For Postmenopausal Symptoms "I have been using the CombiPatch for a week now for menopausal problems. I have had no side effects thus far. I did not have hot flashes, but had night sweats and severe moodiness. I was not a nice person all the time! I also experienced severe anxiety. This patch is very much helping me relax. I coupled the patch with Prozac. I just want to get back to normal!"

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "I am 54 years old and have had no period for about 2 years. My hot flashes were unbearable, also night sweats and trouble sleeping, anxiety - lots of issues. The CombiPatch has helped tremendously and in a short period of time. Feel like I have my life back to enjoy."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "I was diagnosed with sudden early menopause. Severe migraines (worse than I ever had), anxiety and panic attacks, insomnia (barely sleeping), depression, and night sweats. I really started feeling 90% better within a couple of weeks. I’m sleeping. Anxiety is minimal, and I’m sleeping again. Minimal side effects, but I’ve had bloating and bad indigestion."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "I'm 51 years old, in perimenopause, and having terrible night sweats, heart palpitations, vaginal dryness, and anxiety. Was using vaginal estrogen cream with micronized progesterone for certain days each month. That helped with vaginal dryness, but not insomnia caused by night sweats. I just started the 0.5/0.14 patch. It instantly gave me the worst acid reflux, and I take a PPI daily. I mean the worst. I have a hiatal hernia, so GERD is a huge problem. Estrogen just may be off-limits for me since it relaxes the esophagus. I'm going to try to stick it out for a month to see if it gets better. The patch came off the first day, so I bought waterproof Nexcare medical tape to put over it. I hope this patch works for me. The palpitations are scary, and my anger/anxiety is even scarier for people who have to deal with me!!"

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "I have been taking Activella for exactly 2 weeks now. I noticed the hot flushes and night sweats have definitely decreased, but I still feel very emotional and irritable. I haven't had a migraine in over 10 years. In the last 2 weeks, I have had 4 migraines, which make me feel awful, so nauseous and unable to do anything. I don't know if I should continue with the meds and hope the migraines will stop or just stop taking the meds altogether. I feel like the menopause symptoms are mild compared to the migraines. What should I do?"

For Atrophic Vaginitis "I have been on the patch for 4 months after trying to use estrogen cream, which did not work and made the burning and pain worse. I did not want to try anything else in my vaginal area, so I suggested the patch to my doctor. I like that it is transdermal and does not go directly through my liver. I am on the higher progestin dose, but am now experiencing spotting. I had a uterine biopsy that was negative, but still am spotting. My OBGYN is considering changing my HRT, but I have had success with this patch. Burning and pain that I experienced every day were gone in just 1 week. I used a vaginal moisturizer for a week or so to help speed up the process. I no longer use a vaginal moisturizer. The hot flashes I had are gone, and I can sleep all night without waking up, no more night sweats. It's convenient, but the patch leaves a sticky residue you have to scrub off, but well worth the benefits. My insurance did cover this at a $75.00 co-pay, but the coupon online brought it down to $25.00."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "Been taking Activella for 7 months now, no hot flushes, but still got night sweats. I will be stopping tomorrow as have been diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis in my calf today. So gave me worst symptoms, would rather have the hot flushes back. Caution when taking this drug."

For Postmenopausal Symptoms "To anonymous, CombiPatch is expensive when paying out-of-pocket. Check with your insurance. As for effectiveness, it really works for hot flashes and night sweats. I've been using it for the last three years."
