For Birth Control "I had been on several birth controls that gave me bad side effects such as weight gain, water retention, and nausea to the point of puking. Once I went on this one, the side effects went away, and I have been on this one for a few years with no issues."

For Birth Control "I would not recommend this to anyone. This was prescribed as a substitute to Sprintec and has made me extremely nauseous during the 7 days I’ve been on it. So sick to the point I had to take time off work before finally stopping the dosage. My acne has also gotten worse, and my stomach is bloated and painful. These are the most extreme side effects I’ve had from a birth control in over 12 years of taking various brands. Would give a negative score if possible."

For Birth Control "This birth control is horrible!!! I was on Sprintec for almost 9 years, and then all of a sudden my pharmacy started giving me Mili. The first month I took it, I missed one pill by 12 hours and bled for two weeks straight. Starting on the first day of the second month, I got extremely nauseous that I didn’t eat for eight whole days. My anxiety skyrocketed as well. I was crying all the time, weak, and exhausted. I missed a whole week of work because I couldn’t stand without getting lightheaded. My anxiety was so bad that I started seeing a counselor. Then, I got my period, and everything went back to normal. Called my pharmacy right away and demanded to go back onto my old BC."

For Birth Control "I took this medicine for a few months and had the worst anxiety I have ever had - and I never had anxiety before taking this. It also made me extremely nauseous and feel like I was going to faint all the time. I wouldn’t recommend this medication to anyone. I’ve been off for 3 weeks and I am slowly starting to feel like myself again."

For Birth Control "This is the worst experience I've ever had with a birth control, or any medicine for that matter. I've been on it for two weeks, and it's making me miserable. I haven't eaten in 3 days because the nausea is so severe. Cold water is the only thing I can even think about keeping down. I've become very depressed and am much more anxious than I was before. I've had these problems in the past, but they were well controlled, and this medicine has set me back. I've stopped taking the pills and cannot wait for it to fully leave my body."

For Birth Control "The first night I took this birth control, I threw up, but my body was just adjusting, and that was expected. The more you eat with it, the better you will feel, for me, that's how it was at least. I became a bit more emotional in the couple of weeks after I started it, but that went down with time. Overall, I think it's about as good as birth control can be."

For Birth Control "I was originally on Sprintec for almost a year when I was abruptly switched to Estarylla by my pharmacy for a month and then to Mili, which I have been taking for the past 3 months or so. I was worried that these switches would cause me to have bad side effects since I had nausea and breast pain when I first started Sprintec, however, I couldn't even tell that I had switched medications. I have occasionally spotted, mostly right before or after my placebo week, but that happened on my other birth control pills as well. I haven't attempted to skip a period because of the spotting, but overall, I have no complaints about Mili, and the transition between birth control pills was not bad at all."

For Birth Control "I was switched from Sprintec to Mili and just realized today that Mili is causing the many issues I've been experiencing over the last couple of months. I never thought to look at the reviews. I am almost finished with my third pack. Irregular bleeding and spotting, then having a large breakthrough period when it wasn't the right time to have one. Random nausea and fullness. I haven't had acne since I was a teenager and have been experiencing awful skin for the last couple of months. Mood swings, easily tearful (very abnormal for me). I feel exhausted most of the time and experience headaches regularly. I've never written a medication review, but all of these things have happened since starting Mili and have gotten worse, not better, since continuing to take it."

For Birth Control "Like many other recent reviewers, I was switched from Sprintec to Mili when my pharmacy ran out of Sprintec. I've never had any issues with Sprintec (I've taken it for four years). After I started taking Mili, I made it a total of 4 days before I called the pharmacy and begged them to switch me back. I started the first pack of Mili on Sunday night, and by the next morning, I was experiencing severe waves of nausea and a headache. Every day until I switched back to Sprintec, I felt incredibly nauseous and would waver between extreme hunger and having no appetite due to the nausea. I definitely would not recommend this as an alternative to Sprintec--or at all."

For Birth Control "I had the same experience as a lot of people in these reviews, I was switched to Mili from Sprintec after my pharmacy was out of my Sprintec. My pharmacist assured me it was the same exact thing and same ingredients. It does not feel like that at all. This drug is probably the worst thing I have put in my body. It made my depression 100 times worse, I have had cramps for the past two weeks, and I keep having periods of nausea and feeling fatigued. I feel like a completely different person. This makes me never want to take the pill again."

For Birth Control "This was my first experience with birth control, and it was so awful! I took it for a month and a few days, and there were two nights I woke up in the middle of the night throwing up because it made me so nauseous. I have healthy periods with barely any bad symptoms naturally, but with taking this pill, my breasts had excruciating pain and I had strong cramps. The constant nausea was the absolute worst. Every woman’s body is different, but this did not work for me by any means! I’m so happy my doctor told me to stop immediately!"

