For Birth Control "I was very excited to start this and get a hold of my endometriosis, but as soon as I started this, I started breaking out, gaining weight, couldn’t sleep anymore, my anxiety became so much worse than it had been, bleeding every day, cramping off and on, and headaches. It has made me feel crazy, and I just stopped taking it. I’m praying this goes away fast. I am highly disappointed."

For Birth Control "I've been on this for about three months now. The first month and a half were great. No mood swings, no spotting or headaches, or depression, but then I got into my third month and was experiencing breakthrough bleeding a lot and then had several blood clots. And I am still having spotting. I've been depressed, acne is horrible, I have horrible food cravings, not to mention awful cramps to where I can't even move. I want to continue and try to see if it gets better, but I am just having the worst time with this and am miserable that I am over taking this. I know for some it has worked and maybe if I stick it out it will get better, but I have no interest in continuing with this bc."

For Birth Control "I just wish the bleeding would stop. It's light, but annoying. I took Seasonique before, and I loved the comfort of having only 4 periods a year. I just hope I can make it long enough for this discomfort to end. I'm on my third month, and the bleeding started 3 weeks ago."

For Birth Control "I love Camrese. Before I started taking it, I had a lot of acne. After being on it for a few weeks, my skin cleared up completely. I get a pimple every now and then, but I think it’s from other reasons. My excruciating pains from my periods have significantly decreased. I’ve been on it for about a year now. I haven’t gained any weight, I’m not emotional anymore, libido is the same, BUT... I have one complaint. I’m STILL having breakthrough bleeding! I thought it was just my body being stupid and forcing periods because of my irregular normal periods without the pill, but I’ve read a lot of the same type of complaints. It’s once a month. It's about 7 days of bleeding, (warning, TMI), and it’s not normal blood, it’s dark brown. It’s very, very irritating, and it stresses me out! I specifically got on this pill to stop my periods, and here I am having them still. It’s a huge deal for me, if this wasn’t happening, I would rate this pill 100/10."

For Birth Control "I have only been taking Camrese for 2 weeks, and I have been bleeding ever since. I was told by my doctor to take it the first day of my period, which I did. Now, usually my periods last 3-4 days, very little cramping, if any, and usually moderate to light. Since taking this, I feel like my guts are going to fall out. The first few days, I started having weird cramps in my upper stomach, which felt like contractions when you are going to give birth. Then, when that went away, I would get normal cramping, which I don't really care about, but every other day my bleeding is different. One day the bleeding can be very light and feels like it's going to stop, then later that night or the next, I would be gushing to where I have to wear a tampon and a pad."

For Birth Control "Been taking this for a year, and my body never regulated to it. I spotted through almost the whole pack, every single time. Sexual intercourse became painful for me. This has personally been the worst experience with birth control for me. I thought it would have been nice having a 91-day cycle, but given that I have bled through over 65 days of it, it is just absolutely not worth it."

For Birth Control "I have been on this birth control for two months now. The first month, I had no bleeding. The first day that I started the second month, I started bleeding, and I have been bleeding every single day since. It's freaking miserable!!!"

For Birth Control "I started with this pill to get off the shot, but it is no better. I can't sleep at night, I have the worst headaches. My cycle is never predictable. I can see blood one day and nothing the next. I can have sex one day and still bleed, and that's so embarrassing and disgusting. I hate this pill, it was the worst choice ever."

For Birth Control "I have been on Camrese for 2+ years, and I am very happy with it. I ask for this specific brand every time I refill and won't accept anything else. For me, Camrese has not caused any weight gain, whereas other extended cycle brands did cause weight gain, acne, and constant/heavy breakthrough bleeding. I did have to be patient through the first several months for mild spotting to cease being an issue with Camrese. Understand that extending your cycle from the typical 28 days to nearly 90 days does take time for your body to get used to. As I adjusted to Camrese, if mid-cycle spotting lasted for more than a day or two, I would simply take a week off from the pills and allow myself to have a period before picking back up with the pills again."

For Birth Control "I wanted to try this pill because I was diagnosed with severe anemia. I'm trying to save my hemoglobin, not get rid of it. I didn't bleed for the first 3 weeks, now I can't stop bleeding... huge clots, massive cramps, totally gross, and a continuous headache. I can't sleep, and I crave junk food all the time. I'm almost done with my 3rd month, and I bleed every day. Pregnancy is not an issue in my case, I'm just trying another method in order not to have my period so much. Camrese failed!"

For Birth Control "I got on this due to migraines I would have when I got my period. This medication has been a savior. When I first got on it, I had some problems, I have breakthrough bleeding in the second month that became a full-on period, so I was on my period for two months, but I figured it was my body getting adjusted. I'm on my third three-month pack now. No breakthrough bleeding. My boobs hurt three weeks before I get my period, but other than that, this medication is amazing. I have my sex drive back, no headaches, clear skin, and no weight gain!"

