For Schizophrenia "I took risperidone in 2001 and had weight gain and sexual dysfunction. I changed to olanzapine, and I was able to finish my college degree in engineering. The doctor changed me to aripiprazole, but it did not work for me. For about 10 years, I have been taking Invega. I feel good, and my head is clear. I am able to maintain a healthy weight that is managed with physical activity. I have no sexual dysfunction, but I lack motivation and feel flat."

For Schizoaffective Disorder "So far, I have to say my experience with Invega has been great. The only setback is the weight gain, which is a common side effect of most antipsychotics. I find my psychosis is gone, clear thinking, more positive attitude. I take this along with my lithium and Zoloft. I've found I'm excited to work and function in society."
