For Birth Control "I've been in the pill about 3 months , I switched from Nuvaring which was a nightmare so at first I was glad there were way less strong side effects. However I started birth control pills at 140lbs 3 months later I now weigh 157 . I am constantly bloated and I want to eat like I'm pregnant all the time. I also experience extreme mood swings which I'm sure are because of the pill ( my boyfriend noticed too) My sex drive is almost non existent on top of severe vaginal dryness. I also have cramps every time I get up suddenly , which although they are way less painful than the Nuvaring ones they are constant. Lets just say I'm getting off this pill next month & definitely excited ."

For Birth Control "Was switched to this and had no problems at first. Then after a few months, started having break through bleeding between periods. Went back to the doctor and he determined that there were not enough hormones in this birth control pill for me. This pill has a very low dose of hormones. I suppose if I could not find something better, then I would go back to this."

For Birth Control "I've been on sronyx on and off for about 4 years. I like that it keeps my acne away but my periods are very very short and irregular. Like I get a 2 day period. I know some people wouldn't be complaining about that but before this I had paragard placed and my periods were 10-12 days. It doesn't feel normal to only bleed for 2 days, I'd like at least 4 to be healthy... my hair also falls out a lot and it makes my breasts swell to high heaven. Be careful if you have depression as well, mood swings can be random."

For Birth Control "I had the birth control in my arm for 3 months, I took it our cause I was bleeding constantly. My doctor said I should switched to the pill. I took it for about 3months, I always got my period almost on the same day, I usually had it for more than 5days! I was a healthy 19 year old, I ended up having a stroke while pregnant. I was 7 weeks pregnant ,I lost my balance , I can't walk well, doctors have no explanation for it besides taking the pill. I'm in rehab trying to walk, please don't take this!"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I am in my early 40's and have been dealing with severely heavy bleeding, fibroids, and endometriosis. I was prescribed sronyx after a myomectomy I went through in order to help control my bleeding. However it hasn't worked for me. It's been 7 months since my procedure and although I has lighter bleeding the first couple of months after the procedure, my symptoms have all resurfaced. I am having heavy bleeding once again with cramps, clots, and lasts for about 9 days. Perhaps I need to try another pill?"

For Birth Control "I've been taking this birth control since I was 17 and it does work aside from a few side effects and it been helping with my period and I've at one point caused weight loss but aside from that it works better than the shot I use for 6 months"

For Birth Control "My clinic kept switching my pills about a year ago claiming they were the same but just the generic kind. I was on sronyx last year for about 6 months. It was fine at first but then I began to get moody. Constantly angry all the time and was a complete witch to my boyfriend. I'm glad he stuck by me after what I had put him through. I gave this two stars because I did not get pregnant while on this but the way it made me feel, I will never forget. I wasn't myself and I'm glad I switched to something better!"

For Birth Control "This birth control is AWFUL. I was on it for 3 months, and now it's in the trash. My back hurt constantly, my breasts weren't just "tender" they were painful and it even hurt to gentle touch them. My period came twice a month and the cramps were awful. Even weirder, it made my nipples change color. They were first pink and then brown, which caused quite a panic for me since different colored nipples are a sign of pregnancy. After 5 negative tests and a doctor visit, they chalked it up to birth control. The only positive is that I didn't get pregnant."

For Birth Control "I was switched to Sronyx about a year ago, and at first I didn't notice any negative side effects... but about six months ago, my husband started to point out how mean I got when my period got closer. At first I brushed it off as PMS, but it got worse each month. In high school, before I was on the pill, I never got cramps, or had bad mood swings but now I'm constantly doubled over from cramping, I get irritable, and I NEVER know when my period will actually start. And I would break out like crazy! (I have acne-ridden wedding pictures as proof). The only good thing is that I didn't get pregnant. I'm glad I'm starting a new pill next month."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Sronyx for a little over a month and the first two weeks I was a mess. I would cry over everything, it was hard for me to eat because of the nausea, and I was spotting. After that, even though I spotted for a better portion of the month, I was fine. My period was light, shorter, and less painful. I gained about three pound in those two weeks, but I already lost it. It was a roller coaster but I do recommend this pill just because it helps a boat load after the initial storm. Plus side, I’m also not pregnant and my sex drive stayed the same."

For Birth Control "I started using the pill for the first time 3 months ago due to TERRIBLE cramps, periods every 3 weeks lasting 7 days, extreme mood swings, and just overall miserable, painful periods. When I started on Sronyx I had nausea with mild headaches for the first couple of days. After that those symptoms went away. My periods still started on the 3rd week, so my periods lasted for 2 whole weeks. This happened for 3 months. I am switching to Seasonique, because I need a heavier dosage. Had Sronyx been a little stronger it would have worked well. My cramps were much more bearable and the bleeding was less. Overall it's a good pill, just not the one for me."

For Birth Control "I am a 23-year-old and I actually came here to see if people were having the side effects I was. I have been on the pill for 2 weeks and three days! That’s how quickly it took for me to have crazy paranoia and anxiety. I went to the ER because I was convinced I had a blood clot only for it to be symptoms caused by anxiety. I have chest pains, neck pains, and arm and leg pain. They tested me for DVT and Pulmonary Embolism. Nothing! But that was three days ago and I still feel like I’m gonna die. I’m super dizzy and my right leg swells a little. I stopped immediately because I feel if I kept going I was going to end up with DVT or worse. Just please be careful."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Best birth control ever. My doctor prescribed this to me because of heavy bleeding but I was more interested in the birth control portion of it. I've been on it for 3 months now, the first month and a half, I did break out a little. No more than a pimple or two here or there (I had easy skin to begin with), and only had headaches and nausea the first week or so. No problems with weight gain AT ALL. I'm a fitness freak, so beginning this drug actually worried me. I stand corrected, if anything my six pack is far more visible than it was prior to taking syronx. Did its job as birth control pretty well, but I still try to use duo protection. Overall pleased, thanks tricare."

