For Birth Control "First, I would like to say that this is the first time I've ever been on BC. I'm 25 years old and I'm in a serious, committed relationship. I've been looking at these reviews on the BC pill Mili, a pill that I was prescribed. I'm taking it for my irregular period, cramps, and heavy periods. I do not struggle with acne, never did. While reading the comments, it appears to me that a majority have previously taken another form, or at least a type of BC pill before starting Mili. More often than not, your body will go whack because of the new hormones you are introducing, not to mention some other forms of BC may not mix well after your body has been regulated on a different pill for a while. So, keep that in mind. I just started taking Mili. Overall, I'm not experiencing anything major like headaches, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, breakouts, etc. Do not let others' reviews scare you. No one said that taking BC was going to ever be a 5 star experience."

For Birth Control "I hate this. Apparently, Sprintec is on a nationwide shortage. I've been taking this for about 3 months. I'm bloated all the time, I began to think I was pregnant. I feel so hungry and tired and have the worst stomach cramps. My headaches are sometimes unbearable. I figured it wouldn’t be any different than Sprintec... but I hate it."

For Birth Control "I've never written a review, but I feel so strongly about this pill I need to share. I've been taking Sprintec for four years, I got switched to this one because of a shortage. I've been taking this pill for three days, and I already want to stop. I've had a headache for three days, been so nauseous every time I eat that I have to lay down and close my eyes. My anxiety has been so much worse, and I don't feel like doing anything-going to the store, doing my schoolwork, or even going on drives with my friends because I’m scared I’ll be so nauseous I’ll throw up. I never want to take this pill again and will be stopping immediately. If I could rate it -100, I would."

For Birth Control "My pharmacy ran out of Sprintec, so I tried Mili. The first two days I had cramps that felt like some food poisoning. I felt weak and non-motivated. I couldn’t even wear my contacts, and I kept drinking water. The worst was the migraines on days 5 and 6. I started breaking out (my skin never does). I started getting strange hot flashes and also chills. I even started sneezing, and I’m someone who never sneezes. I started to wonder why I was so bloated. I knew it was the medication after 6 days. The sixth day was the worst: the headache wouldn’t subside. I cleared my throat over 40 times in the last few days. I felt like I couldn’t even speak because the headache was so bad, like pounding on the sides of my head."

For Birth Control "I started taking Mili two months ago, and I have little to no side effects! My periods are regular, they aren’t anything out of the ordinary. I still get period cramps, so it’s pretty normal for my typical period. I do get headaches sometimes, though! I haven’t gained any weight. After the first few months, side effects start to slow, so give it some time, y’all!"

For Birth Control "Overall, I’m happy with this Mili birth control pill. I switched from Junel Fe after seeing my doctor for pelvic pain. My doctor put me on Mili continuously due to a suspected hormone imbalance. And she was right. The first three-week transition was rough; acne, tender breasts, anxiety, nausea, irritability, but it actually cleared up on my second pack. I feel great now and have little to no cramping. I only had breakthrough bleeding once during the switch (since I’m skipping placebos). I plan to keep using it as long as nothing crazy pops up. The only thing I can note is that I’m more emotional from time to time, but I think that’s the ebb and flow of the month anyway. I do have headaches a little more often, but nothing severe."

For Birth Control "I started taking this a week ago (for the most obvious of reasons to take birth control), and I am writing this from my couch, still sick from it. I have NEVER had a bad experience with medicine like this. I have been nauseated, dizzy, my head hurts, and I'm throwing up. The side effects have lessened slightly, but the first night I was sick about every 20-30 minutes, literally all night. I would not recommend this at all to anyone ever."

