For Birth Control "Horrible. My pharmacist told me it's exactly the same as Sprintec. I've been bleeding for almost two weeks and have felt so insecure and emotional with hormone swings. I just straight up stopped taking it. I have an appointment with my OBGYN on the 15th, and I'm demanding I get Sprintec back or to send me to another doctor who can give it to me. It's not identical, it's worse. I wish I never took Mili."

For Birth Control "I was taking Sprintec for years, but 4 months ago I got switched to Mili. Boy oh boy. The first few months were bad, but this last month... oh my gosh. I’ve been bleeding for 15 days (regular periods usually last for 3-4 days). I’ve had 6 anxiety attacks within the past week, hot flashes, cold sweats, no appetite, lack of motivation. Literally, I feel awful. I’m stopping it this month. I’m not even being dramatic when I tell you this pill is a nightmare. It may work for some, but this pill is literally so bad for me."

For Birth Control "I'm on my second week of taking Mili. I started taking the pill the first Monday after my period, as directed by my doctor. So far, mood is fine, no abnormal bleeding, no headaches or nausea. I am experiencing breast tenderness. I used to experience anxiety, but after taking the pill, the anxiety is less. I have mild acne, but it is too early in the month to see if it's getting better. It all depends on the person, so I guess you will have to experience Mili for yourself. These reviews were helpful for me because everyone's experiences were different, and so was mine."

For Birth Control "OMG, I am so glad I found these reviews. A light bulb went off, and now I know what is causing my daughter to have horrible anxiety, depression, zero appetite, panic attacks, fatigue, and zero motivation to do anything but sleep. My daughter is 19 years old and attends college. Four months ago, we decided she should try to get on a BC pill that will help with her heavy periods and terrible cramps. The first month of taking the BC, she was on Lo Loestrin, commonly known as LO LO. She had some breakthrough bleeding as a side effect, nothing major. The second month, when she received her next round, she was given Mili brand BC without any notice of the switch. I can't tell you enough how horrible these last few months have been. My daughter deals with anxiety and depression and has been treated for it with medication and had it controlled. The last few months since taking Mili, her anxiety has spun out of control along with her confidence. She feels nauseous every time she eats. DON'T TAKE!"

For Birth Control "I embarked on my journey with Milli birth control in December 2022, starting on the first day of my menstrual cycle. However, the initial experience left me apprehensive as I encountered prolonged bleeding for about 15 days. Concerned, I decided to discontinue the pill, opting to give it another shot a few months later. In June 2023, I decided to restart Milli, this time initiating it on the first Sunday after the conclusion of my last period. Since then, Milli has been a game-changer. Notably, my skin has significantly cleared up. Though I occasionally feel sensitive during placebo weeks, it's unclear if it's linked to the pill or personal life events. Nausea was a brief issue in the first week, but I've had no complications since. No weight gain or heavy periods have occurred, and I feel more regulated overall. Despite initial hesitation, I'm glad I gave Milli another chance. It's a reminder that everyone's experience with birth control is unique."

For Birth Control "This was the worst birth control I have ever been on. The pill for me, in general, hasn't been that great, and I found myself calling my doctor every month for a new prescription. None of mine were as bad as this one. I have been on this pill for two months now and have not stopped bleeding. This has never happened with me and birth control. My mood is constantly down, and I am very irritable all the time. My weight went up about 10 pounds, and my skin is breaking out like crazy. Please save yourself from all of this and try anything else but this brand."

For Birth Control "This was the worst birth control. I was on Estarylla prior to this, and Estarylla was actually great for me. I had light bleeding and hardly any cramps. I was happy with it. Walgreens suddenly told me that they no longer make it, so they were giving me Mili, which was 'the same.' In no way was it the same. As soon as I switched pills, I bled for an entire month. It was nonstop bleeding, and it was just clots of blood. I was showering up to five times a day and changing pads every hour. I took it a second month after my doctor and I thought maybe I had to adjust to the new pill. The second month was a mistake because the same thing happened, and I just bled nonstop. There was about a week in between where I did not bleed. Don’t take Mili. It’s horrible!"

