Cenobamate for Seizures "The first week of Xcopri (12 mg), I began feeling weak, tired, and practically dragging. The second week, I felt a little better. Now that they increased my dose to 50 mg, the first week I felt okay. Now that I am in the second week, I feel so tired, weak, and dragging, my legs and muscles are sore, and I am so sleepy. I plan on calling the doctor to see what he recommends."

Cenobamate for Seizures "Not as many full-onset seizures. It does make me extremely tired. The blurry vision is very true. I thought I was having severe issues until I read it on the prescription info page, you know, the one folded a million times."

For Seizures "I have tried a lot of different types of AEMs, and when cenobamate was introduced, I was very grateful because none had made me seizure-free thus far. While I still sometimes have seizures with cenobamate, they have reduced dramatically in intensity and frequency, and also after some time have the lowest number of side effects. I take 350 mg of cenobamate, what I mostly struggle with are severe tiredness. I quickly fall asleep after taking my dosage in the evening, during the day, I’m less tired but still clearly more than usual. However, the medication is easy to use since you have to take it one time a day before going to bed. I really hope an improved version of cenobamate is released in the future that is even more effective."

For Seizures "This medication has drastically changed things. I’m more than a year seizure-free. I’ve had seizures for 36 years. Like many others, I take other medication, e.g., Keppra and others. I’ve reduced one of my medications and started slowly on cenobamate, where I now take 200 mg daily. Other factors might have contributed. I had lost quite a bit of weight, this was happening before I started to take cenobamate. I did find my diet changed. Foods that I liked, I would no longer eat, and I didn’t always want breakfast in the beginning of the change to cenobamate. Reducing my other meds, the seizures were intense, and I had more than one seizure at night. My seizures are all when I sleep. After a couple of months, when I was taking the regular dose, seizures stopped. Strange to say, I’ll put up with the strange eating habits and tiredness for no seizures."

For Seizures "I started taking cenobamate last August, starting slowly until maximum dosage 200 mg. I also have autism. I started initially with balance issues, though my seizures were getting under control. But later on, I started to get very aggressive and have nightmares and feel really tired. Things haven't improved much, though I have reduced the medication to 125 mg, but my life has changed for the worse."

For Seizures "I have been on every seizure medication available for over 20 years. The medication is very good for controlling my seizures but making me very tired every day and most of all it has affected my sex life badly."

Cenobamate for Seizures "Seizures are great, but lots of side effects: slurred speech, off balance when I walk, constipation, weight gain, and tiredness. And these are some that I can think of."

For Seizures "I am a UK patient. Currently titrating up from 12.5 mg to 200 mg daily of cenobamate (Ontozry) - a three-month program. Also on 1200 mg eliscarbazepine (Zebinix) daily, and downward titrating from 175 mg lamotrigine to 100 mg twice daily (3 months). Awful, awful daily memory problems, dizziness, somnolence, indescribable lethargy. My hair has thinned. Focal seizures the first two weeks of introducing cenobamate and withdrawing from lamotrigine. Very frightening. These have settled. I feel safer on cenobamate than I have in years, but the side effects are adversely affecting my work and personal life. Lots of adjusting. Will keep updating."