For Birth Control "I have been on Mili for about 2 months. I am working on getting switched to a different birth control because of how overemotional Mili made me. No, it didn't make me nauseous or throw up, but it did give me headaches every now and then. Every few hours, I would get very sad out of nowhere and cry so hard for about 1-2 hours. Sometimes I would even start crying out of nowhere and then start laughing. The littlest things would set my emotions over the top. I would be on the phone, and I would get told I love you, and I would start bawling my eyes out. Same thing if I got told that person was going to bed. The first time it happened, I cried my eyes out for 2 hours harder than I've ever cried before. I would cry over anything and everything, and most of the time, nothing. It would also make me bitchier than usual. I do not recommend this birth control at all. It made me way too overemotional."

For Birth Control "I took Sprintec for about 3 or 4 years now, but my pharmacy ran out and dispensed me Mili. I can honestly say I'm miserable. As I lay here and write this, I have an awful headache. I usually don't get them. I have constantly been bloated since taking this pill. I'm just getting to the end of my first pack. I have had an upset stomach and gas frequently. My mood has been all over the place, and I have no motivation to do anything. My hormones are all over the place. This is the worst pill ever!"

For Birth Control "I recently was told I was to start taking Mili as my pharmacy, CVS, no longer carries Sprintec. I am 3 weeks into my first BC pack of Mili, and I have never felt more awful. I have had a headache and have been extremely nauseous the past 4 days. My anxiety is through the roof, and my breasts feel like they have gone up a whole cup size. When I was on Sprintec, I never had any of these issues. I really never would have expected this when switching from one combination pill to another."

For Birth Control "I’m back with my review of Mili. 1st month taking Mili after using Loryna for more than 3 years. I had no bad side effects at all after taking it at nighttime around 10:30 pm. I only noticed a 1 to 2 pounds gained, but is not a huge deal 'cause I’m super skinny and it’s hard for me to gain weight, so that’s a +. At the end of the month, I just notice that my headaches are decreasing a bit after using Mili compared to Loryna, another +. I’ll continue using Mili 'cause it’s been more beneficial for me."

For Birth Control "I'm on my second week of taking Mili. I started taking the pill the first Monday after my period, as directed by my doctor. So far, mood is fine, no abnormal bleeding, no headaches or nausea. I am experiencing breast tenderness. I used to experience anxiety, but after taking the pill, the anxiety is less. I have mild acne, but it is too early in the month to see if it's getting better. It all depends on the person, so I guess you will have to experience Mili for yourself. These reviews were helpful for me because everyone's experiences were different, and so was mine."

For Birth Control "I switched from Sprintec to Mili birth control pill. Sprintec made me feel like I was going crazy and made me super emotional and was the worst. I feel an improvement in my mental health since switching from Sprintec to Mili for sure though. My periods are lighter, I do get headaches, slight mood swings, and I have gained a little bit of weight since starting. My acne has cleared up almost entirely though."

For Birth Control "I was on Sprintec for a year and never had any bad side effects. My doctor gave me Mili and said that they were the same medicine and that nothing should change. I've been taking it for less than a week, and I have had headaches, horrible nausea, acne breakouts, and I'm always tired. DO NOT get fooled into thinking that Mili and Sprintec are the same thing, they are not."

For Birth Control "I have been on this pill for almost 4 years, but last year I got on the depo shot, and it was the worst thing ever for me. I have never experienced anything like it, my stomach would always hurt me so bad, my headaches were through the roof, and random periods and weight gain. I was 148 when I started getting it, and now 184. It also made me very, very lazy and not want to get out of the house! But I switched back to Mili birth control in January 2022, and it has been the best thing for me. No trouble, no weight gain, helped my acne, want to go outside a lot more, enjoy it. I recommend Mili!"

For Birth Control "I was switched from Sprintec to Mili and just realized today that Mili is causing the many issues I've been experiencing over the last couple of months. I never thought to look at the reviews. I am almost finished with my third pack. Irregular bleeding and spotting, then having a large breakthrough period when it wasn't the right time to have one. Random nausea and fullness. I haven't had acne since I was a teenager and have been experiencing awful skin for the last couple of months. Mood swings, easily tearful (very abnormal for me). I feel exhausted most of the time and experience headaches regularly. I've never written a medication review, but all of these things have happened since starting Mili and have gotten worse, not better, since continuing to take it."

