Lemborexant for Insomnia "Took this for several months and tried to like it. I took 5 mg and 10 mg. It WILL put you to sleep at 10 mg, BUT the realistic nightmares will be part of the “sleep.” Also, sleep paralysis is a side effect that I experienced. Can’t move for a few seconds when awake. The dreams (nightmares) are VERY vivid, and that’s the reason I can no longer take this medication. I also think it might cause frequent urinating (6 times per night)."

Lemborexant for Insomnia "Oh man, where do I start? This drug was a lifesaver at first. I had gone through all the others, and this was the first one that I felt had no side effects and did not cause dependency. Fast forward a few months. I am always tired despite sleeping most of the night. The sleep paralysis has made me dread bedtime. I have very vivid dreams and talk in my sleep. I even sleepwalked once and almost burned the place down, although to be fair, I drank tequila that day, but I have never sleepwalked before. I don't know how I put the fire out because I have no recollection of the night except the evidence the following day. I have constant nausea and headaches during the day. I move like a sloth. My high energy is no more. I have my depression under control, this is the only new thing I have in my meds. I am going to stop taking it for a few weeks and see if I improve. I will report back. It's been two days already, and I feel better. Keep your heads up. It is what it is."

Lemborexant for Insomnia "Worked quite well, but the sleep paralysis was not worth it. I felt like I was suffocating one day I took the medication. I got great sleep. It came at a price. Trying other medicines to see if the sleep paralysis is still an issue."

Lemborexant for Insomnia "Been taking for 4 weeks, my sleep is back on track, and I don't get the morning grogginess that Lunesta and Ambien are famous for. I do understand why so many fear or don't like this medication. If you have a history of sleep paralysis, think TWICE before taking."

Lemborexant "The first night of Dayvigo, nothing happened. The second night was not good. I had a very fast reaction and experienced sleep paralysis. It was frightening. I am afraid to try it again. I'm going to wait for a few days and then talk to my sleep doctor and see if she has any suggestions."

For Insomnia "I've had chronic insomnia for nearly 10 years-and have taken benzos quite consistently. I've now taken this medication for about 5 days, and I'm almost afraid to confess that this is a life changer. I take the pill, and about 30 min later I notice I'm drifting to sleep. The deepest sleep, and vivid dreams. I wear an Oura ring and am amazed at the improvement in my sleep. Not only is my sleep typically less than 6.5 hours because of repeated wake-ups, but also the quality of my sleep tends to be very poor. My sleep is now consistently very deep-and I wake up feeling so refreshed. I'm on 5 mg. This is certainly not for everyone, as I'm sure vivid dreams can be disconcerting. Note I also had sleep paralysis one night, but that does not bother me. That said, it can be a very scary experience if you have not experienced it before."

For Insomnia "Lemborexant has been a game changer for me. I’ve been on it now for almost 2 years. I have been on so many different kinds of sleeping medication’s over the last decade. Each one having gained a tolerance too and on to the next pill. Lemborexant though hasn’t been like that in any way. It is working for me as it did on day 1! Having been on the medication for almost 2 years has also taught me some things. Some advice… in order to get a good effect i need to wind down! If i am feeling anxious or energetic i do not take it! If i do take it when feeling this way i go directly into sleep paralysis! And yes it can be very intense and frightening and i can see why so many people don’t like this medication. But in my experience, if i am aware of how i am feeling and work with my body to at least sit down and relax before going to sleep, it works perfectly! This medication is strong… it will put me to sleep standing up, be careful."

Lemborexant for Insomnia "I was so excited to take this drug. I have struggled with insomnia since I was a child. Have taken OTC, melatonin, and was on Zopiclone for a few years. Doctor gave me 12 days' worth of this. I only lasted through one, and the rest went to the pharmacist for disposal. Within 20 minutes of taking the drug, my eyes felt heavy, so I closed them to go to sleep and was IMMEDIATELY overtaken with brain zaps that only got heavier the longer I kept my eyes closed. Then came the sleep paralysis! Something I had never experienced in my life, and if it wasn’t for the reviews here, I would have had no idea what the hell was happening to my body. I immediately took myself to the bathroom once I could move to throw up this poison. Thank God I had a panic attack medication to calm me down, or it would have sent me to the ER. Worst medication experience ever. Never again!"

Lemborexant for Insomnia "I've had the worst insomnia for 14 years. I'm talking about sleeping 3 hours every few days at best. I've tried everything. My doctor had me try 'this new drug' Dayvigo. My tolerance for meds is high after 14 years, and let me tell you, I only took 5 mg of Dayvigo, and I wanted to die. It didn't help me sleep. Instead, I had sleep paralysis for 3 hours where all my nerves were on fire, it felt like lightning was going off in my brain. I was (internally) screaming for my husband but paralyzed. I thought I was going to have a stroke or heart attack and die. I was in so much pain that even my teeth hurt. The next day, I felt wretched and depressed and scared. I can't properly put into words just how awful what happened to me was. Please don't take this drug. Doctors should do their research before prescribing such a new untested drug."

Lemborexant for Insomnia "This drug gives you sleep paralysis and nightmares and no sleep at all. 5 mg is enough to make you suffer all night. You literally cannot move, and at the same time, you are not asleep. Like you're in a coma with night terrors. They are horrible nightmares that will have you so horrified you will never take this drug again. I've been on Silenor, which did nothing. Trazodone, which gave me a headache and stuffy nose. Nothing prepared me for the physical and mental anguish after a 5 mg pill. Not sleeping all night is better than using this drug. Zopiclone still works best for me. The doctor wanted to change it up a little, but do not take this if you are not ready to star in your own horror movie where you are the one being scared the hell out of. You have been warned!"

Lemborexant for Insomnia "Used Sublinox, which works great. Doctor recommended Dayvigo. Gave it a try and thought it was the end of me. Sleep paralysis, night terrors, shaking intensely. Be very careful."

Lemborexant for Insomnia "Dr. prescribed 10 mg, but I cut it in half to 5 mg, and that made me very tired very fast. However, day 1 and 2, intense and disturbing dreams, day 3, a nightmare, so I stopped taking the product for a couple of days. Last night I tried once more, and for the first time, experienced sleep paralysis - that was a terrifying experience. I could not get my eyes open! That's it for me, no more Dayvigo. Advil PM has worked in the past, so I’ll go back to those."
