For Allergic Rhinitis "I have used anything from chlorpheniramine to Claritin to Zyrtec, and then Telfast. By far, Telfast is the only one that didn't make me overly drowsy. Just this morning, I woke up feeling miserable, stuck nose and sneezing like over 10 times, and heavy-headed. I popped a pill and went to work, and within an hour, I was almost good as new. Throughout the day, I was very productive and not once dozy. With my nose not running a bit, I even had the energy to run a 10km in the evening myself!!!"

Fexofenadine for Allergic Rhinitis "I started Allegra-D 12 hour in 1999 for allergies that left me with migraines and a neck so stiff that I could barely turn my head. Allegra-D 12 hour was a miracle, and one tablet a day brought me back to fully functional. It worked great for 15 years. But in the summer of 2015, something changed. I would get a box that didn't work as well, then a box that worked just fine. I emailed the manufacturer to ask if they had changed binders or fillers that might make it harder to metabolize the active ingredients. Of course, they said 'no'. Since the summer of 2015, Allegra-D has been about as effective as taking a sugar pill. Don't waste your money. Email the company, demand they go back to the old formulation."

Fexofenadine for Allergic Rhinitis "I’ve taken Allegra for seasonal allergies and urticaria. There were four separate occasions where I used it, and each time, unfortunately, made no difference for me. This was my attempted try, and I took it about six hours ago, still no relief. I won’t be using Allegra again."

Fexofenadine for Urticaria "I have had chronic hives for 7 years now. I have tried everything. I am on Singulair and Blexten once a day but have to go on prednisone every second week. I tried Allegra for my hives, taking 3 pills once a day, but it has done nothing for me. I wish someone could give me a cure."

For Urticaria "I'd been suffering from urticaria for the last year. I took all meds, but nothing was working. At last, my doctor prescribed me fexofenadine and loratadine. It is really magic. My hives go away 70%, now I can eat all food thanks to fexofenadine."

Fexofenadine for Allergic Rhinitis "My 2-year-old had been suffering from indoor and outdoor allergies since she was 9 months old. We found Allegra suspension, and it works quite well along with her taking Singulair. If she misses a few doses, we can tell; her eyes itch and she gets congested. Just started to find the suspension in a larger bottle, so this keeps us from running out. Thanks!"

For Allergic Rhinitis "It works for me. I have a severe mold allergy, which I mostly keep in check with montelukast, Dymista, and Advair, but during the heavy raining period, I will get symptoms breakthrough, especially itchy eyes. This helps, but I need to take up to 2 pills of 180 mg twice a day for it to work all day. Tolerance does build up over time, so I cannot use it continuously."

For Allergies "This drug replaced Seldane. Seldane is a 10. Bring back Seldane. With all the terrible side effects of many drugs, I don't understand why they got so upset with possible side effects, probably because it actually worked."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I have tried other antihistamines with low response, my locum doctor prescribed fexofenadine. Within 2 days, all the itchiness had gone, my hay fever-type symptoms were suppressed, wonderful to get my life back. There are numerous products out there, try different ones to find the one that works for you. Don't kick fexofenadine just because it is no good for your symptoms."

For Urticaria "Suffered for 15 years, went to many doctors. Went to an immunologist, put me on 2 Allegra morning and night. Said regular dose will not suppress them. Amazing results. Also took Xolair shot, extremely expensive, but insurance did pay."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I get 120 mg fexofenadine tablets on prescription and take one to one and a half per day as needed. I have very, VERY bad hay fever, this tablet is literally the only one I've ever tried that actually does anything. After taking 60 - 120 mg in the morning, by mid-morning I'm usually completely symptom-free. On especially pollen-heavy days, I'll take another 60 mg early to mid-afternoon. They work absolutely great, I can still smoke and go to the pub. I do keep a nasal spray and eye drops handy in case it gets really, really bad (e.g., if I go camping). The only side effect I've ever noticed is that I get itchy when I stop taking them after hay fever season, but this stops after a week or so."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I take Allegra every day. It has changed my life in that I can now expose myself to outdoor conditions that in the past were unheard of. Allegra is truly a 24-hour med. I can count it down to the minutes when my allergic symptoms and sneezing return. When taken regularly, this medicine is very powerful."