For Birth Control "I had Mirena 3 times and decided to switch, one because I didn’t want to be on anything (hormones are horrible for your body, period) and two because I just wanted to see if anything was different without it. I’ve been using Mirena for almost 15 years, and they say you notice changes when you stop something. Mirena was amazing. That’s what I’ve discovered. Should have never had it removed. Anyways, they prescribed me Tri Lo Mili (didn’t want my skin in shock seeing as I’m doing bodywork right now). I’m two weeks into this pill, and the side effects I am experiencing so far are: first week-insomnia, high anxiety, night sweats (so gross), mainly in my legs, bleeding gums (never had in my life), absolutely zero appetite whatsoever (and I’m a daily chocolate kind of gal)…"

For Birth Control "I was so relieved to see I'm not the only one having major issues with this birth control. Like many, I was on Sprintec and was unexpectedly switched to Mili by my pharmacy. They say it's the same, but I seriously doubt it. I haven't had acne in years, and suddenly I have it again. My mood has always been stable on any other birth control, and now I have horrific mood swings. Literally woke up one day and could not get myself out of bed because I was so depressed. I was terrified of how low I felt. I never felt anything like that before. I have some depression and anxiety, but never like this. The following day, my mood was normal, but I had terrible cramps and heavy bleeding that went on for over a week. I'm on my second pack, finishing it out, and calling it quits. I only needed a couple months' worth while my husband fully healed after his vasectomy. Thank God. I'm sure this works for some, but after seeing others with similar experiences, I think there is something off with Mili."

For Birth Control "I switched to the Mili pill after weeks of bleeding on Tri Sprintec. The switch did help regulate my periods, however, the entirety of the 3 months I was on it were literal hell. My sex drive has been demolished, and I am constantly on edge about everything. I became so overwhelmed and stressed out that it nearly ruined my relationship. Intense crying, screaming, and just general unhappiness, all of which would lessen on the off week during my period, so it took me a cycle or two to realize the hormones were the cause. I had been on Tri Sprintec for a year and a half before Mili and have never experienced such awful mood swings. I also gained 10-15 pounds rapidly within a month's time. That combined with the depressive episodes was bad for my self-esteem. This pill has made me want to stop my birth control journey entirely."

For Birth Control "I had been on Tri-Sprintec for years for acne that was outrageous! Never wanted to go out, etc. Recently switched to this so I could have consistent pills (not fluctuations like most) and go without a period for 3 months. Welp, I've been fatigued, extremely hungry, more irritable and sad than normal, weight fluctuations, waking up super weighed down there and spotting/light bleeding! First month was fine, but I got annoyed when I had to start wearing panty liners, and it was enough to mess up my shorts. BC works great for some and terrible for others... I'm going back to my OBGYN next week."

For Birth Control "I was switched from Sprintec to Mili and just realized today that Mili is causing the many issues I've been experiencing over the last couple of months. I never thought to look at the reviews. I am almost finished with my third pack. Irregular bleeding and spotting, then having a large breakthrough period when it wasn't the right time to have one. Random nausea and fullness. I haven't had acne since I was a teenager and have been experiencing awful skin for the last couple of months. Mood swings, easily tearful (very abnormal for me). I feel exhausted most of the time and experience headaches regularly. I've never written a medication review, but all of these things have happened since starting Mili and have gotten worse, not better, since continuing to take it."

For Birth Control "I have been on this pill for a year and 3 months. At first, I just had some spotting and some tender breasts, but my PMDD was better. I didn’t have as many mood swings, however, my period is about the same. I have one day of heavy bleeding and cramps, so bad that pain medicine can’t help. I also get bloated. Before Mili, I had mood swings all the time, and I had one bad day of cramps and heavy bleeding. The bloating is about the same. What makes me want to go off the pill is my weight. I went from 115 pounds to 130 pounds. I don’t like how I feel. I am going to talk to my doctor about getting off of it."

For Birth Control "Backstory: I have had a copper IUD since the birth of my last child two years ago. Love it for a lot of reasons, including the no extra hormones. (I had 3 kids in 3 years, so I wanted to give my body a break from extra hormones... natural pregnancy ones or otherwise, haha) But I started noticing that I was insanely irritable from ovulation until my period would finally start. So I asked to go back on the pill because I can’t afford to be choking down rage for two weeks out of every month. I'd been on Tri-Sprintec before my kids for several years, and it was fine. My doc suggested I try a monophasic pill (Mili) instead of a triphasic pill (Tri-Sprintec). She explained that she preferred monophasic for mood stabilizing. So I tried it out. Pros: no longer a PMS-y rage monster, no weight gain, no breakouts, basically nothing funky except... con: I started bleeding, without fail, during the second week of pills and would continue bleeding through partway through the 4th week."

