For Birth Control "I was very excited to start this and get a hold of my endometriosis, but as soon as I started this, I started breaking out, gaining weight, couldn’t sleep anymore, my anxiety became so much worse than it had been, bleeding every day, cramping off and on, and headaches. It has made me feel crazy, and I just stopped taking it. I’m praying this goes away fast. I am highly disappointed."

For Birth Control "I've been on this for about three months now. The first month and a half were great. No mood swings, no spotting or headaches, or depression, but then I got into my third month and was experiencing breakthrough bleeding a lot and then had several blood clots. And I am still having spotting. I've been depressed, acne is horrible, I have horrible food cravings, not to mention awful cramps to where I can't even move. I want to continue and try to see if it gets better, but I am just having the worst time with this and am miserable that I am over taking this. I know for some it has worked and maybe if I stick it out it will get better, but I have no interest in continuing with this bc."

For Birth Control "Only on day 7 of this pill, and my chest, back, and face are broken out completely! I have bumps literally everywhere. Little clusters of bumps are popping up, too! My breasts are starting to hurt, and I've had bad menstrual cramps today! I'm also super emotional as well. Cried all evening for no reason and got so mad I thought my chest was going to explode. So mood swings are definitely a side effect. Maybe I'll see some better effects in the next month!"

For Birth Control "I have been on Camrese for 2+ years, and I am very happy with it. I ask for this specific brand every time I refill and won't accept anything else. For me, Camrese has not caused any weight gain, whereas other extended cycle brands did cause weight gain, acne, and constant/heavy breakthrough bleeding. I did have to be patient through the first several months for mild spotting to cease being an issue with Camrese. Understand that extending your cycle from the typical 28 days to nearly 90 days does take time for your body to get used to. As I adjusted to Camrese, if mid-cycle spotting lasted for more than a day or two, I would simply take a week off from the pills and allow myself to have a period before picking back up with the pills again."

For Birth Control "When I first started this medication, the whole first month, I would feel super nauseous and sick. This continued for about a month. I had no spotting at all until the 3rd month. My spotting lasted about 3 weeks until I finished my first 3 months and had my first period. Those would be the only downsides this has given me. The positives, though, are that I have had zero cramps, which is huge considering I used to have horrible ones. It has also cleared up all my acne, and my periods only last about 3 days. I have been on this for about 5 months now, and it is great to me."

For Birth Control "Literally a miracle drug, my first time in a long time not having my extremely horrible period, best month of my life! No spotting, this is my first time using birth control. My acne is non-existent, my breasts are larger, which is a plus for me, and I've lost weight in all the right places! I'm so happy with this product!"

For Birth Control "At first, the Camrese was great. It successfully treated my cramping, mood swings, and acne. The first two cycles, I did experience some spotting, but it decreased and eventually ended. For about another 6-9 months, I experienced nearly no problems with the Camrese. A little over a year from starting the Camrese, I began to get significant spotting (and I would take the pill at the EXACT same time every day). I also began to develop an insatiable appetite that would last a week before my period and a week after I started the new pack. What prompted me to look for other forms of BC was that my mood swings would occur a week before, during, and after my period, to the point where I was overwhelmed with unexplained anger/frustration."

For Birth Control "I’ve only been taking Camrese for a few weeks now (almost a month), and I’ve noticed I’m hungry all the time. I also have had mood swings. I’m just now adjusting and not feeling sad all the time. I also have had some minor cramping, as well as occasional breakouts that fortunately go away within a day or two. However, I haven’t been taking this for very long, so these side effects may go away. Hopefully!"

For Birth Control "Camrese was the first multi-month dose birth control pill I have ever been on, and when I had it, I loved it so much! Now my Walgreens doesn't even carry it, so they forced me to take Ashlyna, which worked for about 1 month. Then I got horrible weight problems, acne out the wazoo, and I have been miserable. My period has been going on since month 2, week 2. I am now on my third week of my period, am severely anemic, and my blood loss is dramatically changing my blood pressure. I have dropped 20 mmHg and am now 105/69. I cannot afford to lose anymore blood, but Walgreens will not fill my Camrese because they only carry Ashlyna and are withholding everything, so I cannot even get any birth control to stop this bloody mess in my pants! NOT ALL PILLS ARE THE SAME! I want my Camrese back so desperately, so I can have something that works!"

