For Birth Control "I’ve been using Mili for 2.5 years now, and I’ve personally never had a bad reaction. This was the first BC pill I was prescribed, so I didn’t make a switch from a different pill. I had pretty consistent and mild periods before birth control, but with Mili I don’t experience painful cramping at all. I “cramp” slightly right when my period starts, but it’s not a painful cramp, it’s more just a feeling that I can tell my period started. I started using Curology for my acne 6 months before starting Mili, so I can’t fully speak on the benefit for acne. While I don’t know if it’s one of them or both contributing to my skin, I can say my skin has been significantly better the past 2.5 years than it was before Curology/Mili. I looked up reviews before starting Mili and was scared from the negative feedback. I randomly thought about that tonight and came back to share my positive experience in case it helps anyone currently reading reviews!"

For Birth Control "I've taken Sprintec for years and have never had any side effects. My pharmacy was out of Sprintec, gave me Mili without telling me, and I feel absolutely horrible after taking it for 1 week. I started spotting, cramping, feeling dizzy, and exhausted. Do not take this birth control!"

For Birth Control "My pharmacy switched this on me instead of my regular Sprintec. They are supposed to be the same dosage and pretty much interchangeable, but they are definitely not. I've been taking it for 2 months, and I spend most of the month spotting, bloated, tired, and occasional cramping. My periods are heavier, which you wouldn't think is possible since I'm spotting all month. I'm honestly thinking about just going off of it until I can get Sprintec again."

For Birth Control "My pharmacy ran out of Sprintec, so I tried Mili. The first two days I had cramps that felt like some food poisoning. I felt weak and non-motivated. I couldn’t even wear my contacts, and I kept drinking water. The worst was the migraines on days 5 and 6. I started breaking out (my skin never does). I started getting strange hot flashes and also chills. I even started sneezing, and I’m someone who never sneezes. I started to wonder why I was so bloated. I knew it was the medication after 6 days. The sixth day was the worst: the headache wouldn’t subside. I cleared my throat over 40 times in the last few days. I felt like I couldn’t even speak because the headache was so bad, like pounding on the sides of my head."

For Birth Control "I made an account just to comment on how incredibly bad this birth control is. I was on Estarylla for a while, but then switched to Mili. Ever since taking it, I have had the absolute WORST depressive and anxiety attacks to the point where I think I’m going insane. It was never like this taking Estarylla, but my experience with that other brand was bad too. My periods have gotten heavier and more painful since taking this brand. My acne was cleared with Estarylla, but Mili has given me more acne. This birth control has pretty much made me miserable."

For Birth Control "I’m one of the many women whose life was upended when Mononessa was discontinued in the US. Sprintec, Estarylla, and Mili have all failed as substitutes. I’m guessing there are new-generation additives in birth control pills (BCP’s) that are straight-up toxic. But Mili was the worst. Took it for two days and experienced unbearable nausea, stomach pain, and bloating. I got off it, malaise persisted an extra day along with ovarian pain. A huge disappointment because there are no other options available in the generic Ortho Cyclen formulation."

For Birth Control "Terrible. Didn’t help with cramps, I had heavier periods and zero sex drive. The worst is the anxiety and anger associated with it. My fiancé and I just split up over these pills due to my mood swings and upset. I wouldn’t take them ever again. Too many reviews say the same thing...the pills are the common denominator!"

For Birth Control "So I’ve been on Mili birth control pill for about four weeks now. I noticed nausea in the 3rd week the most. The rest of the time, just some cramping and light spotting. I would spot on and off or every night so far for about a month. It’s not horrible though, just somewhat annoying. I’m going to continue with it and see if my body gets adjusted to it. Also noticed an increase in painful acne, but not too much. The last week with the placebo pills has been painful cramps though."

For Birth Control "I was so relieved to see I'm not the only one having major issues with this birth control. Like many, I was on Sprintec and was unexpectedly switched to Mili by my pharmacy. They say it's the same, but I seriously doubt it. I haven't had acne in years, and suddenly I have it again. My mood has always been stable on any other birth control, and now I have horrific mood swings. Literally woke up one day and could not get myself out of bed because I was so depressed. I was terrified of how low I felt. I never felt anything like that before. I have some depression and anxiety, but never like this. The following day, my mood was normal, but I had terrible cramps and heavy bleeding that went on for over a week. I'm on my second pack, finishing it out, and calling it quits. I only needed a couple months' worth while my husband fully healed after his vasectomy. Thank God. I'm sure this works for some, but after seeing others with similar experiences, I think there is something off with Mili."

For Birth Control "My pharmacy switched me from Sprintec to Mili, and I immediately had negative effects. I had every symptom of a period besides the period itself: extreme cramping, emotional bouts, food cravings, fatigue, all around not great. I never took Midol until I started on Mili, and that was the only thing that made my cramps go away even though I wasn't on my period. I took Mili for two weeks before asking my pharmacy to override my prescription and get me back on Sprintec. Would not recommend, especially if you were on Sprintec prior to Mili. Now that I've taken three days of Sprintec, I started spotting here and there. I'm hoping my period is regular or becomes regular in the next month because Mili made me and my cycle out of whack."

For Birth Control "Mili is not the worst birth control. With this birth control, my acne has cleared up a lot, but on the other hand, my cramps have been really bad. I’ve been having migraines, and I’m spotting every day. Nonstop for the past week, and it’s only my second week taking it. Definitely a no-go for me."

