For COPD "I used for 6 weeks one drug to treat 3 conditions, great idea. At first, it seemed to work great. After 3 weeks, started to bloat up, excessive gas that couldn't be relieved, extreme constipation, just totally bound up. At 5 weeks, I got pneumonia in my left lung. I can't believe this drug is marketed - it did more damage in 6 weeks than if I took no meds for years. Never had pneumonia before, you have no idea how painful. If this had affected both lungs, I would likely not be leaving this review. You have been warned."

For COPD "Doctor gave me a 14-day sample. I took first and only dose in his office with him. By the time I left the parking structure, I started having a very heavy and deep cough. Burning sensation in bottom of lungs. Coughing for two days now, limited sleep. I was having good results with Breo and now Dr. gave this and it has made me very sick. Constipation, loss of taste, and feel like I am getting pneumonia. God help me."

For COPD "I have given Trelegy Ellipta a good try over the past two months, and I have made an appointment to see the doctor about going back to a different medicine. My side effects are backache, emotional mood swings, earache, constipation, but not sure if I can put constipation down to the Trelegy."

For Asthma "I was prescribed 1 treatment a day. After the third treatment, I became very hoarse. I felt like my head was stopped up like never before. My throat felt closed up, my lungs as well. Trouble breathing. Rash on my side. Constipation. It’s now 4 days after the last treatment, and I’m still having trouble with my throat and voice. This drug was given to me from the doctor’s office. Sample."

For COPD "Works absolutely great for my mild COPD maintenance. I found I could use it every other day. However, the pulmonologist is switching me, saying I don't need the steroid. The anticholinergic (umeclidinium) started creating a constipation problem, but this was expected and fixed with OTC stool softener (docusate Na). I got a bad cramp in my calf at 5 AM one night, so this was unexpectedly LOWERING MY POTASSIUM. Watch out for that one. Ridiculously expensive! Of course, that's not something unusual for this particular inhaler. Big Pharma loves you."

For Asthma "Trelegy has not reduced the need for a rescue inhaler. The side effects of constipation, joint pain, cough, and sore throat were not worth being on a corticosteroid."