For Birth Control "I wouldn't even rate this oral contraceptive as high as 1 out of 10. I was prescribed this by my doctor for birth control as well as issues with P.M.S. This medication is horrible. Upon starting it, my depression was off the charts, I was so irritable that people closest to me asked, 'Why am I so miserable?' I had acne breakouts, which I have not had since the age of 15, so 12 years later and not sexy outbreaks. My sex drive went to zero. Insomnia constantly. When I did get my period, Jesus, heavy flow, fatigue, fever-like feeling/hard time getting out of bed and functioning, and cramps worse than without being on this med. The PMS is horrible. This website won't let me write more. Hair loss as well. 4 periods a month is not worth this med."

For Birth Control "Been on Camrese for about 3 years, after trying 2 other birth control methods. For the first two months, you will have a lot of spotting, but if you push through those two months, it goes away completely. I haven't had any spotting in months and used to have an extremely heavy period. I have endometriosis, and this pill helps a lot. If I forget a day by accident, I will have endo pain the next day almost immediately. I did used to break out the first few months as well, but not anything anymore. No weight gain or any other side effects."

For Birth Control "I went on this because I really liked the sound of only 4 periods a year (mine are miserable & heavy). I didn't have any spotting on the 1st pack. However, on just about every pack since then, I've had anywhere from 1-3 weeks of spotting. Sometimes it's just brown discharge, other times it warrants a tampon. My periods are just as heavy and miserable. I also initially had a massive acne flare-up when I started Camrese. About twice per pack, I'll break out badly on my face - once during my period and about 2-3 weeks after that. I'll be asking for a different brand at my next visit. Been on this for 1 year, but hey, I didn't get pregnant."

For Birth Control "I like Camrese. I used to take Seasonique but changed insurance and now Camrese is free. I had some spotting, but it went away promptly. I never had a lot of spotting, and I never get my period every month off of birth control anyways, probably due to low vitamins and/or low weight. Camrese made me break out with a lot of blackheads on my chin and around my mouth. Non-smoker, 26, had been taking Seasonique since 15, so about 11 years. Camrese makes me feel hungrier. Mood is pretty average, PMS seems a bit more intense. But it's free, and it's keeping me from getting pregnant."

For Birth Control "I have been taking birth control for almost 10 years. After switching insurance companies, I was also forced to switch birth control. I was also placed on the extended cycle birth control to lower the chance of the cysts I just had removed returning. This birth control made me have crazy mood swings and feel very depressed. I rated it 2/10 because, hey, I didn't get pregnant, and I don't feel pain indicating my cysts have returned. I am approaching my 2nd month not taking this, my skin looks worse than it ever has, and I am broken out on my jawline (I would never break out there previously). My mood, however, has resumed to its former chipper self! I would not recommend this birth control to anyone."

For Birth Control "I have had horrible acne since taking this birth control. All over my body, acne. I didn't realize it could be the birth control until I read a bunch of other reviews on it. My boobs hurt all the time!! No sex drive whatsoever! I don't even want my husband to touch me because my boobs hurt so bad. Needless to say, I sympathize with some of the other reviewers on this birth control. I will be talking to my doctor to switch to something else. The only good part about it is not getting my period for 3 months."

For Birth Control "It's been 7 months since I've been on Camrese. At first, I had lots of breakthrough bleeding for almost 5 months, which I knew was going to happen, but I didn't know it would last that long! I was starting to get concerned, but now that it's gone away, I am so relieved. It has also made my face drier, which is a plus for me since I used to have oily skin and break out a lot. I've had no other side effects that I know of, so it's been really great! It's the first birth control I've tried, and I would recommend it!"
