For Seizures "I am a 55-year-old woman. I have been on seizure medication for more than 40 years. Xcopri controls my appetite, lost a couple of pounds, I go to the gym five days a week, I am almost seizure-free, the petit mal is gone, which I was having five or six times a day, grand mal decreased too, maybe once every other week. I have a little bit of a memory problem slowly, but I feel my memory got a little bit worse in a shorter time, and there are things I can’t remember from the last two to three weeks, I can’t bring words too. I will call my neurologist and ask to stop and adjust with other medication. I have been taking lamotrigine for more than twenty years at 600 mg daily. I have extreme constipation, I go maybe once or twice every other week. I was scared I went to GI, I was scared from cancer. Everything came out okay, but my digestion is not working properly. I am losing a little bit of hair too. I wrote all these so people can see it and I’m sure they can improve the med since this will help everyone."

For Seizures "Let me start by saying: ask your doctor to be honest about side effects and then list the pros versus the cons. My experience has been terrible, side effects that include nausea, abdominal pain, constipation, headaches, double vision, and severe dizziness. Add the fact that certain migraine medicines (Qulipta, Nurtec) interact with Xcopri was the deal breaker, but I tried to push through the first 3 weeks and failed. I was unable to do so because the side effects weren't worth adjunctive therapy. New isn't always the best."

For Seizures "Seizures are great, but lots of side effects: slurred speech, off balance when I walk, constipation, weight gain, and tiredness. And these are some that I can think of."
