"This medication works great without nasty side effects. Recently, I asked my doctor to change my dose from every 6 hours to every 4 hours. Cause the immediate release oxycodone was not lasting a full 6 hours for me. So now, if I need to, I can take it more frequently. I have MS and severe nerve damage in my lower back and neuropathy in my legs, which is all very debilitating. But I've been able to handle more activity with 5 mg oxycodone every 4 hrs."

"I have taken oxycodone on and off for 20 years. What I’ve noticed with my latest prescription of 10 mg oxycodone 4 to 6 times a day is drowsiness. I recall, in the past, that I would always get a bit of a lift from oxycodone. So, I don’t understand this drowsiness. The pain relief is there, but I miss the boost that would get me going."

"Was born with birth defects in my spine. Several surgeries starting at the age of 15 years old have created even more complications. Now, at 74 years old, I depend on prescription pain medication to help provide a reasonable quality of life. I've been prescribed different formulations of oxycodone for years. This can be a wonderful pain medication when taken properly as prescribed. Over the years, the strength of these products has been reduced due to media causing a negative stigma. Nevertheless, when you have a need to control your pain levels, it is a private matter. Normally dispensed Mallinckrodt oxycodone tablets 30mg. Activas was always the best but is no longer available. My point is you count on these medications to work. Today was dispensed Roads, these not only don't provide any relief, they make me feel kind of sick. I go to a lot of effort seeing a PM doctor at $300.00 a month. Oxycontin removed from formulary being one of the best. KVK is not helpful, the FDA needs to look into this."

"Stuff works wonders... in the beginning that is. When you first start taking it, you feel like Sunset Superman. You feel like you can leap tall buildings in a single bound. Stop trains in their tracks with the palm of your hand. Run a cross-country marathon in record time. Play all 48 minutes of every game of a 7-game NBA Finals that comes down to you making a game-winning shot at the buzzer. Hop in the ring with Mike Tyson in his prime and destroy him. You feel like a mighty Titan. You feel untouchable and unstoppable all in one. You feel godly until you reach the point where its potency runs out. When this happens you need a stronger dose, and then finally you need more and more of this stronger dose. You get addicted, pain creeps back unless you are able to convince the Dr. to keep upping strength and dosage, which we all know won't happen. You are now addicted, in pain and forced to buy overpriced in the street if you can find it. It's a highly addictive wonder drug."

"I have been using it for 12 years. I have ankylosing spondylitis, and the Mallinckrodt brand always seemed to help the best, but I wanted to comment on what someone else had stated. The quality of all the brands seems to have gotten worse, but the Rhodes brand is pure trash and always has been! Yes, oxycodone has been a godsend for me, just remember that not all generics are created equal!"
