For Birth Control "I was prescribed this birth control for my acne. When it was prescribed, I was terrified after seeing the negative reviews for this brand. However, I remained positive because most people generally review items when they hate them. Plus, everyone’s body is different and just because someone got a certain side effect doesn’t mean I’m guaranteed to get it. When I picked up my birth control, the main symptom that I was told I would experience is spotting. I’ve been using Mili for about 3 months and have not experienced any side effect at all!! Nothing has changed except that my acne is so much better! Overall, give it a chance!"

For Birth Control "I've taken Sprintec for years and have never had any side effects. My pharmacy was out of Sprintec, gave me Mili without telling me, and I feel absolutely horrible after taking it for 1 week. I started spotting, cramping, feeling dizzy, and exhausted. Do not take this birth control!"

For Birth Control "My pharmacy switched this on me instead of my regular Sprintec. They are supposed to be the same dosage and pretty much interchangeable, but they are definitely not. I've been taking it for 2 months, and I spend most of the month spotting, bloated, tired, and occasional cramping. My periods are heavier, which you wouldn't think is possible since I'm spotting all month. I'm honestly thinking about just going off of it until I can get Sprintec again."

For Birth Control "Before Mili, I was on Sprintec for three years and had absolutely no problems. My pharmacy gave me Mili because they were out of Sprintec and assured me it was exactly the same. Well, I have come to find out it's not. I've been on it for almost three months now and I am still having terrible side effects. My breasts have gone up a whole cup size, and I have a lack of motivation. I'm normally a pretty happy person, but since taking this, my anxiety is through the roof. Also, I have had a lot of gastrointestinal issues. Not only am I constantly bloated, someone who normally goes every day, I am sometimes backed up for 5 days. I have also been spotting between periods, and just recently my stomach has been in a lot of pain. Don't take this if you are already on a different birth control, it will mess you up."

For Birth Control "I started Mili so I could just skip my periods. Everything was fine with the first pack, but once I started my second pack, it started spotting, heavier and heavier into a full-blown period that hadn't stopped, and it has been about to be 2 weeks. I have felt depressed and have gotten painful breakouts on my face, and I don't have acne. I also feel nauseous and bloated most of the time. I'm going to give it till the end of the month, and then I think I will stop because I'd rather have a period than go through this."

For Birth Control "So I’ve been on Mili birth control pill for about four weeks now. I noticed nausea in the 3rd week the most. The rest of the time, just some cramping and light spotting. I would spot on and off or every night so far for about a month. It’s not horrible though, just somewhat annoying. I’m going to continue with it and see if my body gets adjusted to it. Also noticed an increase in painful acne, but not too much. The last week with the placebo pills has been painful cramps though."

For Birth Control "I thought I was crazy until I read all these other reviews of switching from Sprintec to Mili. My GYN and pharmacist both assured me they were the same, however, there is no way that this is the case. I am severely bloated, and it is physically painful, and I was beginning to think I was somehow pregnant despite no recent sexual activity. It looks and feels like I am 3 months along. Add on the horrible depression and spotting, and you have a miserable trifecta. Do not take, especially if switching from Sprintec."

For Birth Control "Mili is not the worst birth control. With this birth control, my acne has cleared up a lot, but on the other hand, my cramps have been really bad. I’ve been having migraines, and I’m spotting every day. Nonstop for the past week, and it’s only my second week taking it. Definitely a no-go for me."

For Birth Control "I had been on Tri-Sprintec for years for acne that was outrageous! Never wanted to go out, etc. Recently switched to this so I could have consistent pills (not fluctuations like most) and go without a period for 3 months. Welp, I've been fatigued, extremely hungry, more irritable and sad than normal, weight fluctuations, waking up super weighed down there and spotting/light bleeding! First month was fine, but I got annoyed when I had to start wearing panty liners, and it was enough to mess up my shorts. BC works great for some and terrible for others... I'm going back to my OBGYN next week."

For Birth Control "I was originally on Sprintec for almost a year when I was abruptly switched to Estarylla by my pharmacy for a month and then to Mili, which I have been taking for the past 3 months or so. I was worried that these switches would cause me to have bad side effects since I had nausea and breast pain when I first started Sprintec, however, I couldn't even tell that I had switched medications. I have occasionally spotted, mostly right before or after my placebo week, but that happened on my other birth control pills as well. I haven't attempted to skip a period because of the spotting, but overall, I have no complaints about Mili, and the transition between birth control pills was not bad at all."

For Birth Control "I have been taking Mili for almost a month now. I have had no severe side effects. The only thing I’ve had is I’ve been spotting since I started. However, this is my first time ever using birth control. Spotting is normal when you’re getting used to birth control. Other than that, there have been no changes to my daily life whatsoever. I would recommend Mili."

For Birth Control "I was switched from Sprintec to Mili and just realized today that Mili is causing the many issues I've been experiencing over the last couple of months. I never thought to look at the reviews. I am almost finished with my third pack. Irregular bleeding and spotting, then having a large breakthrough period when it wasn't the right time to have one. Random nausea and fullness. I haven't had acne since I was a teenager and have been experiencing awful skin for the last couple of months. Mood swings, easily tearful (very abnormal for me). I feel exhausted most of the time and experience headaches regularly. I've never written a medication review, but all of these things have happened since starting Mili and have gotten worse, not better, since continuing to take it."

