For Chlamydia Infection "So I was in a relationship for 2 years. I was completely loyal, but my boyfriend, however, was not. I started getting an uncomfortable feeling down there. I ignored it for months, finally left my ex, and saw my gyno to find out I have chlamydia. Don't date a guy who goes out every weekend!!! My fault for trusting him! But anyways, my doctor gave me two 500 mg tablets, made me so, so sick and nauseous. I was dizzy for about 3 hours after. I got tested 2 weeks later and found out I'm still positive!!! Kinda worried because I'm so young and I had it for about 5/6 months. My doctor prescribed doxycycline 100 mg for a week. Just finished that, waiting to get retested. Hope I'm negative!!"

For Chlamydia Infection "I was prescribed 4 pills, and they gave me a shot in my butt. I didn’t eat before I went to the hospital (which was the worst mistake). I took the 4 pills all at once, and now 30 minutes later I’m overheating and nauseous. I threw up once, felt like garbage the rest of the day until I took a nap. When I woke up I felt dizzy every now and then, but the worst part was over. DON'T TAKE THESE ON AN EMPTY STOMACH!!"

For Chlamydia Infection "I took the azithromycin 500 mg 2 dose yesterday. I instantly felt nauseous and sick within the first hour and then got diarrhea within the second hour. I also was extremely dizzy and had a dry mouth for the rest of the day. Definitely not fun but worth it to cure what I have."

For Chlamydia Infection "I was prescribed 2 Azithromycin to take at once after I tested positive for Chlamydia. Not even an hour later, I was extremely dizzy, nauseous, and had bad abdominal pain. It’s been 10 days since I’ve taken it, and I’ve had random moments of nausea here and there and broke out with tiny little red dots all over my shoulders and chest. Some of the dots have a tiny white head, others don’t. My boyfriend took the dose as well and has had an upset stomach for the last week, on and off. DEFINITELY eat before you take the medicine, not too big of a meal because you do feel like you’re going to vomit for an hour or two. Hoping it’s gone when I’m retested in another month and a half."

For Chlamydia Infection "Well, today I finally decided to take the 4 red pills. I felt hot and out of breath like an hour later. I tried walking outside because it's cold out there. I threw up all my breakfast and water. So I started feeling hotter and dizzy. So I ran to the bathroom feeling like I had to make a bowel movement, but I didn't. I'm constantly throwing up. Now I can turn my fan on and lay in front of it to cool down, but my body temperature is constantly going from cold to hot. Now here come the stomach pains, feeling like contractions. It felt as though I was in labor. I was crying like a baby and holding my stomach so tight. Now it's 7 o'clock, I'm still having a little sharp pain, but I can deal with it. Hopefully, it works. The worst pain."

For Sinusitis "Side effects: headache, dizziness, and really tired. I have eye pain, no hunger, stomach pain, body chills, and nervousness. I feel like I'm gonna get sick. I'm on my 3rd day of this medication, and my sinus, well my nose, is still stuffy sometimes. Haven't seen a lot of change. I have 3 more days to go, let's see, because amoxicillin didn't work for me :(."

For Gonococcal Infection, Uncomplicated "Okay. I found this website after taking pills. I have a massive anxiety when it comes to medicine, as I had severe allergy reactions. So, I was prescribed 8 x 250 mg to treat gonorrhea. I took each pill every 15 mins, and the last 3 pills I took together. After like 20 mins, I was throwing up with massive pain. I can’t remember the last time I felt so sick. Now I’m writing this while sitting on the toilet with the worst diarrhea in my whole life. It's been 15 mins already. And it’s the second time. So I took it around 4 pm, now it's 9 pm, and I feel like I'm dying. I feel weak, dizzy... but I guess lesson learned the hard way. :) Hopefully, I’m not gonna need to take them again. The experience was the worst I’ve ever had."

For Chlamydia Infection "Took two pills with food, and within 30 minutes felt agitated, so went to sleep. Woke up 20 mins later REALLY hot, with my heart beating so fast! Felt very dizzy and weak, but made it to the toilet, vomited heaps, and had diarrhea. It was so full-on and a really scary experience. I called the helpline because I was somewhere without a hospital. Been two days since, and I’m still very dizzy and uneasy, have also had a headache ever since. Obviously, they won’t work since I probably vomited them up, so I’m going to take doxycycline for a week instead."

For Chlamydia Infection "I have taken this medicine twice. First time (4 tabs) was absolutely horrible, after an hour or two, I felt really dizzy, started sweating, and feeling really hot. I had to take my shirt and jacket off just to feel better about the heat. I also threw up constantly. 3/10. Because I threw up, I had to take a second dose (2 tabs), this was not that bad at all, 8/10. I ate tons of bread and water to help calm my stomach, and I felt nothing but a slight stomach sensation at night. That morning, however, I did feel it hit me, and I had to go to the restroom constantly, but it wasn't at all bad, just a slight upset stomach. I would prep with lots of bread if you need to take this."