For Birth Control "Like many other recent reviewers, I was switched from Sprintec to Mili when my pharmacy ran out of Sprintec. I've never had any issues with Sprintec (I've taken it for four years). After I started taking Mili, I made it a total of 4 days before I called the pharmacy and begged them to switch me back. I started the first pack of Mili on Sunday night, and by the next morning, I was experiencing severe waves of nausea and a headache. Every day until I switched back to Sprintec, I felt incredibly nauseous and would waver between extreme hunger and having no appetite due to the nausea. I definitely would not recommend this as an alternative to Sprintec--or at all."

For Birth Control "Hoping this review will help someone avoid this discomfort. Echoing what many others have said, this is NOT the same as Sprintec, regardless of what your pharmacy tells you. This gave me headaches, increased anxiety and depression, insatiable hunger, and the worst diarrhea and stomach cramps that came and went and lasted for DAYS like an illness. Do not take this poison!"

For Birth Control "So, so, so bad. My pharmacy switched me without my consent. They told me it was the same, and I believed them. Six months later, I think I finally figured out it was the cause of my ongoing headaches, skin breakouts, constant fatigue, frequent lightheadedness, and tons of food aversions. Do not take this BC, and if you’re on it, I recommend getting off it ASAP!"

For Birth Control "I've been taking Sprintec for over 2 years, and my pharmacy gave me Milli this month. I couldn't even finish the end of the pack. I've had the worst cramping, headaches, and yeast infection since starting Milli. My doctor said it's the same as Sprintec, but it's terrible. The discomfort totally isn't worth it. But Sprintec, on the other hand, is the way to go!"

For Birth Control "I can't even believe how many negative reviews there are about this pill. I relate to so many. I was 21 taking Sprintec as well for a long time, and it was the best pill I ever took. I am now 22 and have been taking Mili for a little close to a year now because Planned Parenthood on a telehealth call told me that it's the same exact thing. WRONG. Cramps, mood swings, cluster headaches, migraines, bloating, irritability, my anxiety is so high. I never felt this way before. I've been depressed to no end, so insecure within, no motivation. I feel so defeated by this and the doctors who are giving this out. But I guess this is how they get paid, ya know? To keep us coming back. Now I know we shouldn't be taking BC, but I'm 22, trying to be safe until I'm ready, and was told this birth control helps with PCOS patients. I am done. I deserve better. 12/28/21 is my appointment with a real GYN. I can't wait to get this problem fixed up. DO NOT TAKE THIS PILL, LADIES... PLEASE. THIS IS NOT A “GENERIC” OPTION AS THEY SAY. THIS IS TORTURE."

For Birth Control "Started Sprintec in 2016. I've never been on another form of birth control. Lots of headaches when I first started, to the point where I had to take a few days off of class. When it was discontinued this year, I was switched to Mili (exact same dosage and ingredients). I haven't noticed any difference whatsoever, so I'm not sure what other reviews are talking about. When I started the medication in 2016, I also suffered from adverse mental health effects and weight gain, but I had just started college and was diagnosed with other health issues that could have caused these symptoms. In all, I feel fine, and I don't have any babies, so I'm satisfied!"

For Birth Control "I started Mili almost a month ago, and it’s probably one of the worst experiences that I’ve gone through. I never had period cramps before, but when I started taking this medication, it was every day. The worst pain. I couldn’t sleep well at all. Headaches at night, my bleeding is still very heavy, and I went through a pack of pads for one whole day. Constantly staining and having to clean the bathroom every day. Also, the fatigue. I slept for almost the entire day and still felt so tired. I'm still bleeding, but I’m definitely switching brands, this is ridiculous."
