Ixekizumab "I’ve got a peripheral form of ankylosing spondylitis that causes inflammation in my connective tissue and sensitizes me to different foods. Within two weeks of the first dose, my pain and swelling were much reduced, and I haven’t developed a new food allergy in the 18 months I’ve been on this medication. My quality of life was headed to rock bottom before I started Taltz, and now I can function again! Here’s hoping this continues to work for a good long time..."

Ixekizumab "Took 4 doses (2 first month, 1 per next 2 months). I feel worse; enthesitis is worse. I can barely walk. Every joint hurts, and nerves and skin burn. I feel lousier than I felt before the first injection. I am angry."

"After 6 doses of Taltz injection, I am suffering from severe side effects while hoping and praying this biologic would help me and relieve my horrendous arthritis pain. No, I am worse. Everything hurts: my joints-knees, ankles, hips, shoulders, wrists, hands, and my feet, ankles are in excruciating pain all day. I can hardly walk. Legs, ankles, feet swollen. I can go on and on. Feel so sick."

Ixekizumab "I am now on my 3rd dose of Taltz. My loading dose was 160mg (two 80mg pens, injected in both thighs) which I had injection site reactions oddly 2 weeks later. My 2nd dose (80 mg injected in my abdomen) I also had injection site reaction but happened pretty immediately. None of them were painful just tender to the touch for a couple days. I took my 3rd injection yesterday (80mg injected into thigh). The only side effects I experienced were 1-2 days after injection I kind of felt generally unwell sort of like when you are coming down with the common cold (body aches, tiredness, stuffy nose). After that I have been fine and can tell I am starting to feel better. I know it will take some time to see full results and look forward to that."
