For Overactive Bladder "This med is so helpful for overactive bladder, and unlike some OAB meds, this one does not cause extreme dry eye and dry mouth. Also, I have not noticed any other side effects. Because it is so horribly expensive, I just take a pill every other day, but even that is helping a lot, especially at night. Now, instead of having to 'go' every 1.5 hours, I only have to get up twice a night, which is WONDERFUL! I wish Congress would quit bickering amongst themselves like a bunch of silly school kids and tackle exorbitant drug prices."

For Overactive Bladder "Usually reliable - lasts for approximately 7 hours - does NOT stop urinary leaking if alcohol has been consumed. Also I have experienced brain fog & short-term memory confusion & loss! Also caused severe dry eye. Still prefer to use this drug more than others in its class."

For Overactive Bladder "2 months on Gemtesa, I was having painful urination, extremely dry skin and eyes. All my fingertips got knife-like cuts on them and hurt so bad I had to buy special cream for them and wear gloves at night. My eyes became so dry that when I tried to blink, my eyelids stuck to my eyeballs. I got styes on all 4 eyelids. Right eye is really painful. Medicated eye drops and ointment are not resolving the styes. I quit taking Gemtesa 2 months after I started taking it when the dry eyes became unbearable and styes started appearing, plus the painful urination was scaring me. I did not want to have to deal with UTIs also! Too costly, and I was not informed of a discount program and paid for a 90-day supply before I realized how intolerable the side effects were! The least they can do is reimburse me for the 90-day supply. I had to pay 2 doctors and buy 2 kinds of drops and 1 ointment, and now I have to see another eye doctor about the styes that aren't going away, the inability to see and burning eyes."
