For Birth Control "I, like many others on here, switched to Mili due to the Sprintec shortage. I definitely have the same issues many have: yeast infections (never had one until I switched to Mili), weight gain, acne, heavier periods, cramps, headaches, tender breasts. I even waited the 3 months for my body to regulate on Mili (per my doctor's instruction), and honestly, each month, a symptom got worse. I went to my gynecologist, and they are switching me back to Sprintec with a note that says not to substitute. Definitely not happy with Mili."

For Birth Control "I was on Sprintec, but since they stopped making Sprintec, I was switched to Mili. I HATE THIS PILL. I’m constantly sad and have random emotional outbursts and cry for no reason. TMI, but it makes my boobs and nipples super sore for no reason. I don’t feel like myself, and I get cramps and abdominal pain after I start each new pack and all the way through the pack. When I’m on my period, I feel completely normal (placebo week). I feel terrible all the time, and if you are someone that worries about getting pregnant, even though taking this birth control and Plan B or backup method, then these symptoms suck."

For Birth Control "It worked for a while for me because this was my 1st conception pill, and I knew that the mood swings and headaches would occur. The nausea here and there, whatever. But my issue is, twice now, I bleed for about 2 weeks every month so far. It's annoying because I end up not feeling like myself every time, and I never know when the bleeding will stop. My period comes for 5 days, then I'm still bleeding. Cramping! Headache! For 2 months now because I started in May, now it's July. And I refuse to have sex while bleeding, so it's a cock block as well. I think I'm done with, tbh."

For Birth Control "I, unlike others, haven’t experienced mood swings with this, or severe weight gain, or horrible acne, but it has increased my breakouts. However, this is the worst thing I’ve ever been in my life. I started BC years ago for my cramps, but have changed over the years because they stopped working for my cramps. I was put on this, and I get my period every other week, and on top of that, my cramps are worse than they were before I was even on BC. I literally cry from pain and can’t move and sleep all day."

For Birth Control "I started taking the Mili pill at the end of January after having an incredibly bad period that month, with horrible cramps that I had never felt before. I started birth control so I could pretty much immediately offset that, and so far it hasn't been too bad. I have definitely noticed mood changes; I'm crying, which I don't really do, and my regular anxiety and irritability levels were increased. I'm about to start taking the sugar pill week, and I'm hoping my cramps subside, but even the week before, I have been feeling very slight cramps and have had some breakthrough bleeding over the past few days."

For Birth Control "I went on the birth control after being off hormones for about 5 years while having kids. I gave this drug two months before calling it quits. The first month I had unbearable nausea. The second month I had persistent headaches, and the worst part was the bleeding. Breakthrough spotting turned into a 12-day period leading up to my actual period, so I had only one week period-free the whole second month. Not to mention it was related to cramping, which I never have. Going to try a pill with more progesterone, but Mili was a disaster for me."

For Birth Control "This birth control is terrible. I was switched from Sprintec after taking it for 6 years, and I’ve been on Mili for 3 months, and I’m miserable. Random cramping throughout the month, irregular periods, bloating like crazy, and breaking out like crazy! I haven’t had acne for about 4 years, and now I’m breaking out bad. I do not recommend this birth control at all. I will be calling my doctor immediately."

"I’m not usually the type to write a review, but I feel strongly about this. I was on Spintec for years and was very happy. My periods were painless, easy, and very light. My hormones were not out of control, and I had no side effects. CVS told me it was discontinued and gave me Mili. This pill is HORRIBLE. I have severe cramps, they are gut-wrenching, and my lower back aches so bad I sweat. I have a constant underlying headache, right behind my eye is just sore. My mood swings are outrageous, I have no control over my emotions. Normally, I’m a very happy person, even while on my period, last month, I sank into a dark place. This month, same thing, but it only lasted two days. I slept for four hours on Saturday, and I woke up still tired. Another side effect I’ve had is I’m starving ALL THE TIME. I eat nonstop. It’s literally never enough food. This pill has changed my body for the worst."

For Birth Control "I just finished my first cycle on Mili. I have always experienced irregular periods and recently started getting bad acne on my back and arms. Mili was the first time I was able to predict my period, which was awesome! My acne started to go away, overall, I felt fine-just cramping the first few days. My period on Mili is a different story. The first day of my period was uncomfortable but manageable. The second day I felt fine until around dinner, when my stomach really started to cramp. Took some Advil and called it a night. The third day was the worst I've ever had my period. Around 3:00, after feeling fine all day, I broke into a random cold sweat, started getting shaky, and barely made it to the bathroom to vomit. My 30-minute drive home, I was praying I wouldn't crash as my nausea was intense and my stomach felt like I had hot coals in there. The rest of my period was touch-and-go, some days better than the other but never as bad as the third day. I'm giving it one more cycle."

