Acetaminophen / oxycodone "This isn't the first site I've researched for answers to my recent experience with Camber MFG. Percocet Rx my pharmacy switched to late Jan 2018. I'd say be on notice! My pharmacy switched me to Camber late Jan. 2018. I thought maybe aggravation to my pain? But it seemed like more pain & sooner. I had been stable for years prior. Now, 2nd full refill, oh my goodness, I still had more pain but crazy symptoms I haven't had for years plus headaches, stiffness not the usual, extreme nausea, feels like throat/esophagus swollen. One day foggy, can't think at all, another feel like I'm on speed, sometimes just weird, not like me! I was ok before... with NO side effects at all. Now today open bottle & horrible smell like paint thinner & rot. I'm freaking out, this Rx is unbearable! I'm thinking of sending it to an independent lab to get tested. This smell is serious. Are they skimming the active ingredient... going to black markets?! This is serious & harming legitimate patients."

"My Walgreens switched my acetaminophen/oxycodone 7.5 to Mallinckrodt 2 months ago, and I do not seem to get the same pain relief. I am also experiencing headaches, nausea, and I just feel lousy with this new brand. I am going to fill my next script at a different pharm so I can get another brand and see if it helps. Maybe it's all in my head? I don't think so because I get more relief from my old scripts that are 5 mg (I still had some left over). I am reading many people are having similar issues with Mallinckrodt. I wish I had a magic wand so I could wave it and help you all with your pain."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone "Been on these meds for 9 years due to a severe back injury. Each MRI was worse than the previous. W/O these meds, I cannot function. The mfg (Rhodes) was changed to KVK Tech. KVK gave me severe diarrhea. My dr said that was impossible. She said I most likely had diarrhea because I’m selling them instead of taking them. I'm on 112 of the 5 mg every 14 days, and I’m having withdrawals. I found out the KVK brand has an extra inactive ingredient, some kind of lactose something, I’m lactose intolerant. My dr cut the quantity in half, believing I was selling them. 2 months on the KVK brand, severe diarrhea non-stop. One morning, the pain was so bad in my leg and back I couldn’t walk and was taken to the hospital and was admitted. MRI revealed a benign growth on my spine and was now pinching nerves. My dr called it arthritis. Years of Rhodes (oxy) seemed to work. Mallinckrodt also worked okay. I just filled 10/325 of Camber, will see if those work. KVK absolutely does not work for me."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone "Every disc in my entire spine is damaged, all sorts of conditions with chronic pain. I've been on brand Percocet for 10+ years with a few years on the generics. The generics suck and don't do much for pain as I had to keep switching between them (so long on one and then so long on the other), but the brand Percocet does work, for me anyway. I was even reduced from 5/day to 3/day and it's still working. No addiction and no dependence, my strength is 10/325. The insurance company wants to put me on generics again, not because they care about me, it's the cost. Quality of life, along with other meds, is better but far from great. Any side effects are outweighed by how good they work without getting high."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone "3 back surgeries resulting in severe chronic pain. I have been taking Percocet 5/325 for over 10 years. 2 to 3 tabs daily, and it enables me to do gardening, lawn care, and other chores around the house. It really allows me to do more and have a better quality of life."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone "I’ve had 5 major spine surgeries and well over 30 spine surgical procedures. I’ve currently been diagnosed with 7 bulging thoracic discs on top of my hardware-repaired cervical spine and hardware-repaired lumbar spine. My pain was managed adequately with 10/325 of Percocet from Mallinckrodt. I have noticed, without a doubt, the difference between Camber, Amneal, and another which have no effect on my chronic pain. My pharmacy was out of 10/325 for a week, and when I finally was able to pick up my prescription, I didn’t even question whether it was a different manufacturer. Upon looking at the medication, I immediately noticed the difference. Needless to say, it has absolutely no effect on my pain. It’s an absolute outrage that our government(s) allow these foreign companies to get away with this and allow legitimate patients to suffer for no good reason."

