notice some weight gain and an increase in appetite. My breasts have noticeably grown, but I guess that’s a plus. I had clear skin before starting Cyred, and I still have clear skin now. I had moments where I was more emotional and irritable than normal, but it occurred around the time I would start my period. Before Cyred, my heavy periods would last about 5-7 days, but now I would bleed heavily the first day and have a light period the following two days. I take the pill at 8 pm every day (sometimes 1/2 an hour before/after) because I don’t usually wake up at the same time every morning, but I am at least awake at 8 pm every day."

For Birth Control "I'm in the middle of my third pill pack, and now I've been bleeding for five days-enough to need tampons for. The first month was hell: I was weepy and irritable, I was bloated all the time, and my boobs grew a ridiculous amount. Now, I'm bleeding, my boobs hurt terribly, and my acne is maybe getting better? Also, (for other factors) I eat healthy, drink at least a half gallon of water per day, and exercise. Not sure if I should keep taking this."

For Birth Control "I absolutely hate this birth control. Before I switched to this, I had been on Tri Linyah (Ortho Tri-Cyclen) for 5 years, and it was great! However, I wanted to switch to a new pill because I felt breast tenderness more often, and I wanted the ability to skip my period (my old pill had different dosages each week, which made this difficult). I went on Cyred, and my skin has been awful from the beginning (like so bad), my boobs are still very sore, and I experience nausea constantly. I'm currently just stopping this pill even though I haven't been a day without BC since I was 15. I am abroad right now, and I am tired of what this pill is doing to me. Can't wait to visit a doctor back home to get my old pill back or start IUD."

For Birth Control "I have been taking Cyred EQ for a bit over 3 months now, which is how much time you should allow yourself to become adjusted to new hormones (unless side effects are unbearable, of course). Also, take into consideration that everybody responds to hormones differently. What works wonders for some may cause hell for others. This is just my own personal experience, take note that yours could be completely different. Within a few weeks of beginning Cyred EQ, I noticed more acne breakouts on my face, neck, chest, and back. In addition to the acne, my breasts became increasingly tender (also may have grown a bit?) and I did not experience much relief with the unbearable cramps that I tend to get. On the other hand, I did not notice any weight fluctuations or significant mood changes. Spotting was very minimal after getting used to the hormones, and the flow of my period was very light. Overall, Cyred EQ has worked relatively well for me, despite a few annoying side effects."

For Birth Control "I've been using Cyred since 2017, and it definitely works because I'm not pregnant. It's an amazing pill, but don't get me wrong. The side effects that I've experienced are weight gain, sore breasts, and my libido drive went away. I did manage my libido drive, but it does get some time to get regulated with the pill. Besides that, it has cleared up my acne and has allowed me to not have any periods (instructed by doctor). I 100% recommend."

For Birth Control "I have taken the Cyred birth control on and off for a few months. I started taking it for a month, and it went really well. Then I stopped for a couple of months and now have been taking it nonstop for almost a month. I've been spotting dry blood nonstop, but it's not too terrible, and my breasts are tender and have gotten bigger. I'm able to eat more, which is nice because I usually have a poor appetite. My acne has gotten a little worse, but I'm sure it'll get better once my hormones regulate."

For Birth Control "So I’m just going to rate it at a 5 for now. I’ve been on the pill for about 2 weeks now, and what I have already noticed was acne. I never usually get acne except for a few bumps here and there, but now I’ve been getting huge pimples. Also, my breasts are a bit tender, but overall I’m just going to keep trying it out and hopefully my hormones will balance."

For Birth Control "I've been on this birth control a month and a half. The most bothersome side effect is my breast soreness. It even hurts to hug. No migraines or skin issues. I eat well and have been working out a lot, so I actually lost weight. I do get nauseous and loss of appetite occasionally, but I am able to skip my period, which is great. I did spot a bit after skipping two periods, so I took the placebos just to balance my body out. I have way less menstrual pain than normal. I'm going to stay on at least 3 months to see if the breast tenderness goes away!"

For Birth Control "I'm 18 and just got on this over a month ago. For the first couple of weeks, I had sore breasts, and I got nauseous at times. Threw up in my mouth once. But the rest actually wasn’t too bad."

For Birth Control "I’ve tried two other kinds of BC pills, and Cyred is the only one that doesn’t make me depressed. The only downside is it made my boobs sore in the first three months."

For Birth Control "I've been on for two months, so far so good, nothing out of the norm other than tender boobs, and I went up a cup size. Shortened my period to two days. But so far so good."

For Birth Control "I started taking this pill about a year ago, and it's been complete hell since I started. The first week and a half, I'm unbearably nauseous and hardly have an appetite. At first, I thought these symptoms would subside, but they never did. The next week and a half, I'm cursed with almost extreme PMS symptoms: ridiculous bloating, awful acne, breast pain; you name it. My periods last an entire week, and I get debilitating cramps, so bad that they make me sick the first few days. I tried to wait it out the year, but it's only gotten worse. This birth control has given me the worst anxiety, migraines, heart palpitations, and I'm dizzy constantly. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, not even my worst enemies. Please be cautious when using this."