For Birth Control "I took this birth control about 6 months and I am very moody and I cry over everything that happens to me. I get headaches very easily after I started to take this pills. Everytime I had sex, it wasn't as good as it used to be, and now I've been off for over a month now, and I am not moody, but I have one of the side effect of quitting birth control which is I haven't got period. I am very nervous about this as well."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I have taken this birth control medicine for less than a month and it SUCKS my doctor gave it to me to decrease my cramps and to have lighter periods and I cry all the time about the stupidest things and I’ve been randomly spotting for about a week now. My cramps are not as bad but it makes me an emotional mess and my boobs hurt so bad, running up and down the stairs is a struggle. I have an increased appetite too, which I soon think will result in weight gain even though I’m very active. I don’t recommend but everyone is different."

For Birth Control "At first I thought I loved this pill, the problem with it crept in so subtly I didn't notice it (very similar to a previous complaint on saw on here). I've never had issues with anxiety or depression before taking this. About 7 months into taking the pill my anxiety sky rocketed and I became increasingly depressed. Insomnia also became a consistent problem and I seriously thought I was losing my mind. My relationship with my husband also suffered from these serious side effects as I became extremely moody and would cry for no reason and not understand why. My advice would be to seriously monitor how you feel while on this pill and note any changes in mood - becomes it definitely creeps in slowly."

For Birth Control "I have very mixed feelings about this pill. On one hand... The pros: - No more 7 day, murder scene-like periods. Now they're just 3 or 4 days. - Clearer skin - Less suicidal tendencies - Higher libido. Mind you, it wasn't low beforehand either. However... The cons: - As most of the other commentors have mentioned, weight gain. It's month 9 and I'm pretty sure that I've gained 15-17lbs. - More prone to crying - Cramps. I didn't have those pre-this-BC. Not a fan. - Increased cravings for weird stuff. Like crushed ice and gaucemole, although that may just be my anemia... - Higher libido. This is a two way street. Now that I'm in college and attempting to date, I can't afford to be this horny. Luckily, I have self control. - Moods"

For Birth Control "I tried birth control in college (Lo Estrin) and it was terrible. Mood changes made me act like a demon to my roommates, boobs grew, terrible nausea. Sronyx was recommended by my OBGYN and I love it! I have a gained a little weight and experience nausea from time to time but otherwise I don’t notice any side effects. Tried the generic Nutera and it gave me headaches so yeah they are not the same don’t let the pharmacist tell you otherwise!!"

For Birth Control "This medicine is absolutely terrible. After three months of using it my hair has fallen out so much so that I can see my scalp very visibly and it's very very embarrassing. I stopped taking it and am now considering a copper iud. No more hormones for me."

For Birth Control "I have just finished my Second month on Sronyx. First of all I had clear skin before I started taking this birth control pill, right after I began to take the pills my forehead started to breakout in pimples. I was very unhappy about that but my doctor told me to wait it out for the first 3 months in order for my body to adjust to the hormones. While on my second month I broke out BAD the week before my period but it was due to my period coming up. My only side effect is me breaking out, if it weren't for that I would be giving it a 10! I have no other side effects or mood swings which I love and it actually helps me control my hunger I don't feel as hungry as I did before which has helped me lose about 8 lbs!"

For Birth Control "The best thing this pill Sronyx did was clear my skin. Coming OFF of it however gave me the worst breakouts of my life. I also liked how my sex drive was high/normal using this pill. The one thing it didn’t do was help my cramps. It did for about a year, then my periods went back to how bad they’ve always been. I recommend this nevertheless."

For Birth Control "When I first got the Sronyx birth control pill it literally took me about a week in a half to take it. I was afraid because all the reviews seemed really bad and I didn’t wanna deal with any dramatic changes just yet. I was afraid that I would become depressed and sad. It’s been 3 weeks in and I’m pretty satisfied so far. The only side effects that I've gotten are being a little sensitive, I’ve cried for no reason at times but I mean it’s not that big of a deal and then also feeling bloated. So again they’re not that big of a deal and I think that everyone should give this pill a try because everyone’s body works differently so you don’t know how you’ll react to it unless you take it. Give it a try for at least a month and if you don’t like it, change to something else or get off it completely."

For Birth Control "I am 33 and have been off of birth control for 9 years. Reading reviews for birth control (generally) is terrifying and I really think everyone reacts differently. That said, I was previously on Cryselle-28 and had no negative side effects (also, no pregnancies) but when I stopped taking it, I just felt better. So, this time around, I decided to try a different birth control and went with Sronyx based on online reviews. I am generally in good health and have regular periods, no mental issues, etc. THE GOOD: Sronyx definitely bumped me up half a cup size, no weight gain, no hair loss, no skin change, no pregnancy. THE BAD: turned me into a very unstable version of myself. I was severely anxious, depressed, and experienced panic attacks. This is the first time in my life I've ever experienced such emotional swings and paranoia. I noticed the side effects within days of starting Sronyx. I stayed on it for the full month but nothing improved. Now I am going back to Cryselle!"

For Birth Control "This birth control is probably the best one. It's the first one I tried and I love it. No side effects AT ALL. I am exactly the same as when I was not on it. I have now been on it for 2 months and it has been perfect. Definitely recommend it!"