"I’m on Percocet 10 for years. I was switched to the Mallinckrodt. I knew they made me sick, but I wasn’t told about the switch. I had to take them all month. Years ago, my father-in-law built a pharmacy building. I got to know the pharmacist and her son on a casual basis. I got my Percocet there one month. I asked the pharmacist's son why they carry a medicine that makes some people have stomach problems. This is what he said: "It’s strictly business. We’re allowed to purchase a pill with 100% active ingredients but as low as 20% less." It’s now 30% less. It is sad that Mallinckrodt was allowed to take 30% of active ingredients out of their formula and makes us sick. Hang in there, chronic patients. We worked all our lives and got hurt, etc., and just want out of pain and a normal life. Thanks."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone "Only in regards to RP10325 Rhodes Pharmaceuticals Oxycodone/Acetaminophen 10/325. In chronic severe pain, I've been taking Percocet for years, and it gave me back my life. I was ready to give up until I was finally told that this is what I needed, and some people do need opioids when taken as prescribed. It helped for years. Recently, CVS switched to the Rhodes Pharmaceuticals brand. I talked to the pharmacist, and all she said was that she's out of the normal brand she gets but didn't elaborate. Is there a shortage? Or is this all that's available? The Rhodes brand feels like I'm having withdrawals as well. There is something wrong with this brand, as many others have noted. As someone else suggested, I sent in an online complaint, as if we don't report it, it will never change and be made correctly. I can't believe the fillers would make it not work, and I'm not a scientist, but my back is still hurting after taking the Rhodes brand of Percocet for 2 days."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone "As someone constantly in pain from sports injuries and just general pain from working out 4-5 times a week, minor sciatic recurring pain in my legs, and with no options to discontinue my weekly workout routine, Percocet is perfect. Never has Percocet made me loopy, stupid, tired, or out of control. In fact, I feel more energy when I take Percocet, and I am able to not only make it to the gym but get a much more effective workout. As a 36-year-old with very low-level high blood pressure concerns, family history of heart problems, family obesity history, a history of being overweight myself, and adult ADHD, I have no choice but to workout! Percocet allows me to do so, while working and living a normal life. Thank you, Percocet."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone "I am 68. I have pain in my back and legs every day, which is worsened by standing or walking, so I sit almost all the time in my recliner. I go to a pain clinic and have tried Morphine, Fentanyl, and Dilaudid. None of these helped. In fact, at higher dosages, they actually made the pain unbearable. Percocet is the only medication that works for me, and when I first took it, I felt like it was a miracle. I am prescribed Percocet 5 times a day, Tizanidine for spasms, and Tramadol for breakthrough pain. I can actually garden outside again and have once again become active. I just hope I don't develop a tolerance because the doctor said this is as high as I can go, and I don't know where else I could turn. Percocet has truly given me my life back!"

"I am experiencing the same results from the generic brand Mollinckrodt from Walgreens. I have been on 7.5-325 mg oxy for my back and neck pains and chronic migraines. I know when I am taking effective medication, and these are not. If the generic brands are ineffective, what are the pharmacies doing about it? Something needs to be done, and the FDA needs to take note that not all people on opioids are addicts or druggies. We are in pain and need help, not judgment. Please address the issues with the generic brands of oxy. Thank you in advance."

"This T 194 (Camber Pharmaceuticals) pill claims it is oxycodone/acetaminophen 10/325, however, it definitely does not feel like it. I would have rated it a zero on a scale of 1-10, but it made me choose a one as the lowest score. I have taken many various brands of Percocet over the years and have never once felt like I did with this pill. It did absolutely NOTHING! How in the world can this be okay? It's not like buying these off the street like heroin and don't know what's in it. This is a prescribed medicine people are getting from their pharmacy. How is this happening? Who checks/regulates this stuff? Does no one check to make sure these ingredients are really what is being put into the pill? I can't believe that this could happen until I got on here and started reading all these comments other people put about the same problem. Is there something that can be done? This is just plain wrong. Any advice would be great."

