For Birth Control "I love Camrese. Before I started taking it, I had a lot of acne. After being on it for a few weeks, my skin cleared up completely. I get a pimple every now and then, but I think it’s from other reasons. My excruciating pains from my periods have significantly decreased. I’ve been on it for about a year now. I haven’t gained any weight, I’m not emotional anymore, libido is the same, BUT... I have one complaint. I’m STILL having breakthrough bleeding! I thought it was just my body being stupid and forcing periods because of my irregular normal periods without the pill, but I’ve read a lot of the same type of complaints. It’s once a month. It's about 7 days of bleeding, (warning, TMI), and it’s not normal blood, it’s dark brown. It’s very, very irritating, and it stresses me out! I specifically got on this pill to stop my periods, and here I am having them still. It’s a huge deal for me, if this wasn’t happening, I would rate this pill 100/10."

For Birth Control "This is the generic version of Seasonique. I had been on Seasonique up until I got pregnant, which was about 6 years. After I gave birth, my doctor put me on Camrese. For the longest time, I thought the terrible side effects were because I gave birth. 2 years later, I am realizing it is Camrese. I have been tired nonstop, depressed, super emotional over the most simple things, have gained 15 pounds that I can't seem to shake, headaches, and my appetite has increased. I would not recommend getting this birth control. I will be switching back to Seasonique tomorrow, it never gave me any problems!"

For Birth Control "I have taken Camrese for 5 years now. The first few months were difficult as my body adjusted to the new hormones. The typical nausea and mood swings. However, by the 6th month of taking it, I was feeling great! I experience no side effects from the pill. My libido is high, weight gain only 5-10 lb difference than pre-pill weight, and my periods are more manageable. So far, 100% pregnancy protection. Because I only have a period 3-4 times a year, my life is so much easier. No more missing work, debilitating cramps, or scheduling around periods for travel days and beach fun. If you do not mind pushing through the first couple of months of hormonal changes (everyone is affected differently), then I highly recommend this brand."

For Birth Control "Only on day 7 of this pill, and my chest, back, and face are broken out completely! I have bumps literally everywhere. Little clusters of bumps are popping up, too! My breasts are starting to hurt, and I've had bad menstrual cramps today! I'm also super emotional as well. Cried all evening for no reason and got so mad I thought my chest was going to explode. So mood swings are definitely a side effect. Maybe I'll see some better effects in the next month!"

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Camrese for over 2 years now, and I love it. I enjoy not getting my period every month. I’ve had a little weight gain, but nothing terrible. Maybe 3-5 pounds. Also, my acne has significantly improved. Boobs are the same size, maybe even smaller (which is most likely from working out). Occasional mood swings, but not as bad as I was before BC. No depression. The only kind of pill I’ve ever taken, and I love it."

For Birth Control "I was not a fan of this pill. It was supposed to be three months non-cyclic, and I still had a period every month, longer than normal. And I would bleed in between. It also made me gain 13 pounds in 6 weeks - while I was counting calories and working out. It was impossible to lose weight on it. It made me super emotional. I was constantly weepy and depressed many days. I don't want to take this one ever again."

For Birth Control "I have been taking this medication for a month. No breakthrough bleeding, and my menstrual cycle has been great, but the negative side effects have been miserable. I experienced severe mood swings, depression (and I am usually a happy person), bloating, weight gain, increased appetite, breast tenderness, discomfort and pain in my abdomen, and extreme fatigue. I have been miserable since starting this medication and will discontinue it and try something else."

For Birth Control "I've been taking this BC for 6 years. There is still spotting, very randomly, and cramping. I get constant mood swings. I take it at night and feel super hungry in the morning, but just eat breakfast and I'm fine. My weight is normal. I would say it works great as it's supposed to, just a few side effects."

For Birth Control "I've been on Camrese for about a year now, and it's the best birth control I've had yet. All the others, I bled for months and had super crazy mood swings. The only thing that really sucks about it is that I have no sex drive. But the fact that I only have a period every 3 months makes up for it. Every so often, I'll get some really light bleeding, but it's not even enough to validate wearing a tampon for."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Camrese for about 9 months, and at first, it was terrible. I got through the first month (out of 3), and then had a period for 2 straight months, constant bleeding. My nurse said it was normal, that my body needed to regulate. So then I finished that packet and got another one (another 3-month packet), and my period was gone consistently till the yellow pills. It was like I almost forgot what a period was even like, lol. I lost 15 lbs with Camrese, which is a plus for me. The only problem with the pill for me is that I’ve had crazy mood swings and some depression and sad periods. I’ve always been a chipper, bubbly person, but this BC has gotten to me. Overall, it does its job and works for me, so I gave it a 7!"

