For Birth Control "I took this birth control for 3 years. I’m so glad I got off it. I can’t believe how stupid I was not to see the correlation between my destroyed relationships and erratic behavior and this pill. I trusted the medical industry so much and never even thought to ask my doctor about it. Even though I went ballistic and wanted to hurt myself regularly, I thought it was just my problem for some mystery reason, like “depression” or “still getting over a breakup!” because I’m a “woman”! If you’re behaving like you’re possessed or have any anxiety, it’s not you, it’s the pill. Since I stopped taking it, I haven’t had a single issue or anxiety attack or anything. Not only that, I started hearing music in my head again. Only once it came back did I realize it had been gone for so long. Never again."

"I was put on Sronyx after my pharmacy was not able to provide me with Aviane. To start off with, I did feel like it was an adjustment going from Aviane to Sronyx. I was on Aviane for 3 months before switching, and I noticed I felt more anxious and short-fused during the first and maybe the second pack of Sronyx. I did notice that I lost weight though (just a few pounds of water weight, I think). I have now taken Sronyx for 3 months and don't really feel like there are negative symptoms. Prior to taking Sronyx, I was SEVERELY depressed around my cycle (PMDD is a real thing) and was having repetitive intrusive thoughts about death. I also had ridiculously painful periods, to the degree the pain would cause me to vomit multiple nights in a row. Three months into taking this pill, the intrusive thoughts are gone, and I just get minor cramps. I honestly feel like I got my life back and could not be happier."

For Birth Control "I have been on Sronyx since giving birth for 6 months now. I noticed a crazy weight gain, my appetite has doubled, and my mood changes constantly. The good part is I have my period like a clock every month, lighter and for about 4-5 days."

For Birth Control "So I've been on this pill for 3 months, and I've noticed my acne getting really bad! I've never had acne before, and now it's so bad. Other than my acne being terrible, the pill has been great. I haven't had any bad symptoms besides the acne. Honestly, if you want to get on a birth control to help you with your acne, then this might not be the right one for you."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I'm a 43-year-old black female and have been dealing with fibroids since 2013. I was told that the BCP would stop the bleeding. I would bleed for 90 days at a time and had to be put on iron pills and stool softener. I've been on them for over 4 months. Two days after I started them, I started bleeding. Now I'm about to have a hysterectomy due to going from 1 fibroid to 7. They didn't shrink at all. I got the last 5 in the last year. I did not break out, but did gain a lot of weight. My doctor wanted me to take them for another 12 months. I said to heck with that! Glad to be off these babies."

For Birth Control "I took this medication for 2 years and found little trouble with it. Occasionally, I would have longer periods, but more often than not, I wouldn't have one at all. On average, I'd say I had a period every 2 months, and every 4th period lasted for a week. I took this as an alternative to most birth controls, which were giving me migraines. This one only gave me a slight headache around the last couple of days of the inactive pills and the first couple of days starting a new month, but nothing too terrible."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I have been taking this pill, Sronyx, for a year now. I had originally started to help regulate my cycle. The first three months were bad! My period was so heavy and a little over 2 weeks long. I asked my doctor for advice, and she told me my body just needed to get used to the pill. So I continued to take it. My periods are about 7-9 days, they still are not predictable, moderate amount of bleeding, however, very painful cramping. I have headaches frequently and have noticed bloating. I also have bad breakouts around the time of my period, like cystic acne. Overall, did not really help me with what I needed, so would not recommend."

For Birth Control "I have only been using this for a little while, and I constantly have bad headaches and drowsiness. This morning in the shower, I lost my vision and felt like I was going to pass out, so I think I'm going to stop taking these pills."

For Birth Control "I started this birth control when I was 17. I got it from a private clinic at my high school. I wanted to be protected and feel safe while having sex. However, the nurse did not warn me of the horrible side effects. A while after I started to get UTIs, something I never ever had before. That’s not the worst part. I started to have the worst anxiety ever. I was having anxiety attacks at night, insomnia, crying for no reason, loss of motivation. It was the worst stage in my life, I was going crazy. I even went to a therapist. I honestly believe that this birth control was causing all these mental problems. I have now stopped taking birth control. The side effects are not worth it, I feel so much better now that I went off it."

For Birth Control "Wanted a low-dose oral BC after being off for about a year and a half. Was rx'd Sronyx from PP. I wanted low-dose because I've dealt with depression before. This pill made me absolutely crazy. I felt okay the first week, but I've never been more irritable, moody, and depressed. I've had anxiety and literally feel like another person. Can't wait for this to clear my system."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I was prescribed Sronyx due to my prolonged period. On May 7th, I had begun to spot, and that led to a long heavy period until today, June 3rd. I went to my OBGYN on May 28th, confirmed non-pregnancy, and began the BC pills the next day on May 29th. I want to note that I take my pills exactly between 6:30 pm and 7 pm with a meal. On the first day of taking this BC, I noticed a change in my mood, which I had become very relaxed and calm within the first 30 minutes, and fell asleep around 9 pm, to be awakened by sharp painful stomach pains by 2 am and bad gas. TMI: I had diarrhea, but noticed on my maxi pad that my period had restricted to a lighter flow and was no longer bright red. The next day, my flow slowed down to spotting by the end of the night, the same calm mood change as the day before, no stomach pains but noticed some bloating and nausea until I ate more food. I spotted less and less each day until this morning - All Clear :)!! So that marks 5 days for this BC pill to help get my prolonged period under control."

