For Birth Control "I don’t recommend this birth control at all. At first, I felt like I had no symptoms other than my breasts hurting all the time! But then, as time went on, I realized how it made me start feeling crazy. I have always had anxiety/OCD, but taking this birth control made it unbearable. I had to get on anxiety medicine. I have never felt like more of a mess in my life. Now that I just got off, I already feel so much better. Definitely not doing that again. Oh, and yes, it does give you acne, I’ve never had a problem with breakouts until taking the pill."

For Birth Control "I had to switch from Aviane to Sronyx about 2 weeks ago because my pharmacy ran out of my normal pill, and honestly, I cannot WAIT till this pack is done because I've gotten terrible side effects. I've gotten extreme nausea, crazy discharge, constipation, sore breasts, and daily headaches. I've also been really irritable. I'm scared to see what my period will be like!"

For Birth Control "I have gained 10 pounds. Doesn't affect my mood, but does affect my sex drive a little. Went from a C cup to a double D. Sounds lovely, but my breasts hurt most days out of the week. I eat way more than I used to."

For Birth Control "Listen, do not take this pill, it literally is absolute, utter garbage. My breasts feel like they are getting Naruto kicked every day, my cramps are worse than before I took it, my periods are super irregular, it’s made my acne worse, and don’t even get me started on how this pill has made me actually psycho. If you have depression or anxiety, I don’t suggest taking this because it will make it so much worse."

For Birth Control "I love this BC because it is a low dose. I have not had any negative side effects other than my face wasn't as clear, but it wasn't awful breakouts either. My periods have always been 2-4 days and very regular. I have not had any breast pains or cramping. But everyone is different. I would recommend trying this out, I have been on this for almost 3 years, and I will say if you are switching from a higher dose, then this will be a bumpy transition, but it will fix itself when your hormones get adjusted (I'd say about 2 months, or 2 period cycles). Like I said, it may work for some but not everyone."

For Birth Control "I recommend not taking this medication! I wake up in the middle of the night with nausea and vomiting, breast tenderness that hurts so bad, and also it raised my blood pressure. I had perfect blood pressure until I started taking this medicine. It makes me feel dizzy, I just didn't feel like myself at all."

For Birth Control "I've been using Sronyx for a few months now, and at first, I was iffy about it. I was super moody, my breasts were tender all of the time, and my nose, which hasn't bled in over three years prior to taking it, would bleed like crazy. However, as someone who has suffered from ungodly heavy and painful periods lasting the full seven days, this has been amazing. Cramps, while they still suck, aren't close to half as bad. My period usually lasts about five days and is so much lighter. My breasts are still super tender, but no more nosebleeds, moodiness is back to normal, and not so awful periods."

For Polycystic Ovary Syndrome "Taken the pill for 4 months now, after having no period for 6 months. Since I started the pill, I have had two periods each pack, despite taking the pills like clockwork. I've also developed sore breasts and super painful cyst-like acne all the time. No weight gain, nausea, or blood pressure issues, though. Not going to take this anymore!"

For Birth Control "I have been on these pills since May 2017, and I haven't had side effects, but I would tell you to take them on time every day because you will have breakthrough bleeding, and it can last from a few days to a few weeks. But one thing that I can say is that I have lost weight, and I don't have crazy cravings, no tender breasts, and no headaches. This has been my first time on BC, and I have had a great experience!!!!!"

For Birth Control "This birth control is awful. I was on it for 3 months, and now it's in the trash. My back hurt constantly, my breasts weren't just 'tender', they were painful, and it even hurt to gently touch them. My period came twice a month, and the cramps were awful. Even weirder, it made my nipples change color. They were first pink and then brown, which caused quite a panic for me since different colored nipples are a sign of pregnancy. After 5 negative tests and a doctor visit, they chalked it up to birth control. The only positive is that I didn't get pregnant."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I have taken this birth control medicine for less than a month, and it SUCKS. My doctor gave it to me to decrease my cramps and to have lighter periods, and I cry all the time about the stupidest things. I've been randomly spotting for about a week now. My cramps are not as bad, but it makes me an emotional mess, and my boobs hurt so bad. Running up and down the stairs is a struggle. I have an increased appetite too, which I soon think will result in weight gain, even though I'm very active. I don't recommend, but everyone is different."

