For COPD "I wanted to try Trelegy Ellipta after 2 years of Anoro. I got a 4-week sample from my doctor. My first few days of using it, I felt I had better breathing, but after 3 weeks of use, it lost its effectiveness. The biggest problem I have had with this inhaler is nearly constant moderate hoarseness and laryngitis. I can't take it anymore because my job requires speaking. I thought it would be a temporary side effect, but now I will return to the Anoro. Very disappointed."

For COPD "Began using Trelegy a month ago. Within a week, I noticed a difference in my breathing - no longer shortness of breath when going up and down stairs. Used to have to use my emergency inhaler 2-3 times a day - that immediately changed - have only needed it a few times a week, if that. I've been on oxygen 24/7 for the past 2 years, recently, I haven’t needed it at rest since my O2 stats are now over 90. Have had a few side effects such as headaches and a raspy voice, however, I can deal with them - very happy to be experiencing results! Only $10 for 12 months co-pay with a coupon on their site!"

For Asthma "I was prescribed 1 treatment a day. After the third treatment, I became very hoarse. I felt like my head was stopped up like never before. My throat felt closed up, my lungs as well. Trouble breathing. Rash on my side. Constipation. It’s now 4 days after the last treatment, and I’m still having trouble with my throat and voice. This drug was given to me from the doctor’s office. Sample."

For COPD "Trelegy Ellipta has been an absolute game changer for me. I've only been taking it for a month but have had zero side effects besides the occasional raspy voice. Prior to my doctor prescribing this, I was taking Spiriva daily, going through an albuterol inhaler a week, having twice a day nebulizer treatments, and once a month prednisone yet still could not walk to the mailbox without gasping for air and stopping. I feel like my old self again. I don't panic and carry my inhaler into every room with me (actually, I have only used it once in the last month) and can walk anywhere without struggling at all. I went hiking with my husband last weekend and moved like my old self. Absolute game changer and wish I would've tried it years ago."

For Asthma "I’ve been on Trelegy for almost 2 years now, and it’s my favorite inhaler I’ve been on. If I don’t take it for a day or two, I definitely notice a difference and have to take my rescue inhaler. However, I haven't wheezed once since taking it. I’m slowly getting over a cold and have noticed it’s not hitting the spot as well, but I also think it played a big role in me barely having to use my rescue inhaler while I was sick, which I usually have to do. It’s an interesting drug to me since it was originally not even created for asthmatics. My only two side effects have been hoarseness in my voice, but only if I don’t rinse my mouth out properly after taking it, and I also get easier bruising. The bruising worried me at first, but all my blood results have come back normal, so I’ve just accepted it as a side effect."

For COPD "I was taking Trelegy for 10 days, was working well for me. After about three doses, I noticed my voice was becoming very hoarse. This continued to the point where I lost my voice completely. After approximately 7 doses, I immediately stopped using it. It has been 3 weeks since I stopped using it, and my voice is still not back to normal."

For COPD "Had a 2-week trial usage of Trelegy and was going great for the 1st week. Used every morning, breathing really improved, but during the 2nd week, I got recurrent, very bad sore (at night only) throat even though I thoroughly rinsed afterward and brushed, hoarseness with a deep cough to clear airway, became very nasally like I was catching a cold during the early part of the days after getting out of bed, headaches, and also at night, very bright halo around images on TV which hurt my eyes trying to focus. Will not continue using."

For Asthma "I’ve been taking Trelegy for 2 months. I have horrible coughing attacks and severe mucus. More than I’ve ever had. I’m hoarse all the time. I’m just going to stop and go back to Symbicort. Trelegy isn’t for everyone."
