Levocetirizine for Allergies "I got insanely dizzy (where I couldn't walk in a straight line for much of the day), had horrible anxiety and depression, and couldn't sleep at night. I would wake up several times a night having intense panic attacks, and during the day would feel unreal (zombie-like and insane headaches). It did what it was supposed to and kept my rash under control, but was not really worth the side effects."

Levocetirizine for Allergies "I had been taking Allegra and Nasonex for years, but still did not have good control over my allergies and asthma. I used Benadryl as needed when my two prescription medicines were not enough. The pulmonologist told me that Benadryl has an intense drying effect in your body and that it makes your mucus more viscous (thicker). Within 2 days of starting Xyzal (and stopping Benadryl), I definitely had thinned mucus and my skin was much less dry. My asthma was much better controlled and I had less sensitivity to environmental triggers. Unfortunately, I also started experiencing moderate-to-severe headaches along with a feeling of depression/anxiety. Without Xyzal, I get pneumonia, with it, I feel crazy. Works, but bad side effects."

Levocetirizine for Allergies "I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. Kept me up, maniacally freaking out, until 4 a.m. Followed by extreme nightmares and tossing and turning. My head felt like it was going to explode. I literally almost went to the hospital. Terrifying."

Levocetirizine for Allergies "Tried Xyzal for the first time last week. I noticed I was a little groggy, which I've come to expect from most antihistamines. After taking it for 4 days, I have become an absolute mess. Very irritable, moody, crying, and angry. Just generally feel like I'm losing my mind. My 5-year-old daughter had the same reaction. And it didn't even help with the sneezing, runny nose, or watery eyes. In fact, it's given me a headache on top of making me feel insane along with all the allergy symptoms. Back to Claritin for us."

Levocetirizine for Allergies "The reviews are true!!! I normally take 12-hour Allegra-D (as needed). When I took this, I immediately felt worse, my nose wouldn't stop running, I got very hot (red), and I was coughing almost like it made it worse. I felt it kick in and got extremely heavy. My nose felt like I was at the bottom of a pool, swollen, my eyes were puffy, my vision was impaired, I had horrible nightmares, and I barely woke up when my alarm went off. I felt worse than when I went to bed!!! Fatigued all day, bloated, headaches, swollen nose, and massive sinus pressure when I looked down at work. It felt like my senses were numb and I wasn't human. Everything everyone listed negative is true. I will NEVER take it again, and I'm shocked it's still available OTC. Do NOT waste your money, it's total fraud."

Levocetirizine for Allergies "I feel absolutely horrible. I ran out of Zyrtec, my son takes this, so I figured I'd try it. On day two, I feel a combination of having a concussion and a hangover all at one time. I'm fatigued, dizzy, and have a headache. This does not include the pressure I feel in my sinuses. I feel absolutely horrible. I'm done, I won't take this again. I'm honestly not even sure the FDA should have approved this drug."

Levocetirizine for Allergies "I took Xyzal last night for the first time. I have awoken with the left side of my nasal passages blocked and a headache that feels like a benzo hangover. If I'm going to feel this way the morning after, I better have had fun the night before. 1/10 I will never take this again even though it was free."

Levocetirizine for Allergic Rhinitis "This drug made me completely crazy. I started having bad anxiety, then anger and depression. Very bad depression. Horrible headache and fatigue. I lashed out at a coworker and got in trouble. What a disaster. Never again. Going back to Zyrtec."

Levocetirizine for Urticaria "Within two days of starting this drug, my delayed pressure urticaria (DPU) came under control. It controls it so far to about the 95% level. I had a couple of major flare-ups the first day I took it, but I suspect the levels had not built up in my blood yet. I have had one headache, but unknown if this drug caused it. My allergies are also under control. The urticaria still appears a little, but much less in size, scope, and no itching or raised welts. No feelings of tiredness for me, in fact, it kind of speeds me up. I'm amazed that a cousin of Zyrtec can do so much more. Zyrtec didn't touch the hives before, even when taking up to triple the normal daily dose. If you have hives, give it a try."

For Allergies "I took the med levocetirizine since I have allergies. I took it for 3 days straight but stopped since I was not feeling well. Went two days without it and then took it again because my allergies were still bothering me. I woke up the next morning after taking it and realized I cannot smell or taste anything, and my nose and headache pain for work. It has got to be this medicine. I will not take it again."

Levocetirizine for Allergic Rhinitis "OMG, worst ever. I stocked up using all of the $5.00 off coupons, and what a waste of money. I realize this year is a double dose of pollen, but this medicine didn't help. Gave me bad headaches, and I felt listless and tired."

For Allergies "With frightening ease, levocetirizine gave me the most horrible side effects I've ever experienced from taking any drug, ever. It didn't suppress my allergies, and it gave me a headache like the one I had the days prior to being hospitalized with meningitis. I took it in the morning, being tired of cetirizine also doing nothing to help me. Typing this on the morning of day two, and I still feel awful. Yesterday was way hellish. Aforementioned headache, very dizzy, weak muscles, skin hurt when pressured, couldn't eat (still struggling to eat), eyes hurt, and while I didn't have an actual fever, I was absolutely burning (and yet cold at the same time). I got up every 45 minutes or so to splash cold water on my face, ears, and neck. Dry mouth, loss of taste, depressed, my spine still hurts. Nose running like a faucet all day, I sneezed so much it started to hurt my ribs. This is suffering in a pill. There. I'd give this a -10, but I can't."

For Allergies "I am taking levocetirizine, been taking it for 1 month. My doctor told me to take it in the morning. I can't even get out of bed, I'm feeling more like a zombie, dizzy all day, dry mouth, head hurts, and feeling depressed. I don't like the way I have been feeling, so I stopped taking it as of today, July 13, 19, going to see my doctor Monday morning."

Levocetirizine for Allergies "Seemed to work pretty decently for my allergies, but the sleepiness was too much to handle. I felt really weird and out of it on just half a pill. I had pretty bad headaches too."

Levocetirizine for Allergies "Took Xyzal for allergies, within 1 1/2 hours seeing spots in eyes, hard to breathe, heart racing, felt panicky and had a headache. Sneezing had stopped, but still had a runny nose. Made me feel crazy and exhausted. Scary!!"