"I am a highly active person but my condition for the past 20 years has been advanced arthritis. Imagine reconciling joint pains with the desire to remain healthy. So, my treatment has been opioid medication for the past ten years. Does it work? Pain relief is accompanied by mild euphoria. Nevertheless, if I stop taking it, severe pain in the joints ensues, notwithstanding risky withdrawal symptoms. Being pain-free and feeling good about it, however, is a source of stigma by pharmacies and family members. So, according to my Dr's advice, I don't tell anyone. Care must be taken to avoid abuse and enjoy this healthy life. Gratefully, I've found something that works. I hope one day our cohort of bona fide chronic pain sufferers will no longer need to endure such social restrictions and stigmas."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone "I too have had chronic pain after a terrible accident and have been on pain medication for decades. When I take CAMBER OXYCODONE HCL 15 MG, they made me sick from withdrawal, nausea, diarrhea, chills, aches, no pain relief, and stuck on them for a month - is there any active ingredient in these? Tell your pharmacy to NEVER give you that brand again. If a chain, DRIVE TO ANOTHER to find a different brand and PLEASE REPORT TO FDA. I have reported this terrible, worthless drug to the FDA. The more reports they get, then maybe they will inspect further, and hopefully do tests on how much active ingredients are in them. I have refused this brand with my pharmacy. I am so sick from them and in terrible pain - I just can't function but have to use them for this month. DEMAND FDA do something. Please, please report. There is a shortage of opioids thanks to junkies, not us people in chronic pain who do what we are told. But if the FDA doesn't stop this company, we may be stuck with only being able to get these TRASH, USELESS PILLS!"

Acetaminophen / oxycodone "My experience began when I was a child. I had very strange headaches, eventually diagnosed as 'ice pick migraines'. They had all the symptoms of the normal migraine you hear about, except they were so painful, my feet would draw up, my eyes would roll back, and I went almost stiff from the pain... nothing helped. When I hit my thirties, I started having issues with my spine, my pancreas, and my kidneys. Percocet is the only therapy out there that keeps me from wanting to die. My blood is thinner, and I have issues, as stated, with my pancreas and stomach, so I cannot take OTC drugs, they make me sick. Very sick. But, of course, no one believes that until they see what happens to me. It's kind of a living hell. I say if we can help, help."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone "I think it's ridiculous that Uncle Sam would attempt to limit the use of this drug simply because people may form an addiction to it. Percocet is really a lifesaver because it's probably the only drug available to control chronic pain for those that suffer through it. It's like too many things these days where people will figure out a way to abuse something and then the powers that be limit it or completely outlaw its manufacture and use for those that rely so heavily on it. Why should the innocent suffer simply because another person intentionally puts something in their bodies that isn't good for them?"

Acetaminophen / oxycodone "After a few on-the-job injuries, 2 lumbar spine surgeries & 7, (yes, I said 7), cervical spine surgeries over 15 years, I have tried every narcotic & non-narcotic pain reliever going. I am in constant pain since 2 of the neck surgeries were failures! My pain management Dr. is a saint in letting me play guinea pig since I wanted less narcotics. After almost 20 years of 24/7 documented pain & surgeries, Endocet does the best job ever! (Percocet is aces but who can afford it!). I’ve been on 10/325mg Endocet for almost 15 years now and haven’t needed anything stronger, nor have I needed to ask for any more than my normal 150 quantity. If the pain gets unbearable, I am to take 2 every 4 hours, which works pretty well for me. Not many side effects, every 2nd or 3rd Rx I may get ‘the itchies’ an hour after taking them, it sucks but does go away. Thank you for Endocet 10/325."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone "I suffer from severe neuropathy from my diabetes and have been on several pain medicines in the past. The last one was Lortab 10/500mg and did not take away all my pain. I was hurting after 3 hours of taking it. I was put on Percocet 10/325 by my doctor and I could not believe what a difference it has made in my life. I feel like I have my quality of life back. I can get around better and do not stay in bed most of the day from the pain. I was so depressed from being in so much pain. Now I am up and moving around better than I have in 2 years. I thank God my doctor has taken the time to listen to me and finally put me on something that works. He left me on the Lortab as well for breakthrough pain medicine but I have not had to use it."