For Birth Control "My pharmacy recently switched my birth control to Mili. Typically, I take Sprintec with no problem, but unfortunately, my pharmacy ran out. I have been taking Mili for a couple of weeks and have felt extremely tired, dizzy, bloated, and irritable. Now, I also have breakthrough bleeding. I have been on birth control for 16 years, and this has NEVER happened with a birth control. I switched to a pharmacy that has Sprintec available."

For Birth Control "Okay, this is the best experience I’ve had with a birth control pill so far. Started because of irregular and heavy periods and painful acne. About 1 and 1/2 months on the pill, the heavy irregular period stopped and acne was gone. After about 3 months, my period is light, short, and painless. I also no longer get painful acne. No mood swings. I was prescribed Sprintec in 2018, which caused me to bleed heavier and caused cystic-like acne. I recommend Mili :)"

For Birth Control "I have been on birth control for a few years. When I started taking Mili, I didn’t notice anything drastic. Months passed, and now I feel like a crazy woman. I cry all the time, get irritable very fast, and get anxiety. My bleeding is still heavy, and I get terrible cramps. This pill does nothing but make me down on myself. Please do your research."

For Birth Control "This is the worst! I have been on Sprintec or Estarylla for 5+ years due to extreme stage 4 endometriosis. Right after my 6-hour excision, Walgreens switched me over to Mili. I had 3 weeks of Estarylla that I took after the surgery and started on the Mili when I ran out. I have bled ever since, and the pain I’m experiencing is insane! I had severe pain every day before Sprintec, and it was a literal lifesaver for me. My face has broken out horribly, and I cannot get it under control. The intense nausea this pill has caused is forcing me to take Zofran around the clock. The migraines I’ve been experiencing are debilitating. I’m on it through the placebos, and yet I’m still bleeding and developing cysts, which the Sprintec helped avoid. I feel like the results of that very expensive surgery were ruined thanks to this switch. I guess on the upside, I lost 15 lbs, but that’s mainly because I can’t eat anything anymore, even though I am starving! I hate this pill."

For Birth Control "I started Mili almost a month ago, and it’s probably one of the worst experiences that I’ve gone through. I never had period cramps before, but when I started taking this medication, it was every day. The worst pain. I couldn’t sleep well at all. Headaches at night, my bleeding is still very heavy, and I went through a pack of pads for one whole day. Constantly staining and having to clean the bathroom every day. Also, the fatigue. I slept for almost the entire day and still felt so tired. I'm still bleeding, but I’m definitely switching brands, this is ridiculous."

For Birth Control "I started taking the Mili pill at the end of January after having an incredibly bad period that month, with horrible cramps that I had never felt before. I started birth control so I could pretty much immediately offset that, and so far it hasn't been too bad. I have definitely noticed mood changes; I'm crying, which I don't really do, and my regular anxiety and irritability levels were increased. I'm about to start taking the sugar pill week, and I'm hoping my cramps subside, but even the week before, I have been feeling very slight cramps and have had some breakthrough bleeding over the past few days."

For Birth Control "I went on the birth control after being off hormones for about 5 years while having kids. I gave this drug two months before calling it quits. The first month I had unbearable nausea. The second month I had persistent headaches, and the worst part was the bleeding. Breakthrough spotting turned into a 12-day period leading up to my actual period, so I had only one week period-free the whole second month. Not to mention it was related to cramping, which I never have. Going to try a pill with more progesterone, but Mili was a disaster for me."

I would not recommend this to anyone. I have been on my cycle for a whole month dealing with this birth control."

For Birth Control "The first year of this pill was okay, after the one-year mark, things start going downhill. Pros: good at preventing pregnancy, normal periods for the first year, no cramping, not much weight gain! Cons: breakthrough bleeding, migraines, and bad mental effects. The first three months will be rocky, but your body just has to adjust to it, and overall the first year will be very good! Sex drive was good, periods normal, all was well. After I hit my year mark, I started getting breakthrough bleeding, no sex drive, and HORRIBLE migraines. I would recommend this birth control for someone who isn’t going on it for long! If you want a long-term option, definitely pick something else!!"

For Birth Control "So, unlike most people, I didn’t switch from another birth control. In my case, I got pregnant, and while I was pregnant, my fibroid grew in size. My doctor prescribed me this pill to stop my cycle so my fibroid would stop growing until surgery. Long story short, this pill is awful! I gained weight, I’ve been bleeding for weeks now, and now I’m starting to notice a pain in my abdomen. Please, for the love of God, don’t take this medicine."