For Birth Control "This pill sucks, it makes me hungry 24/7, so I’ve gained 15 pounds just being on this for 3 months. Also, it gives me zero sex drive. The periods are brutal, with extreme cramping to where I can't get out of bed. I don’t recommend."

For Birth Control "First birth control I ever started, and before, I never had trouble with terrible cramping, just mild cramping on the first day, and I only got on this birth control to regulate my periods. At first, it was great, there were no effects. Then, a week after taking it, I started noticing spotting, and that lasted for a week. Then I got on my period, this has to be the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life, and no pain pills help. I’ve tried ibuprofen 800 and naproxen 500. If this is your first time on birth control and this is the pill you're prescribed, just be prepared for unbearable cramps day and night."

For Birth Control "I made an account just to make sure to share this-this pill is garbage. I started taking it for ovarian cysts and was originally prescribed Sprintec, but I was given Mili instead. This is my first time on birth control, and I've been on Mili for four months now. It gives me horrible heartburn (which I've never had), and the weirdest side effect is pelvic/vaginal soreness when I restart the pack every month. It causes mild burning and just an off feeling. It's not excruciating, but definitely present. I've had so many doctors tell me this isn't a side effect of birth control-but the consistency and timing of these symptoms suggest otherwise. I am negative for any kind of infection. It's just the effect it has on me at the beginning of the month. I've also experienced cramping, heavier periods, extreme breast tenderness, dizziness, extreme hunger, and I am tired all the time. I can sleep for 13 hours straight and wake up tired."

For Birth Control "I was recently on a different birth control for 5 years, but my body got too used to it, so I changed to Mili. I never had any crazy side effects. No mood swings, no weight gain, no breakthrough bleeding, etc. I felt the exact same. Maybe some cramping in the first week. I truly was so happy because I was so scared of changing to a new one. Until 2 months later, I started breaking out like crazy. It's been a year, and I'm still breaking out like crazy. I've never had acne, and now I'm left with all these pimples and scarring. I am not switching to a birth control meant to treat acne, so I won't have this problem. Everyone is different, but this was my experience."

For Birth Control "I started taking this medication a couple of weeks ago. For some reason it was prescribed to me, and I usually take Estaryla or Sprintec for birth control. A couple of days ago, I noticed I was getting my period still on the pill because I usually skip my placebo weeks in order to not get my period, and it wasn’t just spotting, it was like a full period. Then I started getting cramps, and as the days go by, they have gotten a lot worse. My acne has also been pretty bad the last couple of weeks, but I didn’t know it was related until reading these responses. I am lying in bed right now, and I can’t sleep because my cramps are so bad, and I’ve been throwing up. I’m going to stop taking."

"Do not recommend. Like many others, I was switched from Sprintec to Mili. I had been taking Sprintec for 5 years before, and my body did not appreciate the switch. During the 4-month period I was taking Mili, I gained 10 pounds and suffered extreme bloating. My cramps and period got way heavier, and my acne came back. I was overall in a slump and could not figure out why until I checked the timeline of when I started to feel bad and realized it started when I was switched. I now have an IUD and have already noticed an increase in energy and a significant decrease in bloating."

For Birth Control "I was switched to Mili from Sprintec, and my flow became even lighter and had no cramping. It was nice, to say the least. One thing I didn't like was that I couldn't skip a period because I'd pay for it with two weeks of bleeding. (I only skip maybe once a year.)"

For Birth Control "This was the worst birth control ever! I’m currently taking Mili to control my PCOS. While taking the pill, my hair stopped growing, I’m nauseous, have terrible headaches, spotting, acne, diarrhea, cramping, bloating, weight gain, depression, anxiety, breast tenderness, and pregnancy symptoms daily! I never had any of these symptoms or side effects with any other birth control from the pill, Mirena, or injection. I felt so alone until I read these reviews. I thought I was just stressed from work and mom life. This needs to be banned!!"

For Birth Control "Insane bloating and cramping! I keep asking them not to put me on this birth control, but they keep prescribing it. I am so emotional and get nauseous and have stomach issues on my period."
