For Chlamydia Infection "Girlfriend was told she had it, so my doctor said she was going to give me the antibiotics anyways. 2 500MG pills. I had a huge Mexican dinner and took the pills after. She said she felt sick after taking hers, and I said I'll be fine because of my stomach of steel. 1 hour later, puked my brains out, and I feel like a new man. No cramps... yet. And no diarrhea either. But I have a digestive system of steel! Hopefully..."

For Chlamydia Infection "Side effects from azithromycin were that I had horrible cramping and nausea. I couldn’t move without thinking I’d throw up. The stomach pain lasted a couple of hours and then turned into chest pain. I thought I was done for at that point, all to find out I didn’t even have it to begin with."

For Chlamydia Infection "Rating this on my experience so far, not sure if it totally got rid of it yet. Got chlamydia using a condom with a long-time hookup I thought was monogamous with me, how swell, right? Didn't have symptoms, but a routine test came back positive. Was terrified to take these because I get so sick on antibiotics, but took a few precautions that helped. Started loading up on digestive probiotics right away (waited two days to take the dose because I had a weekend I could not miss from being sick). Waited for a day off, ate a huge meal and loaded up on water. An hour after taking the pills, I felt like I was about to vomit with intense stomach pain. This went away after a two-hour nap. Now I feel fine, just tired and a little crampy."

For Chlamydia Infection "Went to the doctor, tests were negative, my boyfriend's test a week earlier was positive. The doctor said he could have a false positive, I don’t care, give me the meds, I don’t play about my health! 4 pills to take at once (insurance only pays for 3, had to pay $4.20 for the last pill). I ate gumbo and a Coke (bad idea), took them at 1:30, minutes later I felt sleepy. An hour later, bad headache, then at around 4 I started feeling really nauseous, an hour later diarrhea and chest pains. I then ate 3 sandwiches and a bottle of water and still felt horrible all day. Went to sleep about 9, woke at 3 for more diarrhea, nauseated, chest pains, feeling empty and bad cramps. I’m ready for this medicine to take its course and get out of my system. I wouldn’t wish these side effects on anyone. I heard even on a full stomach you’re going to experience side effects, but mild...if it gets too bad, PLEASE people go to the ER! But once again, “TAKE THESE ON A FULL STOMACH.”"

For Chlamydia Infection "Took the 4 tablets in the nurse's room and less than 30 mins later was writhing in agony. So pleased I don't live far from the clinic. 1 hour later and I'm still experiencing waves of horrendous cramps and am starting to feel like I might need to run to the loo. I hadn't eaten all morning, which may be why. Tried to eat and drink now, but it just intensifies the cramps. But, if it works, it's worth it. I'd just advise anybody to take them at home when you've no plans!"

For Tonsillitis/Pharyngitis "I was prescribed this medicine after they ran out of options as to what it could be. I only took 2 of the five pills prescribed to me. Yes, I know that's bad, but my throat and other symptoms cleared up, and I couldn't handle the stomach problems this caused me. Terrible diarrhea and cramps, constant nausea."

For Chlamydia Infection "Before going to the clinic, I ate two breakfast sandwiches and drank water and an iced coffee. About 45 minutes after is when I took the pills. One dose of four 250 mg capsules. I didn’t feel any side effects until about 2 hours later. My stomach has been cramping and I feel very nauseous, but nothing too severe. My opinion is to eat relatively heavy before taking the pills and not just the two saltine crackers some offices offer. If the clinic suggests you take them in the office and you haven’t eaten, request to take the pills with you so you’re more prepared. Do not eat these on an empty stomach. My other suggestion is to do this on a day you don’t have much planned. I took the pills, then came home and napped. I did wake up once feeling bad, but I fell back asleep and feel better now. My stomach is also making strange noises and I have a slight headache, but no diarrhea yet (crossing fingers). Take it easy and baby yourself."

For Chlamydia Infection "Just after taking the 4 pills around two hours ago, half an hour after taking them, I started feeling really sick and had the worst cramps in my stomach. I went to sleep for an hour, but it didn't help, still feeling extremely sick and crampy. The doctor never warned me about these side effects, and it sounds like they're pretty common. No more sex for me, not going through this again."

For Chlamydia Infection "I have previously had chlamydia in the past, and my boyfriend at the time and I were both given the four pills, and we both ended up running to the bathroom all night with the runs and horrible cramps. Two years later, I have it again, and my doctor suggested the liquid form. Took 25 ml of it after lunch and felt a little lightheaded for about an hour afterward and had a few cramps, but aside from that, I feel fine!"

For Chlamydia Infection "First time I took this, I had bad cramps from not eating enough and drinking water. I mistakenly took one a day instead of the two once daily, so when I got a refill, I ate a lot of food before and after taking the medicine, plus three bottles of water, and I only had bad gas and diarrhea. No cramps yet. So I’m happy as long as my stomach doesn’t end up feeling like knots!"

For Chlamydia Infection "My girlfriend and I had a threesome with some random chick. (Not advisable) I was pretty inebriated, so I'm guessing we somehow contracted it even with the failed attempt at using condoms. Anyway, we tested positive for clap, and I got two pills of azithromycin. I took the tablet about thirty minutes later, then I started feeling really ill. Light headache, cramps. I went home, laid down, then I was running to the toilet with diarrhea. Hopefully, this means it's working, lol. My girlfriend had similar symptoms."