"I've been taking oxycodone 5 mg for 13 years. For pain from a car accident and other medical conditions. Anyways, I normally go to CVS to get my prescription filled. The pills are normally marked with a 512, and they are white and round, but now when I go to CVS, the same one that I have been using for years, I always get the excuse, "Sorry, sir, we don't have enough to honor the prescription" or "Sorry, sir, we have to order them, and it will be a few days." I started going to a MA-PA pharmacy across the street, they do give me a rough time about filling a prescription 2 to 4 days early, and they always have the medications I need. But the pills I get from them have an ALV 196. When I take them, they do not give me the relief I would get from the other oxy pills that have 512 on them. I thought they were all the same thing? Am I wrong? I appreciate any feedback. Also, feedback from anyone if they have similar issues with CVS giving you excuses about not having your pain meds."

Acetaminophen / oxycodone "I have arthritis in most joints, especially in spine, degenerative disc disease & now spondylolisthesis (vertebrae slipping onto next vertebrae - bone against bone). MD just upped my Opana from 10 to 20 mg, 5mg Xanax 3x a day to calm me (no change) & switched from Oxy IR 10mg 6-8 hrs to Percocet 7.5 6-8 hrs due to pain increase. What a difference! I feel able to do the things I like/need to do. Advice to anyone taking narcotics - do NOT mix with alcohol - you'll overdose, don't take more than directions - you'll just build tolerance & they won't work. If your medicine stops working as mine did, don't take more, tell your Doc, a different combination can change everything!"

Acetaminophen / oxycodone "I have been on Percocet for 16 years. I started out with low-grade Vicodin. I have taken the name brand with no problems. When they switched me to generic, I had some problems with the way they affected me, they didn't seem to work as well. But when they switched the generic brand to another generic brand, I had an upset stomach and a very bad rash. Sometimes you have to take the name brand instead of generics, even though they say the generics are the same, they are not. I could tell the difference, but I have tried OxyContin and had a very bad itching and a rash, so I guess I'm stuck on them. I have days I take more than I'm supposed to in the morning and do without later, but the pain is so bad it's almost suicidal."

"Started going to Walgreens for medicine because it's preferred by my insurance. I was getting acetaminophen with oxycodone through CVS, but a different brand other than Mallinckrodt, and they were working halfway decent. These from Mallinckrodt with 10/325 and M523 on the other side are like taking a placebo. It takes more than what I was taking, and I was starting to lower my dose down for breakthrough pain. I'm not getting as much pain relief as I was before on the other brand that was white and round carried by CVS. I've had a bilateral mastectomy for breast cancer with complications that left me in chronic pain. Then I got thyroid cancer that required thyroid removal, which increased my pain. I've had problems breathing, with feeling like my throat is closing. I thought it was just me until I came here. Report it to the FDA!"

Acetaminophen / oxycodone "I have many spine health issues and, as a result, experience the joys of chronic back pain. This medicine works well for moderate pain for me. I did build up a tolerance for it pretty quickly, however, which is typical for any pain medicine. Bad side effects I experienced were debilitating nausea and hot flashes when it was taken on an empty stomach. Also, the all-over 'itchies' when I first started taking the medicine. Both of these can be prevented by eating with the medicine and taking an antihistamine with it."

"I've been taking acetaminophen with oxycodone 10/325 for the last 10 years for my chronic condition, and these Camber-made pills seem to have half of the oxycodone in them since I have to take more to achieve the relief I've received from other generic brands. Also, having taken more, it's made me more restless than relieved, and it's completely thrown my managed consumption amount, so I hope I have enough for the entire month. Now I'm stuck with these until my next fill!!"
