Estradiol / norethindrone for Postmenopausal Symptoms "I was experiencing anxiety attacks, mood swings, strange electrical shocking sensations, and having trouble sleeping more than 2 or 3 hours at a time, even when I was exhausted. This is a pricey fix, but it immediately took care of my symptoms, but I'm having light periods occasionally. If I forget to change the sticker, those symptoms return. I'm on the low dose. I'm so thankful for this drug, while I am not a fan of drugs in general, this has definitely helped my quality of life."

Estradiol / norethindrone for Postmenopausal Symptoms "I have been taking Activella for 4 months now. It immediately alleviated hot flashing and anxiety/nervousness/irritability. However, I think it is beginning to cause headaches. I've also had scalp acne, which started when I was taking a generic form of Activella but seems to be clearing now that I'm taking the actual brand name of the drug. Also, I have noticed I am more emotional (tear up in a second) on this medicine. In the last month or so, I have become increasingly clumsy, dropping things I'm holding. Will update on this in 2 months."

Estradiol / norethindrone for Postmenopausal Symptoms "Started on the CombiPatch a few years ago, and it saved my postmenopausal life. The hot flashes, mood swings, sleepless nights, and everything else came to a halt, and I felt normal again. My big concern is right now they are on back order until October 31st. I only have two left, and we are trying to come up with an interim solution. Why does this company keep running out of the CombiPatch? Not great for your customers."

Estradiol / norethindrone for Postmenopausal Symptoms "I have been taking Activella for exactly 2 weeks now. I noticed the hot flushes and night sweats have definitely decreased, but I still feel very emotional and irritable. I haven't had a migraine in over 10 years. In the last 2 weeks, I have had 4 migraines, which make me feel awful, so nauseous and unable to do anything. I don't know if I should continue with the meds and hope the migraines will stop or just stop taking the meds altogether. I feel like the menopause symptoms are mild compared to the migraines. What should I do?"

"I am 43 years old. I started using the patches a week ago. I haven’t had a period in the past 6 months and have been feeling menopausal symptoms for over a year. My doctor and partner suggested that I try the treatment. They had concerns because of my age. I started bleeding less than 24 hours after my first patch, and my mood is very bad. I can’t hear any noise. I had terrible cramps and bloating. I have always suffered from cramping and heavy bleeding. I truly hope this is just passing bleeding and I won’t have to deal with it."