For Bacterial Infection "I was literally sobbing when I read all of the side effects people said they were experiencing when taking azithromycin. BUT DO NOT STRESS! Stressing will make you feel a lot worse, and that won't help. I panicked for nothing! I was given these antibiotics following an abortion. I recommend doing what I did, I ate a slice of bread at lunchtime because that's all I could stomach, but anything starchy I was told was a good idea. I ate the bread an hour before I planned to take the tablets. I then took x2 Stugeron 15 (travel sickness tablets). An hour later (13:33), I took x4 azithromycin with lots of water. I fell asleep almost straight away. LUCKILY, no side effects at all! Slight cramping, but great overall, and it's 18:44. Good luck, guys."

For Chlamydia Infection "So I was very afraid to take this medicine because a long time ago I got sick, but this time I ate a full meal, and I’m 3 hours in feeling fine. Just have the poops here and there, little cramps, nothing crazy, but I do not suggest holding any gas or B.M. You will feel sick, promise lol."

For Chlamydia Infection "I tested positive for chlamydia in April and got treated with four 250 mg pills. I took them on a somewhat empty stomach and had slight cramping and was nauseated. I was tested negative 2 weeks later, so the medicine did its job. I got tested again Friday and tested positive for chlamydia again (I didn’t learn to use condoms the first time). I took the 4 pills again yesterday around 8 right out of a nap. This time I had diarrhea, overheating, nauseated, and painful stomach pains an hour later. I was on the toilet for 30 minutes in pain. After that, I felt fine. I went out with friends, and this morning I feel fine also! Hopefully, it did its job!"

Azithromycin "This medicine makes you extremely tired! As I’m not a very tired person and typically go to bed around 12-1 a.m. after working on my business. But I get so tired and start nodding off and sleep talking a whole bunch of gibberish, waking myself up laughing, you would think I had been drinking. It’s the wildest thing. I don’t drink, smoke, or ever do drugs, but this medicine makes me so tired. I doze off around 9-10 (so early for me) and start sleep talking gibberish and laughing. The first day, I did have cramping and diarrhea, but I have been good on that aspect the 2nd and 3rd day, probably because I had to take two initially. And I never take medicine aside from ibuprofen. Aside from the 1st day and sleepiness, it’s been good."

For Chlamydia Infection "I found out I had chlamydia on Friday, went into the doctor's again today (Monday) and was given two 500 mg tablets to take. I drove to work straight after and I can't describe the pain I was feeling. I was lying down at work for 2 hours with the worst stomach pains I have ever experienced. Ended up in the toilet with diarrhea and couldn't move. Still have cramping and am now at home lying in bed. Scared to eat now as I don't want to run back to the toilet. I hope this goes away. I have never felt so sick from taking medication, but if the chlamydia is gone then I guess it's worth it."

For Chlamydia Infection "First of all, everyone’s body is different and will react differently. So don’t leave a review saying it’ll be fine because for most, it’s not fine. This pill made me feel like I was having contractions! I was in the fetal position for two hours crying. I ate before I took the pills, yet I still had the worst cramps I’ve ever had."

For Chlamydia Infection "Well, got a call at 11 a.m. from a nurse that one of my partners has tested positive for chlamydia. I freaked out a little because, you know, STDs are gross and sometimes killer. Well, 6:30 p.m. rolls around, and I go see a doctor. I'm given 4 pills, and I take them in the doctor's office. I'm sent home, and I feel fine. Here I am all happy (LOL), minding my own business. It's now 8:15 p.m., and I'm cramping like mad. I freaked out because I thought my IUD was expelling or something, because those cramps were the worst. At this very moment, I am telling you this news from the comfort of my toilet. The diarrhea has stopped (thanks, Imodium), and I vow to use condoms 100% of every time. Now I just wonder if I'll get a yeast infection from this (bleh)."

For Chlamydia Infection "I took this medication last night, roughly around 10 pm! And I woke up at 12 pm feeling so terribly nauseous, then my stomach started to cramp and I ran straight to the toilet with diarrhea. I was so drowsy also this morning from the tablets! Woke up again with diarrhea, now I’m a bit better but feeling super tired! These tablets are no joke, and the side effects are pretty full-on."

For Chlamydia Infection "I went to the doctor last week after I partied too hard and woke up the next morning with my roommate telling me, 'Oh, I invited my friends over, and y’all had a great time.' Uhhh, what? Anyway, I tested positive for Chlamydia and was given 2 pills today. She told me to take it on a full stomach. So once I got home and ate, I popped them suckers in. Within the next hour, I was on the toilet with diarrhea.... I’ve been cramping and nauseous. I’ve been to the bathroom maybe 4 times since I’ve taken it, which was at 7:25, and now it’s 9:12. Here goes everything."

For Chlamydia Infection "I took 2 of the 500 mg pills at about 1:30, and at about 4, I started to feel very woozy and had terrible cramps in my stomach. I’ve had really bad diarrhea, but I’m hoping I start to feel better soon. I will not be sexually active for a very long time! This is not worth it at all."

For Chlamydia Infection "Only two hours in, and I already cannot get off the toilet 'cause everything and anything is coming out, and my whole behind is literally on FIRE. Don’t know if there are any more side effects to come, but yeah, my stomach is killing me with cramps, and I literally cannot move from the toilet."

For Chlamydia Infection "I took 2 of the pink 500 mg pills. I had 2 slices of pizza about 2 hours prior to taking the medication, and I washed them down with iced tea. Right before work, I ate again, chicken nuggets from Burger King. I felt fine until about 4 hours later when this intense wave of nausea came over me while I was working. I also felt very hot. This continued on for the rest of the night. Today, I feel better, just a little abdominal cramping, but nothing that interferes with my day-to-day activities. For me, the medication wasn't a bad experience. Just a low price to pay for not using a condom."