For Birth Control "At first, the Camrese was great. It successfully treated my cramping, mood swings, and acne. The first two cycles, I did experience some spotting, but it decreased and eventually ended. For about another 6-9 months, I experienced nearly no problems with the Camrese. A little over a year from starting the Camrese, I began to get significant spotting (and I would take the pill at the EXACT same time every day). I also began to develop an insatiable appetite that would last a week before my period and a week after I started the new pack. What prompted me to look for other forms of BC was that my mood swings would occur a week before, during, and after my period, to the point where I was overwhelmed with unexplained anger/frustration."

For Birth Control "I’ve only been taking Camrese for a few weeks now (almost a month), and I’ve noticed I’m hungry all the time. I also have had mood swings. I’m just now adjusting and not feeling sad all the time. I also have had some minor cramping, as well as occasional breakouts that fortunately go away within a day or two. However, I haven’t been taking this for very long, so these side effects may go away. Hopefully!"

For Birth Control "I was taking this for three months and will be switching. I've had 'spotting' for about 2.5 months (some days worse than others), and I feel as though I am overly emotional and anxious on it. I'm not sure if it's due to BC, but I also feel as though it's causing my hair to fall out much more rapidly. Giving it a 3 only because I didn't gain weight while taking it, which was a concern for me."

For Birth Control "After 5 months on this birth control, I must say that I really like it. After the first month, I started spotting, but I stopped taking the pills to allow myself to have a period, and I have not spotted ever since. My skin has cleared, I have no PMS, no mood swings, and obviously rarely have periods. Only complaints are my sugar cravings (can't lose weight to save my life). But other than that, I enjoy it. I save so much on feminine hygiene products and book travels with no worries."

For Birth Control "My 20-year-old daughter started taking this to help with her periods. They were very heavy, and the cramping kept her home from work and school 1-2 days per month. She takes the pills every day at the same time. She is on week 5, and for the past week has been very depressed and has mood swings that involve anger. She says on a scale of 1-10 it is a 10. She says in addition she does have breast tenderness. She is sleeping more, and the depression has me worried. No spotting or weight gain. We have called the doctor for advice. God bless."

For Birth Control "I tried Camrese in hopes it would help my PMDD. It did not. Gave it a month and a half, but I spent a month of that ridiculously depressed and dissociating on and off. Mood swings were some of my worst. I could go from fine to sobbing to rage and back in a few minutes. Maybe if I'd hung on longer, my body would have adjusted, but I could not uproot my life to see. Do not recommend if you struggle with mood and/or depression already."

For Birth Control "I've been on this birth control for 3 months now (just got through my first pack), and honestly, I have very little complaints. I haven't gained weight, no spotting, no nausea or dizziness, no change in libido. However, I did notice that I've become much more emotional since I started Camrese. It used to be kind of hard to make me cry, now I will at the drop of a hat, but for me, the pros outweigh the cons majorly."

For Birth Control "I have been taking this pill for almost two weeks, and it has increased my libido times 100, and I am feeling normal again... Not as many mood swings as before and no depression. I have increased G-spot sensation and feel amazing... It will be nice to have my period only 4 times a year. I would recommend this to patients who have had difficulties with frequent UTIs and yeast infections due to the pill. I would never go back to Junel after this."

For Birth Control "I have been taking birth control for almost 10 years. After switching insurance companies, I was also forced to switch birth control. I was also placed on the extended cycle birth control to lower the chance of the cysts I just had removed returning. This birth control made me have crazy mood swings and feel very depressed. I rated it 2/10 because, hey, I didn't get pregnant, and I don't feel pain indicating my cysts have returned. I am approaching my 2nd month not taking this, my skin looks worse than it ever has, and I am broken out on my jawline (I would never break out there previously). My mood, however, has resumed to its former chipper self! I would not recommend this birth control to anyone."

For Birth Control "After having a baby, I was looking for a birth control pill and excited about the fact that I would only get my period every 3 months. After 5 days, however, I had gained weight, felt bloated, had headaches all the time, very low libido, insomnia, and crazy mood swings. Threw the pills in the trash because I couldn’t stand it anymore. I’m sure this brand works for some, but definitely not for me."

For Birth Control "I got on birth control for my horrible cramps and to prevent getting pregnant. I have had mostly ups but some downs using this birth control. You must make sure to take it every day around the same time because it does affect you when you are supposed to get your period. Also, I have major mood swings now, depression, and gained weight with taking this. It does help majorly with my cramps and how much I was bleeding."

For Birth Control "I've been on the Camrese three-month birth control for a total of six months now. The first three-month pack did not go too well, which is why I gave it an eight for a rating. After the first month, I spotted heavily enough to ruin underwear, but not enough to use a pad/tampon, up until month three when it was time for my actual period. I would have specific periods of sadness as well, but no weight gain. But I decided to see if it got any better. It did! My second three-month pack, I did not have any spotting, and there is no weight gain with me or mood swings that I have noticed. I have fallen in love with this birth control."
