For Opioid-Induced Constipation "I began using Symproic 2 years ago for OIC. I have been on Hydrocodone for 30 years due to CRPS. Symproic was a true life saver, no adverse reactions... just normal BM after taking the medication as prescribed. Now the insurance company has changed to Movantik as what they want me to get... no idea why... have to see how it works but am a little setback reading the reviews on it."

For Opioid-Induced Constipation "I've been on buprenorphine for years for chronic pain due to various conditions, and the older I get, the more constipated I am. I didn't want to be on another Rx, so I tried everything else first. I had an Rx for senna, but you're not supposed to take it long term. Nothing worked, and I only had a BM once a week, and they were painful, hard, STUCK, so bad I couldn't eat, would get nauseous and vomit, bloated and miserable. My doctor RX'd Movantik, but my insurance wouldn't cover it, even with prior authority. The denial letter said I have to fail Symproic first, which doc RX'd next. It was denied, but after another PA, it was covered. I was excited to finally get relief! NOPE! Nothing 'til day 5, and it was the same hard, painful, SHARP, hemorrhoid-inducing, not fully evacuated BM. Also, no side effects at all! NOTE: I am 235 lbs, 5'7', female. I'm on MN Medicaid. My meds are buprenorphine, gabapentin, celecoxib, methotrexate, folic acid, Humira, cetirizine, Advair, albuterol, ondansetron, baby aspirin."

For Opioid-Induced Constipation "The first few times I took my free samples, it worked well. The 4th, 5th, and so on, it wasn't strong enough. Insurance paid for Relistor, 3 pills, 1x a day. 1st and 2nd time it worked if I used an enema. After the 1st week, I had to increase the dosage to 5 - 150 mg pills, along with Linzess during the day. Then, when I feel the gurgling in my gut, I have to do a Fleet warm enema to stimulate the BM."

For Opioid-Induced Constipation "I have found it if you are on methadone after coming off of pain-relieving drugs, that Movantic will bring you to a nightmare world, but if you stick with Symproic and give it a chance depending on how high your dosages of methadone are, it does work for me. If you look on the MOV pages, take a deep dive on them, and they fully admit that in their own study not a single person taking methadone did not go through withdrawal after taking a MOV."

For Opioid-Induced Constipation "I am on methadone 29 mgs. I'm on a detox from methadone. I come down 2 mgs every month, but I've been on it since 2016, and in 2022 I started with really bad constipation. Since then, I've tried Miralax, lactulose, Linzess, senna, mag citrate, anything over the counter, and laxatives prescribed. My gastro prescribed Movantik, but after reading reviews specifically pertaining to methadone and Movantik, I read horror stories and was scared to try, so I did more research and came across Symproic. I took it at 5 pm tonight, and an hour later I went and I've gone 4 more times since. So far, working great, no complaints. I will check in after using a while and see if I'm still happy, but 10/10 for me now. No withdrawal symptoms whatsoever. No pain, but can definitely feel movement in my stomach when it starts working!"

For Opioid-Induced Constipation "It works fine. I am having to take it longer than anticipated. Concurrently, continuing high-fiber diet and probiotic diet. Really helped bloating and gas."

For Opioid-Induced Constipation "Symproic worked too well years ago, but now it’s barely working along with laxatives. I don’t know where I go from here. It’s scary."