For Birth Control "Well, I've been on Sronyx for about 9 months now. I was prescribed this as a change from my old birth control (can't recall the name). The only reason why I changed was because the pill would make me hate my boyfriend, and I would be in the worst mood all the time. The change has definitely been worth it. I didn't gain weight with either pill or break out. My boobs would get tender and really sensitive, but I guess that's normal. I'm definitely not as moody as before."

For Birth Control "This birth control is the absolute worst. I have had a past with acne and I’ve been so insecure about it, and when I got on birth control, I was so excited that it could help my acne, and then it made it 20 times worse. My acne has never been this bad in my life! It’s also made me extremely angry all the time for no reason and made my breasts hurt so bad to the point where I couldn’t touch them without feeling like they were covered in bruises. Do not recommend."

"I first started on this pill when I was 16, and it was perfect with no side effects. Now I'm 19, and I experienced some minor side effects. My breasts were extremely sore for the first month, and I got bloated. I'm not sure if my appetite changed on its own, but my belly was really puffy. Needless to say, on the last day of my inactive pill, I was peeing a bunch every 2 seconds, and my bloating was reduced. Other than that, it shortened and lightened my period, and I had fewer cramps."

For Birth Control "I've been on birth control for 7 years. Every couple of years, I end up having to change it because even though it worked for a year, I start bleeding all the time. I started taking Sronyx about 2 months ago, and I've opted to just stop altogether while my husband is deployed. Since taking this, I have been bleeding, my boobs hurt so bad, even wearing a bra hurts, and I'm so nauseous I feel like I'm constantly running to the bathroom. I also have very bad acid reflux and heartburn, which I haven't had in about 4 years. And after reading some of the other reviews, I realized how moody I've been. Not to my husband, thank god, but to everyone else. I have also noticed I want bad food all the time. I don't recommend."

For Birth Control "I was on Sronyx for 2 years, and I never had any issues with it. It did lighten my periods, as well as shorten them. I was sexually active for those 2 years, and I never got pregnant, so it did its job. I did notice some months I got pretty bad breast tenderness during my period, but it wasn't every single month."

For Birth Control "The pharmacist just gave me Sronyx as a replacement for what I was previously taking, and I’ve been on Sronyx for a week and a half. My breasts have never hurt so terribly in my life, specifically the nipples. This has made it extremely painful to the touch. I feel as though my breasts are heavy and engorged, and I’m not pregnant. I do not recommend it at all."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I was prescribed Sronyx to regulate my hormones after having prolonged bleeding. I have spotted several times while on this pill, and it makes my breasts so sore! I'm glad the doctor switched me to something else."

For Birth Control "I started on Sronyx when I was 15 because I had bad clotting while on my period and it was very heavy. By far my favorite birth control out there made me lose almost 20 lbs within 2 months and made me feel awesome. No bad side effects and did the job, had hardly any cramps and no heavy bleeding. Then when I was 17, I got switched to Ortho Tri-Cyclen, absolutely the worst. Gained 5 lbs within my first cycle. My boobs felt tender and gave me the worst mood swings. And always had a craving. It was like I could never get full, my appetite was through the roof. Then on my first cycled period, it gave me clotting and cramps that made me not even want to move. So bad my back and lower stomach ached. So that resulted in me immediately switching back to Sronyx."

For Birth Control "I am finishing my third pack of Sronyx, and I love it. I didn't really have any problems adjusting. The first month, I did experience breast pain, one week of irritability, and just a couple of days of spotting. I had a couple of zits pop up around my period when I was off of the active pills. By the end of the second month, my skin is fine! I can honestly say this is a really good starter birth control pill. The low dose of hormones makes the transition very easy. My advice: of course, you will most likely experience some sort of side effect because of the hormones. Don't let the fear of a couple of zits or a few hormonal days keep you from trying it. It's worth it."