For Birth Control "I have been on Sronyx for about a year now, and the only problems I ever had were the moodiness during the first two months and breakthrough bleeding for a month straight. Other than that, I love it. I have no intention of switching. I recommend it."

For Birth Control "I've been on the pill about 3 months. I switched from Nuvaring, which was a nightmare, so at first, I was glad there were way less strong side effects. However, I started birth control pills at 140 lbs. 3 months later, I now weigh 157. I am constantly bloated, and I want to eat like I'm pregnant all the time. I also experience extreme mood swings, which I'm sure are because of the pill (my boyfriend noticed too). My sex drive is almost nonexistent on top of severe vaginal dryness. I also have cramps every time I get up suddenly, which, although they are way less painful than the Nuvaring ones, they are constant. Let's just say I'm getting off this pill next month, and I'm definitely excited."

For Birth Control "I've been taking Sronyx for about 3 weeks. I am on my 4th day on my inactive pills. Last night, I woke up with really bad cramps and to a really heavy period, which has never happened before. My periods before birth control were very light and had no cramping. I've also experienced breast growth and a little weight gain."

For Birth Control "At first, Sronyx birth control was okay. I had no symptoms the first week. The second week, my face broke out in cystic acne on my cheeks. I’ve been battling with trying to clear it up. It’s so ugly, and I’ve never broken out on my cheeks. Now it’s leaving scarring. To add insult to injury, it made me gain 5-7 lbs apparently. I’ve since then stopped taking it and am still dealing with the acne I had. But the only positive is that it made my period lighter and bearable. For once, in an entire year, I didn’t have to change my clothes a thousand times."

For Birth Control "I have been on this birth control for about a year now. (I switched from Lo Loestrin because I was having bad side effects from that pill after being on it for 2 years.) I really do not recommend Sronyx at all. There are zero positives to this birth control besides the fact that it prevents pregnancy. To start, I get horrible mood swings and anxiety the week before my period all the way through to the end of my period. I get massive migraines during my placebo pill week to the point where I have to just go to bed because it hurts to even look at light. Then, in between my period and starting a new month of pills, I get a yeast infection from the hormone imbalance. Other negatives include drying out my vagina, which totally brings my sex drive down, bloating, and breaking out by my chin and jawline (which other reviews say also). Just overall bad. I can't wait to switch off of this one."

For Birth Control "Within the past year, I've swapped birth control 3 times. All in all, I must say the 2 years that I used Sronyx, I had 0 complaints! If I did gain weight, it was minimal, my periods came like clockwork, to the point I could almost gauge the hour it would start. I changed from it being ambitious in the hopes of not having to deal with something every day. Worst mistake ever."

For Birth Control "I've been on Sronyx on and off for about 4 years. I like that it keeps my acne away, but my periods are very, very short and irregular. Like I get a 2-day period. I know some people wouldn't be complaining about that, but before this I had Paragard placed, and my periods were 10-12 days. It doesn't feel normal to only bleed for 2 days, I'd like at least 4 to be healthy. My hair also falls out a lot, and it makes my breasts swell to high heaven. Be careful if you have depression as well, mood swings can be random."

For Birth Control "I started using the pill for the first time 3 months ago due to terrible cramps, periods every 3 weeks lasting 7 days, extreme mood swings, and just overall miserable, painful periods. When I started on Sronyx, I had nausea with mild headaches for the first couple of days. After that, those symptoms went away. My periods still started on the 3rd week, so my periods lasted for 2 whole weeks. This happened for 3 months. I am switching to Seasonique because I need a heavier dosage. Had Sronyx been a little stronger, it would have worked well. My cramps were much more bearable, and the bleeding was less. Overall, it's a good pill, just not the one for me."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I am in my early 40s and have been dealing with severely heavy bleeding, fibroids, and endometriosis. I was prescribed Sronyx after a myomectomy I went through in order to help control my bleeding. However, it hasn't worked for me. It's been 7 months since my procedure and although I had lighter bleeding the first couple of months after the procedure, my symptoms have all resurfaced. I am having heavy bleeding once again with cramps, clots, and it lasts for about 9 days. Perhaps I need to try another pill?"

For Birth Control "I've been taking this birth control since I was 17, and it does work aside from a few side effects. It has been helping with my period, and I've, at one point, caused weight loss. But aside from that, it works better than the shot I used for 6 months."

For Birth Control "My clinic kept switching my pills about a year ago, claiming they were the same but just the generic kind. I was on Sronyx last year for about 6 months. It was fine at first, but then I began to get moody. Constantly angry all the time and was a complete witch to my boyfriend. I'm glad he stuck by me after what I had put him through. I gave this two stars because I did not get pregnant while on this, but the way it made me feel, I will never forget. I wasn't myself, and I'm glad I switched to something better!"

For Birth Control "I have been on these pills since May 2017, and I haven't had side effects, but I would tell you to take them on time every day because you will have breakthrough bleeding, and it can last from a few days to a few weeks. But one thing that I can say is that I have lost weight, and I don't have crazy cravings, no tender breasts, and no headaches. This has been my first time on BC, and I have had a great experience!!!!!"
