Percocet (acetaminophen / oxycodone): "short-term OK for pain would not want to take long term I am a cancer survivor and my most of my body hurts all the time I have yet to find a pain medicine that is safe and effective and non-addictive that helps with this side effect of massive amounts of chemo it's been 6 years and I've been living in pain everyday I understand why Colorado and California legalize marijuana I don't smoke pot I used to. but if someone comes over with a joint I may take a hit and I will say that marijuana does help the pain I would not want to use as a recreational drug but it does help the pain better than any opiate that I've ever taken"

Percocet 10/325 (acetaminophen / oxycodone): "I am 68. I have pain in my back and legs every day which is worsened by standing or walking, so I sit almost all the time in my recliner. I go to a pain clinic and have tried Morphine, Fentanyl, and Dilaudid. None of these helped. In fact, at higher dosages they actually made the pain unbearable. Percocet is the only med that works for me, and when I first took it I felt like it was a miracle. I am prescribed Percocet 5x a day, Tizadine for spasms and Tramadol for breakthrough pain. I can actually garden outside again and have once again become active. I jjust hope I don't develop a tolerance because the doctor said this is as high as I can go, and I don't know where else I could turn. Percocet has truly given me my life back!"

Percocet 5/325 (acetaminophen / oxycodone): "I have had back pain for many years and percocet has helped but has grown weeker over the years. I've asked for a higher dose but no. The Dr are afraid of treating their patients according due to being put under the radar.. But I say! If you're treating the symptoms and the patient why do you have to worry?"

Percocet 10/325 (acetaminophen / oxycodone): "I have chronic pain and for the last 10 years have tried all pain meds and the ONLY one that works is 10MG percs. I take about 5 a day and I can work full time and live my life as it lowers the pain to about a 5. I just pray that they leave PM doctors alone with this new push to get rid of opiates. I need them!"

Primlev (acetaminophen / oxycodone): "After being on hydrocodone for a few years, I was switched to Primlev. I have had no side effects at all and it helps with my chronic pain much more than hydrocodone, and I like the fact that it has only 300mg of acetaminophen. I do find that I need to take it more like every 4-5 hours instead of every 6 hours, but I've read that the effects do begin to wear off after 3.5-5 hours. Overall I consider this medication a godsend"

Percocet (acetaminophen / oxycodone): "I have been on Percocet for 16 years I started out with low-grade Vicodin I have taken name brand with no problems when they switch me to generic I had some problems with the way they affected me they didn't seem to work as good but when they switch the generic brand to another generic brand I had an upset stomach and a very bad rash sometimes you have to take the name brand instead of generics even though they say the generics are the same they are not I could tell the difference but I have tried Oxycontin and had a very bad itching and a rash so I guess I'm stuck on then I have days I take more than I'm supposed to in the morning and do with out later but the pain is so bad it's almost suicidal"

Percocet 7.5/325 (acetaminophen / oxycodone): "I take them for back pain, and for a acdf surgery. I take them 4 times a day and they are great. But your body will build up a tolerance over time. But until then they work so good! Takes some time to kick in though. And will make you constipated. But for pain the side effects are worth it!"

Percocet 10/325 (acetaminophen / oxycodone): "I've had chronic cluster headaches for 40 years. I have tried just about every medication recommended for headaches. The only thing that works is some type of narcotic pain medication even though the use of these for headaches is definitely not recommended. But, for me that's the only thing that works. I'd rate this as a 10 for that purpose. I've been taking it for other pain the past three months; a badly broken lower leg and four broken ribs that happened as the leg was almost healed. This drug worked very for the leg, but not nearly as well for the ribs. I'd rate it as a 9 for the leg, but only a 5 or 6 for the ribs. I can immobilize the leg fairly well, but there's no way to do that with the ribs."

Roxicet (acetaminophen / oxycodone): "Thank you for inventing this drug!!!! I was in so much pain, I truly wanted to end my life, until my doctor finally prescribed this! I have a whole new lease on life now. My only worry is, he's worried he will have to take me off it soon because his clinic doesn't want to be in bad standing for prescribing it. That would be just awful if he stops my prescription."

Percocet (acetaminophen / oxycodone): "My experience was that this was the only medicine that helped severe pelvic pain. I started on low dose but had to take two. Two months in my doctor agreed to raise the dose to 10mg/325 ....... I was worried about the amount of tylenol. Long story short had hysterectomy few months later. Took 2 months to wean myself off by tapering. Total I was on percocet 7 months."