Fexofenadine for Allergic Rhinitis "I used to take Seldane (worked great) until they took it off of the market and replaced it with Allegra. A 180 mg dose of Allegra (NOT Allegra-D) does not provide all-day relief if I spend extended time outdoors during allergy season. However, a 240 mg dose works great. A 240 mg dose is one 180 mg tablet (once daily) at the start of the day plus one 60 mg tablet (12-hour product) before going outside."

Fexofenadine for Allergic Rhinitis "I received this medication as a free sample via U.S. mail. It cleared my sinuses for 24 hours, but I was also bolt awake for 24 hours, like I was on some kind of stimulant. I would take it in severe sinusitis attacks, but not for routine allergy treatment. It also dried my sinuses out so badly that I was afraid I'd get a nosebleed for days afterward."

Fexofenadine for Allergic Rhinitis "Every allergy pill I try stops working eventually, so after using Claritin and Zyrtec, I decided to try Allegra. It is my first day using it, and it partially clears me up, but it is 3 in the morning, and I have yet to feel tired. I can see that I am not alone, so I'll be going back to Zyrtec until I can see my doctor about switching to something else."

For Allergic Rhinitis "This medication works well for my symptoms, but almost all generic versions contain too much lactose! I have terrible gaseous bloating from it, which is only alleviated if I take a large amount of lactase enzyme at the same time."

Fexofenadine for Allergic Rhinitis "Allegra is really good at working for hay fever, but I have been using antidepressants for about two years, and I am having some sleeping problems now. Using Allegra is making it hard to get to sleep early."

Fexofenadine for Allergic Rhinitis "Allegra is the only allergy medicine that helps me. Other prescription or over-the-counter medicines just seem to mask the problem, and they do not even do it that well for me. My insurance company (Aetna) stopped covering it last year, and I decided to use other brands because of the price of Allegra. Next year I think I'll pay the money for the Allegra."

Fexofenadine for Allergic Rhinitis "This has been the best allergy pill for me. I've been taking it for years. The only annoying thing is that I constantly have to explain to people that I can't have fruit juice within 1-2 hours of taking it. It helps quite a bit."

"Taking 180 mg daily of fexofenadine for angioedema. Not had an attack for the last month whilst on it, so am pleased. No side effects other than quite bad dreams. The alternative in not taking it is severe facial swellings, which will give other people bad dreams, so intend to keep using!"

Fexofenadine for Urticaria "I’m 54, have been suffering with chronic hives since I was 9 (1979). I’ve had tests done and biopsies done and nothing. Chemotherapy was supposed to knock it out and did for a while but came back. Benadryl did not help at all. I heard about Allegra and tried it. Within an hour, I felt so much better but had breakthrough hives. I also suffer from anaphylaxis shock. If they get on my lip, I assure you, it’s headed towards my throat. I got one on my lip after I had taken Allegra, but it quickly went away. So very thankful for this medication. I’m also required to carry an EpiPen in case of emergencies."

Fexofenadine for Allergic Rhinitis "Good so far. This is my first use of the 180 mg tablet. Since this has been a mild winter, I have been fighting allergies and bronchitis for months. Tussionex and Cheratussin, neither one worked. I'm still coughing, but not as much. The only problem is, I can't go to sleep at night."

Fexofenadine "This medication was quickly effective in reducing my anxiety, without side effects. I started with one dose of the Allegra 12-hour medication, which worked perfectly. I had been prescribed Hydroxyzine, but it had side effects I didn't want to experience. Thankfully, the Allegra brought relief."

For Urticaria "This medication has reduced the hives and swellings I get when touching cold items like keys, refrigerated vegetables, and frozen foods. It has also reduced my skin's reaction to touch and pressure. I have noticed, though, that my skin on my face is getting 'rougher' and not as soft as it was before I started taking the medication 4 months ago."