For Birth Control "This birth control is terrible. I was switched from Sprintec after taking it for 6 years, and I’ve been on Mili for 3 months, and I’m miserable. Random cramping throughout the month, irregular periods, bloating like crazy, and breaking out like crazy! I haven’t had acne for about 4 years, and now I’m breaking out bad. I do not recommend this birth control at all. I will be calling my doctor immediately."

For Birth Control "I've been taking Mili for almost a month now. I've not had much adverse effect from this pill. In the 2nd and 3rd week, I developed breast tenderness, also accompanied by regular cramping. No emotional changes. I am thinking it is my body adjusting to the cycle of these pills. I am hoping the next 2 months my body will adjust to these or I will switch out for something different."

For Birth Control "I had the same experience as a lot of people in these reviews, I was switched to Mili from Sprintec after my pharmacy was out of my Sprintec. My pharmacist assured me it was the same exact thing and same ingredients. It does not feel like that at all. This drug is probably the worst thing I have put in my body. It made my depression 100 times worse, I have had cramps for the past two weeks, and I keep having periods of nausea and feeling fatigued. I feel like a completely different person. This makes me never want to take the pill again."

For Birth Control "This was my first experience with birth control, and it was so awful! I took it for a month and a few days, and there were two nights I woke up in the middle of the night throwing up because it made me so nauseous. I have healthy periods with barely any bad symptoms naturally, but with taking this pill, my breasts had excruciating pain and I had strong cramps. The constant nausea was the absolute worst. Every woman’s body is different, but this did not work for me by any means! I’m so happy my doctor told me to stop immediately!"

For Birth Control "I have been on this pill for a year and 3 months. At first, I just had some spotting and some tender breasts, but my PMDD was better. I didn’t have as many mood swings, however, my period is about the same. I have one day of heavy bleeding and cramps, so bad that pain medicine can’t help. I also get bloated. Before Mili, I had mood swings all the time, and I had one bad day of cramps and heavy bleeding. The bloating is about the same. What makes me want to go off the pill is my weight. I went from 115 pounds to 130 pounds. I don’t like how I feel. I am going to talk to my doctor about getting off of it."

For Birth Control "I was switched over to Mili from Sprintec without notice and assumed since they were the same dosage and interchangeable. After a month of taking Mili, it clicked that it was causing me all my painful bloating and cramps, as well as my random crying and anxiety. Highly do not recommend switching to Mili from Sprintec! Luckily, I was able to call my CVS and they switched me back to Sprintec on request."

For Birth Control "I've been taking Sprintec for over 2 years, and my pharmacy gave me Milli this month. I couldn't even finish the end of the pack. I've had the worst cramping, headaches, and yeast infection since starting Milli. My doctor said it's the same as Sprintec, but it's terrible. The discomfort totally isn't worth it. But Sprintec, on the other hand, is the way to go!"

For Birth Control "I can't even believe how many negative reviews there are about this pill. I relate to so many. I was 21 taking Sprintec as well for a long time, and it was the best pill I ever took. I am now 22 and have been taking Mili for a little close to a year now because Planned Parenthood on a telehealth call told me that it's the same exact thing. WRONG. Cramps, mood swings, cluster headaches, migraines, bloating, irritability, my anxiety is so high. I never felt this way before. I've been depressed to no end, so insecure within, no motivation. I feel so defeated by this and the doctors who are giving this out. But I guess this is how they get paid, ya know? To keep us coming back. Now I know we shouldn't be taking BC, but I'm 22, trying to be safe until I'm ready, and was told this birth control helps with PCOS patients. I am done. I deserve better. 12/28/21 is my appointment with a real GYN. I can't wait to get this problem fixed up. DO NOT TAKE THIS PILL, LADIES... PLEASE. THIS IS NOT A “GENERIC” OPTION AS THEY SAY. For Birth Control "I have been on Sprintec for years, and my pharmacy gave me Mili instead for my last prescription. I have been miserable - sad mood, low energy, low motivation - and this second week just started spotting. Also, I never have cramps, and I did in the first month of Mili. I agree with the other reviewers; I don’t care what the FDA says - these drugs are NOT the same, at least for me. Getting all my unused Mili returned for Sprintec & will never ever let them try to switch my pills on me again."

For Birth Control "My pharmacy ran out of Sprintec and gave me these. Been taking it for 2 months, and it has been the WORST. Lots of abdominal cramping, gas, bloating. First month, it made me vomit for two days straight, and now, the second month, I have spotting. I’ve been on Sprintec for 3 years and never had these side effects. These two birth control brands are NOT THE SAME. Do not take this if you can help it. I got my pharmacy to refill my prescription for Sprintec, and I will never accept this medication again."

For Birth Control "I have been on birth control for a few years. When I started taking Mili, I didn’t notice anything drastic. Months passed, and now I feel like a crazy woman. For Birth Control "I started Mili almost a month ago, and it’s probably one of the worst experiences that I’ve gone through. I never had period cramps before, but when I started taking this medication, it was every day. The worst pain. I couldn’t sleep well at all. Headaches at night, my bleeding is still very heavy, and I went through a pack of pads for one whole day. Constantly staining and having to clean the bathroom every day. Also, the fatigue. I slept for almost the entire day and still felt so tired. I'm still bleeding, but I’m definitely switching brands, this is ridiculous."