For Birth Control "I read some reviews prior to taking Mili, and against my better judgment, took them because I needed them, and I regret it! I agree with many of the reviews here, unfortunately. For starters, prior to taking, my skin recently cleared from hormonal acne, and this completely reversed that-new breakouts seem to form almost daily. Ugh! I have been spotting since taking these, and it's been almost 2 months. I thought if I stuck it out, it'd stop-but no! It's been almost 2 weeks since stopping them, and I'm still spotting! I'm not a sweet eater at all, but now I crave sweets day and night-like waking up and snacking at 2 a.m. Please try another brand/form! This just ain't it, hopefully, this nightmare is over soon."

For Birth Control "I have been on this pill for a year and 3 months. At first, I just had some spotting and some tender breasts, but my PMDD was better. I didn’t have as many mood swings, however, my period is about the same. I have one day of heavy bleeding and cramps, so bad that pain medicine can’t help. I also get bloated. Before Mili, I had mood swings all the time, and I had one bad day of cramps and heavy bleeding. The bloating is about the same. What makes me want to go off the pill is my weight. I went from 115 pounds to 130 pounds. I don’t like how I feel. I am going to talk to my doctor about getting off of it."

For Birth Control "I was switched to Mili after being on Sprintec for 2 years, and it was the worst! I started having terrible chin acne like never before, and it still hasn’t gone away after being on Mili for about 6 months. Now I'm 2 months back onto Sprintec and still can’t fix my acne from the pill. I had nausea, spotting here and there, and my moods were terrible. I was so irritable and anxious my boyfriend thought something was seriously wrong with me. I don’t recommend this pill at all."

For Birth Control "I have been on Sprintec for years, and my pharmacy gave me Mili instead for my last prescription. I have been miserable - sad mood, low energy, low motivation - and this second week just started spotting. Also, I never have cramps, and I did in the first month of Mili. I agree with the other reviewers; I don’t care what the FDA says - these drugs are NOT the same, at least for me. Getting all my unused Mili returned for Sprintec & will never ever let them try to switch my pills on me again."

For Birth Control "My pharmacy ran out of Sprintec and gave me these. Been taking it for 2 months, and it has been the WORST. Lots of abdominal cramping, gas, bloating. First month, it made me vomit for two days straight, and now, the second month, I have spotting. I’ve been on Sprintec for 3 years and never had these side effects. These two birth control brands are NOT THE SAME. Do not take this if you can help it. I got my pharmacy to refill my prescription for Sprintec, and I will never accept this medication again."

For Birth Control "I have been on Sprintec for 3 years, and due to a shortage, they switched me to Mili. I was assured it was the same as Sprintec, but boy were they wrong. I've been on Mili for 2 months now, and I have had way worse side effects than I ever did with Sprintec. My breasts went up almost two cup sizes. I have horrible bloating constantly and constipation. I also have been spotting in between periods more frequently. My acne is worse than it typically is, and I am hungry all the time, where with Sprintec it never changed my appetite. I do not suggest taking this pill, and thankfully I will be back on Sprintec after this month."

For Birth Control "I was previously on the NuvaRing, and my provider switched me to Mili for a new hormone combination. I took Mili for three months before switching myself back to the NuvaRing. I had more spotting randomly throughout the month than I ever have before, and the spotting lasted longer than my normal period. I could have handled the spotting if it wasn't accompanied by the mood swings! I wanted to cry every day, felt anxious all day, and was easily set off into mood swing spirals. I felt like I was emotionally out of control and going insane. 10/10 would suggest finding another birth control because Mili is hands down one of the worst I've taken. I didn't get pregnant while on it, though, so there is a plus!"

For Birth Control "First birth control I ever started, and before, I never had trouble with terrible cramping, just mild cramping on the first day, and I only got on this birth control to regulate my periods. At first, it was great, there were no effects. Then, a week after taking it, I started noticing spotting, and that lasted for a week. Then I got on my period, this has to be the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life, and no pain pills help. I’ve tried ibuprofen 800 and naproxen 500. If this is your first time on birth control and this is the pill you're prescribed, just be prepared for unbearable cramps day and night."

For Birth Control "I wish I could begin to explain how bad this BC is for me. I got switched from my holy grail of Sprintec to Mili at the beginning of 2021. Already having high anxiety, this did not help me. I experienced horrible heightened anxiety, terrible gas to the point I convinced myself I was lactose intolerant (which I’m not), and spotting in between my period. The most recent one I noticed was hair loss, which has been causing my anxiety to get worse. I have the most gentle hair care, and there is no way my hair should be falling out like that. Mili has got to be the worst. I would drive hours to a pharmacy to get back on Sprintec."

For Birth Control "My doctor prescribed Mili because my anxiety and PMS (anger) issues get really bad with my periods. I was supposed to take Mili nonstop and just skip the placebo week so that I wouldn't have periods. About my 3rd month of taking Mili, I started my period. I had heavy bleeding for 2 weeks. Called the doctor, and they told me to take 800 mg of ibuprofen every 8 hours (that's a lot for me, I normally only take the 200 mg tablets when I'm really hurting), so I did this, and the bleeding lessened but never stopped. I stopped taking Mili (on my own), but the doctor also recommended it. So I had 2 weeks of heavy bleeding on Mili, 3 days of spotting, and now I'm on my period again. Hopefully, it stops soon. I'm very frustrated with this whole experience. I took Sprintec a couple of years ago, and my insurance changed my pill. I started having suicidal thoughts. I'm not 100% sure which pill that was, but needless to say, I was already weary about trying birth control again."
