For Birth Control "I'm 6 weeks into this pill. I have PMDD and treat it with other medication, but it makes me sad and depressed even with the other medication. The anxiety is through the roof. This pill makes me so tired. I also have horrible night sweats every night. I also can't sleep. The insomnia is awful. Headaches every day. I have spent the last month trying to figure out what my deal was, and it's this awful pill. I thought I may have had another condition. The idea of 4 periods a year is amazing, but this pill just isn't worth it. I am stopping this pill ASAP and hoping that everything returns to normal in a few days. Oh, and the fact that I have completely lost my sex drive! Yeah, that sucks too. I just want to sleep and not sweat at night."

For Birth Control "Been taking this for a year, and my body never regulated to it. I spotted through almost the whole pack, every single time. Sexual intercourse became painful for me. This has personally been the worst experience with birth control for me. I thought it would have been nice having a 91-day cycle, but given that I have bled through over 65 days of it, it is just absolutely not worth it."

For Birth Control "Been on this for 4 years; started about 2 months after dating my boyfriend. Occasional spotting, but nothing compared to what others have described. I am fortunate in that I have always had extremely light periods anyway, and there hasn't really been a change except for frequency. No weight gain, and no acne or hair loss or any of the other things people have unfortunately described. The only thing I've noticed is a significant decrease in libido. Like, went from 100 to zero within weeks of starting the pill. By the time I figured out it wasn't going away, I was too hesitant to switch since it's the only side effect, and any BC is a gamble, so I just deal with it."

For Birth Control "I love the fact of not having a period for 3 months, but there is absolutely NO sex drive during the whole three months of taking the pill except for the first week after your period. I had breakthrough bleeding for about a month, but it stopped after I started the next pack. I have no other side effects, but the whole no sex drive thing kinda sucks."

For Birth Control "I have been on this for over a year, and I am sad that it isn't working for certain things. I have a very light 3-4 day period every time, no breakthrough bleeding, no cramps, headaches, or anything else! My skin cleared up immensely. The three biggest problems were the fact that ever since I have been on this, I have absolutely no sex drive at all, I have been so depressed and down, and I gained 20 pounds because of the hormone levels. I would still be on it if the couple side effects I have weren't so large."

For Birth Control "I've been on Camrese for about a year now, and it's the best birth control I've had yet. All the others, I bled for months and had super crazy mood swings. The only thing that really sucks about it is that I have no sex drive. But the fact that I only have a period every 3 months makes up for it. Every so often, I'll get some really light bleeding, but it's not even enough to validate wearing a tampon for."

For Birth Control "I wouldn't even rate this oral contraceptive as high as 1 out of 10. I was prescribed this by my doctor for birth control as well as issues with P.M.S. This medication is horrible. Upon starting it, my depression was off the charts, I was so irritable that people closest to me asked, 'Why am I so miserable?' I had acne breakouts, which I have not had since the age of 15, so 12 years later and not sexy outbreaks. My sex drive went to zero. Insomnia constantly. When I did get my period, Jesus, heavy flow, fatigue, fever-like feeling/hard time getting out of bed and functioning, and cramps worse than without being on this med. The PMS is horrible. This website won't let me write more. Hair loss as well. 4 periods a month is not worth this med."

For Birth Control "I've been taking this for 6 months (just got my 3rd package) in order to control the bleeding from my Nexplanon implant (a whole different, hormonal and acne-driven story). I can't tell if the birth control cleared my skin, or simply leaving teenagehood and entering adulthood did. Either way, it's done its job as far as controlling the bleeding caused by the implant. Libido seems lower (except on the period pill lol), but I can't say for sure if it's the medication or not. No weight gain, no change in breast size, less acne (not attributing it to the medication though), and no mood issues. It does its job. 7/10 because by the time the 3rd month comes around I get some spotting before I even start the period pills, although I don't really care that much."

For Birth Control "I've been on this birth control for about 4 years now, and the very beginning of it was hard. I was young, so I wasn't paying attention to how my body was reacting, but looking back, it made me hungry with a huge appetite, and I had spotting for almost a month straight. The doctor said it was normal, and I just needed to adjust. I've been on this medication since, and I think it's great. Only giving 9/10 because I do get frequent spotting when I'm not supposed to, but what do you expect from something that only makes you have your period every 3 months. The other major downfall of this medication is that I completely lost my sex drive."

For Birth Control "It was not worth it. I had to stop it after two months. I had side effects of severe depression, extreme anxiety (which also affected my sleep - yet I was always exhausted), lethargy, no sex drive whatsoever, irritability... I wanted to eat 24/7 even when I was full to the point of being sick. My hair fell out/shed WAY more than usual. It did not help my acne. The only thing it did was prevent pregnancy, yet it made me more susceptible to yeast infections due to strange discharge. I would dread taking it every day. It made my boobs a lot bigger, but the other fluid retention and weight gain canceled it out. I’m done with birth control for a while... back to heavy, painful periods."

For Birth Control "I have had horrible acne since taking this birth control. All over my body, acne. I didn't realize it could be the birth control until I read a bunch of other reviews on it. My boobs hurt all the time!! No sex drive whatsoever! I don't even want my husband to touch me because my boobs hurt so bad. Needless to say, I sympathize with some of the other reviewers on this birth control. I will be talking to my doctor to switch to something else. The only good part about it is not getting my period for 3 months."

For Birth Control "After having a baby, I was looking for a birth control pill and excited about the fact that I would only get my period every 3 months. After 5 days, however, I had gained weight, felt bloated, had headaches all the time, very low libido, insomnia, and crazy mood swings. Threw the pills in the trash because I couldn’t stand it anymore. I’m sure this brand works for some, but definitely not for me."

For Birth Control "I’ve always had horrible period cramps, and this is the second pill brand I’ve tried. I haven’t stopped bleeding since I started taking this pill, and my sex drive is at 0."

For Birth Control "Took this for only 3 weeks before having to stop. Caused a lump in my right breast, sad mood, daily constant nausea, and no sex drive."