For Birth Control "I was switched to Mili after being on Sprintec for 2 years, and it was the worst! I started having terrible chin acne like never before, and it still hasn’t gone away after being on Mili for about 6 months. Now I'm 2 months back onto Sprintec and still can’t fix my acne from the pill. I had nausea, spotting here and there, and my moods were terrible. I was so irritable and anxious my boyfriend thought something was seriously wrong with me. I don’t recommend this pill at all."

For Birth Control "I switched to Mili when they discontinued Sprintec, and it is absolutely the worst thing! Since starting Mili, I am tired all the time, I'm always irritable, and I have nausea like I did while pregnant. I have an appointment in a couple of days and plan on asking my provider to change me to something else."

"I have been on this pill for 4 months now. So far, so good. I was on Larissa for a little over a year, but I gained a lot of weight, so I decided to get off of birth control for a while. I got back on birth control because my cramps are horrible and I wanted to be protected against pregnancy. This pill has been so much better than Larissa! I have not gained a single pound, only lost 5! The only side effects I have experienced are slight mood swings the first couple of months and being sleepy sometimes with light nausea, but those symptoms have gone away after I completed my 3rd pack."

For Birth Control "This is the worst! I have been on Sprintec or Estarylla for 5+ years due to extreme stage 4 endometriosis. Right after my 6-hour excision, Walgreens switched me over to Mili. I had 3 weeks of Estarylla that I took after the surgery and started on the Mili when I ran out. I have bled ever since, and the pain I’m experiencing is insane! I had severe pain every day before Sprintec, and it was a literal lifesaver for me. My face has broken out horribly, and I cannot get it under control. The intense nausea this pill has caused is forcing me to take Zofran around the clock. The migraines I’ve been experiencing are debilitating. I’m on it through the placebos, and yet I’m still bleeding and developing cysts, which the Sprintec helped avoid. I feel like the results of that very expensive surgery were ruined thanks to this switch. I guess on the upside, I lost 15 lbs, but that’s mainly because I can’t eat anything anymore, even though I am starving! I hate this pill."

For Birth Control "This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had taking a medication. I only took it for two days, and I am still sick! I was put on Mili to help regulate my periods, and I was a bit skeptical...the last time I was on the pill, it made me a little sick, but nothing like this. I can't sleep but feel exhausted and drained, severely anxious, awful stomach pain and nausea, and have a tight feeling in my chest. Please, ladies, do your research before you start this medication, and if you are smart, please do not take it!!!!"

For Birth Control "I just started taking Mili 3 months ago, and so far, so good! I think people forget it takes a month, sometimes 2, for your body to get used to a new medication. I was VERY nauseous the first time I started taking it. The side effects will tell you this is normal if you read them! Now, I don't get nauseous, and my period is less painful and shorter than before. The only thing I don't like is that it makes my boobs hurt the week before my period, but that's nothing compared to pregnancy!"

For Birth Control "DO NOT TAKE THIS BIRTH CONTROL! I was on Sprintec for 2 years, my pharmacy switched my birth control to Mili because they could not get Sprintec in stock. Since being on the medication for 4 months, I have gained weight, stayed nauseous, have extreme bloating, and heavier periods."

For Birth Control "DO NOT USE THIS. I was taking Kariva for over a year, and within two weeks of starting Mili, I’ve been extremely nauseous, have headaches, bloating, and it makes me feel like rubbish. I’m switching back to Kariva. I had no side effects whatsoever from that one. Mili made me feel horrible."

For Birth Control "It worked for a while for me because this was my 1st conception pill, and I knew that the mood swings and headaches would occur. The nausea here and there, whatever. But my issue is, twice now, I bleed for about 2 weeks every month so far. It's annoying because I end up not feeling like myself every time, and I never know when the bleeding will stop. My period comes for 5 days, then I'm still bleeding. Cramping! Headache! For 2 months now because I started in May, now it's July. And I refuse to have sex while bleeding, so it's a cock block as well. I think I'm done with, tbh."

For Birth Control "I went on the birth control after being off hormones for about 5 years while having kids. I gave this drug two months before calling it quits. The first month I had unbearable nausea. The second month I had persistent headaches, and the worst part was the bleeding. Breakthrough spotting turned into a 12-day period leading up to my actual period, so I had only one week period-free the whole second month. Not to mention it was related to cramping, which I never have. Going to try a pill with more progesterone, but Mili was a disaster for me."

For Birth Control "I have a lot of nausea in my first week. I threw up a few times so far, and I’m pretty weak. I started taking this medication for cyst prevention specifically, but I have a really rough period that it is supposed to help with too. I’ve just recently started taking Mili, so take this with a grain of salt since I’m not sure if these side effects will dissipate. I’ve never been on birth control before, so my body isn’t used to any other hormone schedule. I’ll come back with an update on how I feel."

For Birth Control "I was on Sprintec for a year and never had any bad side effects. My doctor gave me Mili and said that they were the same medicine and that nothing should change. I've been taking it for less than a week, and I have had headaches, horrible nausea, acne breakouts, and I'm always tired. DO NOT get fooled into thinking that Mili and Sprintec are the same thing, they are not."