For Birth Control "My doctor prescribed Camrese to lessen my increasing heavy periods (presumably due to perimenopause). I'm at the end of the sixth month taking this drug and have nothing positive to say about it. I've gained 10 pounds in 5 months and am depressed that it's summer and I can't fit in my size 4 clothes anymore. What's worse is that I've had consistent breakthrough bleeding for the last 2 weeks and expecting the 'forced' period next week. (I'm wondering if I should just DEAL with the uber heavy periods - at least they were predictable and only lasted 5-7 days). There was also 5 weeks of spotting during the first 3 months on this pill. Needless to say I'm consulting my ObGyn next week to try something different. This pill's not for me."

For Birth Control "I love the fact of not having a period for 3 months, but there is absolutely NO sex drive during the whole three months of taking the pill except for the first week after your period. I had breakthrough bleeding for about a month, but it stopped after I started the next pack. I have no other side effects, but the whole no sex drive thing kinda sucks."

For Birth Control "I am on the third month of this birth control. Since I have started Camrese, my face remains clear and my breasts grew a bit as well. And I like the idea of having only four periods a year. However, the spotting has been an absolute nightmare. I had no spotting at all up until the end of month two, and the spotting has not stopped since (I am nearing the end of month three). Sometimes it will seem like it has stopped, but then an hour later I will be bleeding again. It is exhausting. I don't know when it will stop, but I hope it will stop soon, or I'll definitely switch pills again. The spotting is the only negative side effect I have had thus far."

For Birth Control "I have never been more exhausted in my life while on this birth control pill. I was diagnosed with endometriosis and have now been on this pill for 2 months. I am still moody, constantly tired, feel the dull pain in my lower stomach, and have had breakthrough bleeding already. The bloating is awful, and my breasts are so swollen and tender that I can't stand to wear a bra. I was on Seasonale before and did not have these side effects whatsoever, so I will hopefully be going back to that now that this pill has completely changed me as a person!"

For Birth Control "I have been taking this medication for a month. No breakthrough bleeding, and my menstrual cycle has been great, but the negative side effects have been miserable. I experienced severe mood swings, depression (and I am usually a happy person), bloating, weight gain, increased appetite, breast tenderness, discomfort and pain in my abdomen, and extreme fatigue. I have been miserable since starting this medication and will discontinue it and try something else."

For Birth Control "I've been on Camrese for about a year now, and it's the best birth control I've had yet. All the others, I bled for months and had super crazy mood swings. The only thing that really sucks about it is that I have no sex drive. But the fact that I only have a period every 3 months makes up for it. Every so often, I'll get some really light bleeding, but it's not even enough to validate wearing a tampon for."

For Birth Control "I hate this birth control. I am now on my 4th pack, which makes a year. The first pack was the brand Amethia, which worked like it was supposed to. Then the pharmacy switched to Camrese, and it has been hell ever since. The first pack of Camrese, I made it through the first 2 months with no period. Then, at the beginning of the 3rd month, I started my period, and I bled the whole month. Picked up the next pack, same thing. I switched from monthly to this because I was tired of having horrible periods, now I have to deal with them for a month. I've gained 20 pounds, migraines non-stop. Don't switch if you don't have to!"

For Birth Control "Camrese was the first multi-month dose birth control pill I have ever been on, and when I had it, I loved it so much! Now my Walgreens doesn't even carry it, so they forced me to take Ashlyna, which worked for about 1 month. Then I got horrible weight problems, acne out the wazoo, and I have been miserable. My period has been going on since month 2, week 2. I am now on my third week of my period, am severely anemic, and my blood loss is dramatically changing my blood pressure. I have dropped 20 mmHg and am now 105/69. I cannot afford to lose anymore blood, but Walgreens will not fill my Camrese because they only carry Ashlyna and are withholding everything, so I cannot even get any birth control to stop this bloody mess in my pants! NOT ALL PILLS ARE THE SAME! I want my Camrese back so desperately, so I can have something that works!"

"I'm 46, and I have been having menopausal symptoms, although I still get my period. My doctor prescribed me Camrese, thinking that regulating my hormones to a consistent level would help, and it would also allow me to have a period every three months, which she considered healthy. The first month was okay, I even lost weight. I'm now into my second month and have been spot bleeding for about 2 to 3 weeks. These last two days, I have been extremely tired, unable to concentrate, work, depressed, and with a migraine that will not go away. I have read that these are symptoms of low estrogen, and I now believe this medication does not have enough estrogen to deal with a perimenopausal condition in which you already have a low estrogen level."

For Birth Control "I'm currently taking this, and the first two entire packs were fine, some minimal spotting that went away within a few days. This 3rd pack was fine until the cycle was supposed to start, I had breakthrough bleeding for 2 weeks. It has finally slowed down but hasn't stopped completely. Other than that, this has worked decently, but I feel there are too many other options for me to suffer like this."

For Birth Control "I'm on this to decrease heavy, painful periods. It was good for the first 2 months, then suddenly I started bleeding like a period. Now going on 7 weeks of everyday spotting, sometimes with clots and severe cramping."

For Birth Control "Taking this pill was an awful experience. Everything was going fine until right around the time that I started the second month of it, and since then, I have had nasty breakthrough bleeding ever since then! (Not to mention the breast soreness, leg cramps, and depression.) I'm finishing the pill this week, and it hasn't gotten any better or worse. So basically, I've had my period for 8 weeks straight."