For Chlamydia Infection "The first time ever having an STD was in 2013, then 2017. I was dealing with three people before being diagnosed the second time. Again, I told all parties involved, and we were treated. About a month after, I felt weird but was too scared, tired, and depressed to get checked a third time. I did last Thursday and got meds before the results, which I will get tomorrow. I took the medication today, and I never want to see another genital again. I took the meds at 5:31 PM. Felt fine for 30 minutes, and then there was slight shaking, overheating, dizziness, blurred vision. I unlocked my house door thinking I was going to die, I forgot about that until now. For an hour and a half, I experienced all of the above, including very bad and sharp stomach and chest pains and nausea. I have been on the toilet now maybe 30 or more minutes with the pain, and then water started shooting from that place.... I am scared to get up, but I feel much better. Never previously experienced any side effects."

For Tonsillitis/Pharyngitis "The secret of taking any antibiotics is a full stomach. Meaning, you should eat a full meal even if you don't have an appetite. A bowl of rice, soup, porridge, noodles, banana, oatmeal, peanut butter sandwich with honey, or anything you can eat. A full stomach before you take the medicine (in fact, any kind of medicine, even vitamins) is key to not feeling all the side effects. Also, if you feel too many side effects (nausea, vomiting, dizziness), you may be allergic to one component of the medicine you are taking. You should check on it! Like, I usually get Augmentin for my tonsils and ear infection, but I constantly get the same side effects when I take it, then I found out I was allergic to penicillin content."

For Bronchitis "I took this with a large meal the first night and had some of the worst stomach cramps I’ve ever had in my life, combined with severe diarrhea, bloating, and chills. As soon as the diarrhea and cramping slowed down, the anxiety hit. I had 5 panic attacks the first day I was on this drug and was so terrified of everything I could not leave my room. My heart rate didn’t get below 100 for multiple hours and would spike into the 160’s and 170’s often, even if I wasn’t in the midst of a panic attack. I lost a lot of weight on this medication and my stomach is still not back to normal. I have absolutely no appetite and I’m nauseous all the time and still have cramping and bloating that I’ve never experienced before. This drug also caused severe weakness, dizziness, and vertigo to the point I often needed help walking across the room. Please be careful with this drug."

For Chlamydia Infection "My boyfriend and I took these pills together yesterday afternoon around 5:45. I didn't eat for an hour or two before I took them, but I thought I'd be okay because I ate that day. I had stomach cramps, nausea, and dizziness, but so far that's it. My boyfriend has seemed just fine so far. But it eventually subsided, and we went down to his property and target practiced. Today, I'm having a little bit of weirdness and distortion to my vision as though I've been staring at a computer screen too long. I believe insurance covers it, but I don't have insurance."

For Bacterial Infection "WARNING: I took only 4 pills of this medication during a flu with sinus infection, and it caused me to lose my abilities to smell and taste. It also caused severe headaches and dizziness until I stopped taking it. I don't know what it may mean for me to not be able to smell or taste again... I can't imagine the rest of my life with such a loss, but if I can at least warn others and prevent it from happening to another person..."

Azithromycin for Sinusitis "This drug worked after 5 days on my sinus infection. On the 6th day, I experienced vomiting, dizziness, stomach cramps, constipation, black stool, hypertension, fast beating of the heart, low energy, hives on my face, headaches, swollen eyelids, and dark circles under my eyes. Day 11 after taking the last dose, still experiencing a fast heartbeat, swelling in my feet, and hives on my face. Low energy."

For Bronchitis "OMG, I think I'm dying. Have been having bronchial spasms for weeks, and stomach had swollen to twice its size, so I went to the doctor and was put on Z-Pak, steroids, nebulizer, Singulair, and Gas-X. Four days later, I feel 10 times worse. Not sleeping at all due to it causing my chest to tighten and bronchial spasms to worsen. Stomach is so nauseated I can't stand it, severe night sweats, and dizziness. Oh yeah, and add to that a yeast infection... smh. I am pretty much set against another round of doctor visits, so fresh garlic for me from now on."

For Bronchitis "I was prescribed this drug three days ago. I have to say, I feel worse than I did when I went in to seek help. It is keeping me from sleeping properly. I have no appetite, I feel like I have the flu when I don't. I have three doses left. I have decided to stop taking it. My head feels buzzy, and my ears will not stop ringing. This sucks, all I had was a cold."
