"I was on cyclobenzaprine for years for chronic neck pain and never had a migraine while I was on it. Never realized it could be used for migraines. But eventually, it wasn’t working much so I was put on another muscle relaxer. I recently had an experience that sent me to the ER. Also my mental clarity was taking a big dive. I’d have to say, cyclobenzaprine prevented my migraines."

"Like others on here, I accidentally found out that this is the one medication that can truly stop my headaches! Combined with Advil and finally relief! And it totally today I woke up headache, free, and want to put on my make up and realized I could see better. I was looking through the comments, and this seems to be my unique experience. I’d rather than blurring my vision, this drug seems to have improved my eyesight."

"Tried 1/2 tablet at bedtime for migraine and neck pain. Have experienced extreme fatigue in the morning lasting for about half the day. Headache, and neck pain are the same. The fatigue and loss of energy are not worth it for me."

"I was prescribed cyclobenzaprine by my neurologist when I got a lot of neck pain along with my migraines. At one point I had a continuous migraine for a month, and the only thing that broke it was taking Compazine 10 mg, cyclobenzaprine, 10 mg, and Benadryl 12.5 mg every night. After about five days, this finally broke my month-long migraine. I often use it together with my migraine medicines. If I get neck pain prior to the headache, sometimes taking cyclobenzaprine can prevent a headache from coming on. It seems effective for me."

Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) "I agree that Flexeril is helpful because it helps me relax enough to sleep when I have a severe migraine. I can only take it at home at night though because it makes me tired."
