For Pain "Suffering with chronic pain from debilitating spinal injuries, I was always prescribed Acetaminophen-containing hydrocodone. I was always getting bad acid reflux and digestive problems. I would explain this to my original pain management Dr., and he would switch me from Vicodin to Percocet. The constant stomach issues continued. I switched to a new Pain Dr. I told him I was feeling fatigue and constant acid reflux when taking my pain medicines. He suggested trying a time-released pain medicine with no acetaminophen. He felt I was taking too much Acetaminophen and perhaps too many pills, period (4 pills a day). He suggested trying Zohydro. I am forever grateful I switched. Great relief of back pain and stomach problems. 10 stars."

For Pain "I find that this medication is unable to relieve my severe back and neck pain. Not only that, I now have severe migraines with the use of Hysingla. I feel that more research was needed before releasing it. I cannot handle the increased pain which it has caused, along with dizziness and fatigue."

For Pain "This has been the most costly, ineffective, pain-causing nightmare of my life! Not only did my insurance company deny its use, it actually caused more musculoskeletal pain than I already have! My joints feel like they have all been run over by a truck! The side effects are horrible! I only just figured out today, after being on this medication for the past 3 weeks, that the actual medication was making my pain worse! I have so much joint pain that I can barely get out of bed, not to mention the constant headache and severe fatigue! I will definitely not continue this medication, in fact, as of today, I am done and am going back to OxyContin. It may have a terrible reputation for being addictive, but at least no side effects!"

For Pain "I have 3 herniated discs, spinal stenosis, and osteoarthritis. I suffer from constant pain every day. I've been on Norco 10/325 4x a day for 3 years now and never abused my medication. A few months ago, my doctor had me try Hysingla ER 40 mg. This medication only lasts about 17 hours and gave me about 30-40% relief with random breakthrough pain. Plus, I felt lethargic the entire day, nauseous, constipated, anxious, and excessive yawning. After putting up with it for two months, I talked with my doctor, and he switched me back to the Norco. So disappointed. I had high hopes for this medication since it was one pill every 24 hours. It just does not work as promised and is expensive."

For Pain "I never received much relief from hydrocodone. Then along came Zohydro - I was quite skeptical at first due to the fact I had quite a high tolerance to oxy, but I have actually been quite pleased. It's for sure a few steps down from the oxy I was on, but, as has already been mentioned, it's not a roller coaster ride you get with a lot of other pain meds. Only sides thus far have been dehydration, fatigue, and very vivid dreams - I wake up really freaked out by how real they seem at times. At first, I thought it was due to other things I was taking, but I have since ruled them out, so it's definitely the Zohydro. Now I wait until I am totally awake before I take my first dose. I do believe that 12 hours of relief is a bit of a stretch and that 9 hours is closer to the length of relief it provides, and I'm on the 50's. I do highly recommend."
