For Birth Control "I am taking this to try and prevent 9-15 monthly migraines. I do not need it for birth control, I've had a tubal ligation and a uterine ablation to prevent extremely heavy menstrual cycles. I am on week 9 of this medicine. From week 2 to the present, I've had extreme left breast tenderness and nausea, weeks 3-5 I had gross brown discharge. From week 5 to the present, I've had a heavier than normal menstrual cycle. My doctor says to give it time, that it takes sometimes at least 3-6 months. If this was just for birth control, I would have switched because there are so many other options available. I am waiting this out only because I have such severe migraines. I am still having migraines, but they're not as severe."

For Birth Control "I have taken Camrese for 5 years now. The first few months were difficult as my body adjusted to the new hormones. The typical nausea and mood swings. However, by the 6th month of taking it, I was feeling great! I experience no side effects from the pill. My libido is high, weight gain only 5-10 lb difference than pre-pill weight, and my periods are more manageable. So far, 100% pregnancy protection. Because I only have a period 3-4 times a year, my life is so much easier. No more missing work, debilitating cramps, or scheduling around periods for travel days and beach fun. If you do not mind pushing through the first couple of months of hormonal changes (everyone is affected differently), then I highly recommend this brand."

For Birth Control "When I first started this medication, the whole first month, I would feel super nauseous and sick. This continued for about a month. I had no spotting at all until the 3rd month. My spotting lasted about 3 weeks until I finished my first 3 months and had my first period. Those would be the only downsides this has given me. The positives, though, are that I have had zero cramps, which is huge considering I used to have horrible ones. It has also cleared up all my acne, and my periods only last about 3 days. I have been on this for about 5 months now, and it is great to me."

For Birth Control "I just started using this BC, and it has been horrible. I was told to just push through it and that the pain would go away after the first full month. I constantly have cramps (as if I'm starting my period) and I feel nauseous every other day. I'm also starting to develop headaches frequently, but not sure if that's directly correlated."

For Birth Control "This pill works great for me, but I had to deal with around three months of dizziness and nausea before everything balanced out. I no longer have mood swings, and my cramps are minimal. My periods are also shorter and less bloody, but in the beginning, they were really painful and heavy. If you can't handle the difficulty in the beginning, I don't suggest this."

For Birth Control "I've been on this birth control for 3 months now (just got through my first pack), and honestly, I have very little complaints. I haven't gained weight, no spotting, no nausea or dizziness, no change in libido. However, I did notice that I've become much more emotional since I started Camrese. It used to be kind of hard to make me cry, now I will at the drop of a hat, but for me, the pros outweigh the cons majorly."

For Birth Control "This birth control made me miserable. By the completion of the first week, I started to get these crippling headaches, nausea, and dizziness. I also experienced a couple of episodes of serious night sweats. I was extremely sad the entire time I was on it. To top all of that off, I never stopped bleeding! That's right, I've been bleeding for 3 weeks straight and counting. Finally, my mother and husband had to force me off the stuff because they saw how miserable I was. The only positive was that my skin cleared up a great deal. It just wasn't for me."

For Birth Control "So I originally started on Camrese for dealing with my heavy flow/painful periods (like super painful), and when I started, I was bleeding for over 2 weeks!! I hated it. It wasn't a lot of blood, more like light, but it was frustrating as I was not comfortable with having to wear pads all the time, so I went to my doctor, and she prescribed Junel FE. It was terrible, I had irritability, nausea, etc. So I asked to go back to Camrese, and it worked for the first 5 months, no problem, but then I had spotting again. So I asked for a new pill, but that made my period twice as heavy flow. I then asked my doctor if I could have the same hormones in Camrese but for monthly and not yearly, but she said I can do that myself. I love it now!"

For Birth Control "For the first 6 months of this pill, I was super excited to be rid of my period; I've had heavy flows since my second son and thought I'd found the cure for the 2.5-3 weeks of menstrual chaos that was the up and down of my hormones and then the 6-8 days of bleeding (3 of those days being extremely heavy)... I was wrong. I'm over a year into use and 22 lbs heavier than my normal, no fuss weight, nauseous randomly through my days, have breast tenderness, feel like I'm having strange heart palpitations (I do not smoke, nor consume tobacco products), exhausted to the point that I thought I'd developed an autoimmune disease, my immune system is on high alert and I'm breaking out in rashes like crazy. I'm on a high dose of Wellbutrin that's always allowed me to maintain a healthy weight and stay away from too many problem foods; doesn't matter while on this birth control. I don't like this and I'm done. My husband smells different; I'm not interested in sex 80% of the time. Like, what is the point?"

For Birth Control "Been on this for almost 2 months. I took it while I started my period, stopped bleeding for two days and spotted for another 2 weeks, and been fine since then. But I did experience nausea, but importantly, depression. I'm stopping because I'm so down and out, and I haven't finished the 3-month pack. Overall, I really like this birth control, but I can't deal with this depression."
