Trospium for Urinary Frequency "I started taking Sanctura a few months ago and I absolutely love it! I was urinating every 45 minutes. Since I've been taking it, I can now go for 3 hours at a shot, what a difference. The sleepiness of the pill went away after about a week of being on it. The dry mouth isn't bad. The pill has helped me wonderfully! I am so glad I take it."

Trospium for Urinary Frequency "I am only 39 years old, and having to go constantly after drinking water or Pepsi. I feel like I can't go shopping or anywhere without having to worry about it. I tried five different pills, and this was by far the best. The only side effect I have is a dry mouth, but it's not that bad. It comes and goes, and it's not so bothersome. This is the one I'm on now, and I will stay on it. The one thing I don't like is that you have to take it one hour before breakfast. Sometimes it's hard for me to wait that long before I can eat - especially if I forget to take my pill, then have to wait even longer to eat."

For Urinary Incontinence "This medicine was a lifesaver for me! After nearly 20 years of running to the bathroom and dealing with leakage (frequency, urgency, and mixed incontinence) since my 20s, I am free! I tried every natural therapy I could, to no avail. I went under extensive testing years ago by a urologist only to be told there is nothing wrong with me. I tried eliminating foods and alcohol. I tried acupuncture, various supplements, alternative doctors. Nothing worked. Myrbetriq helped but made me extremely constipated. The only side effect I have with Trospium is a minor dry throat, but it is tolerable even as a teacher. I just keep some water or tea by me. I'm free!!"

For Urinary Incontinence "Even faithfully doing my pelvic floor and other exercises to maintain my pelvic floor, 3 full-term babies and many miscarriages plus hypermobility, it’s a losing battle. I was prescribed Trospium by a urologist 15 months ago. I was experiencing urgency when standing up from sitting, even for a short time, as if my bladder plug had been pulled. This meant day and night I had no control over my bladder voiding, even just 12 meters from downstairs or upstairs toilets - from a damp leg to sodden pad and clothes and a wet floor. Total confidence killer. Trospium has helped so much, but the dry mouth side effect has been very difficult. I also find I now HAVE to push several times to empty my bladder for fear of UTI. If I miss just one day, I void completely again."

For Overactive Bladder "Works well for my OAB using only 20 mg once daily (can be taken twice daily), nearly as effective as Gemtesa (which is the most effective OAB medication I've ever used, just completely unaffordable). Dry mouth and sore throat are mild to moderate, which is better than Vesicare, tolterodine, solifenacin, and oxybutynin, but not as mild as Myrbetriq (which provided almost no OAB symptom relief for me) or Gemtesa (works great for me)."

For Urinary Incontinence "Trospium has worked well for me over the last couple of years. It does the job for incontinence and does not give me the terrible mental effect I had with oxybutynin. It does give me severe dry mouth, which had the added side effect of giving me severe gum problems noted by my dental hygienist. But that was resolved by taking Pilocarpine (Salagen) at 5mg. My dry mouth disappeared, and my hygienist said my gums looked much better at the next checkup. So, Trospium is still a winner for me!"

For Urinary Incontinence "This pill has helped with leakage, but the dry eyes and mouth have gotten worse. I have developed a thrush from the over-dry mouth and think I'm going to have to go off this pill."
