Dienogest / estradiol for Birth Control "I’ve been on this birth control for 6 years and am very happy. I had very painful periods that would cause me to vomit from pain before. Now I have absolutely no period on this pill and love it. I skip the placebo pills and haven’t had a period in years. I do not want to have children, so I’m not concerned with any infertility issues. I tried other pills that gave me mood swings, breakouts, and weight gain. This pill actually makes me feel normal - when I’m not on the pill, I feel like my appetite is crazy. This pill helps regulate my appetite, helped clear my skin, and I have no periods at all for years. I’m very happy about all of these effects, and I will continue to only use Natazia."

Dienogest / estradiol for Birth Control "I have been using this pill since September. It is my first time using birth control pills. I am 30 with a beautiful son, and my husband does not want any more kids. I spot most of the month. In October, I spotted the first week and a half. Then I began spotting again the last week. This is too much. I did not like being on my period before the pill, and it was regular then. I have also had a breakout on my face. I did not have acne this bad when I was a teenager. I am not sure if this pill is for me. If things do not change this month, I will have to find another pill to try."

Dienogest / estradiol for Heavy Menstrual Bleeding "I have been on Natazia for 5 months now for very heavy bleeding. My periods would always last about 5 days, but for the past 10 years, I would pass many blood clots. I couldn't wear tampons. I was always worried I would stain my clothes during work or out in public. I just turned 40 and started taking this BC. My periods are now so light and only last 2-3 days. I can now get away with just liners. I still may have slight cramping the day before or on day 1 of the period. I also had some cystic hormonal acne on one jawline, this has cleared completely up after 3-4 months. Also, I feel my rosacea has been under control without having to take my prescribed oral antibiotics and medicated gels, not sure if from BC. I haven't noticed any other side effects."

Dienogest / estradiol for Heavy Menstrual Bleeding "I was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome a few years ago and started taking Natazia for it. Before taking Natazia, I would go about 10 months without a period, then would bleed heavily for a month or so. I would have cramps that would drop me to my knees. It was unbearable. I went a couple of years dealing with this, then finally decided to get myself to the doctor. He prescribed Natazia, and it has been a lifesaver. I've never had regular periods. I've been on so many different kinds of birth control, and this is the only one that has worked for me. Since the first month, I have had regular periods. I finally feel like a normal woman with regular periods. It's kind of nice. The only side effect is the acne. I'll take acne over bleeding heavily for a month any day."

Dienogest / estradiol for Birth Control "I'm 28 years old. I've been on Natazia for over a year now. The first few months were great because the pill really lightened and shortened my periods, which were usually heavy and lasted 8-10 days. However, for the past 3 months, I've had bad acne around my jawline and neck. Now, for the past week and 2 days, I've been spotting within the 2nd and 3rd week before my period! I have one more week left on this, but I am very worried about spotting for over a week!"

Dienogest / estradiol for Heavy Menstrual Bleeding "I was skeptical and uneasy about going on birth control again after bad past experiences with other brands. My doctor prescribed it for me because my natural cycle was way too long, heavy bleeding, and the worst cramps with fevers. Note: you have to stay 3 months on this pill to see how your body really reacts to it. I pretty much had a light period throughout the whole first month. I did not, though, have severe cramps anymore. In this second month, I have been more balanced with the bleeding, and it is coming around normal time and not additional like the month before. Emotions are still unstable-breaking out more too! Greasy face and feeling super gross. If this doesn't change after the third month, I'm switching."

Dienogest / estradiol for Birth Control "I've been taking Natazia for 2 months after being on Yaz for 2 years. I'm having a problem with bloating on this pill. I gained about 5 pounds within the first few weeks of taking it, which I can only attribute to excess fluid retention. I feel so fat on this pill, despite the fact that I work out all the time. I had clear skin while on Yaz, and am now getting acne on my back and my neck. Also, Natazia is supposed to reduce your period, but I have seen no change in mine. I'll be going back to Yaz next month."

Dienogest / estradiol for Birth Control "I have been on a lot of pills, and this one has to be the worst. I never had acne before, and as soon as I started this pill, my face has been broken out. I have gained weight. I am depressed all month and have horrible PMS. But I haven't gotten pregnant, and my period seems to be the same."

For Heavy Menstrual Bleeding "Worked VERY well to decrease pain caused by endometriosis and a large cyst on my ovary. It did not shrink the cyst but kept it from growing. I had a partial hysterectomy, but the endometriosis kept on. Numerous side effects, but maybe worth it considering the effect on pelvic pain? (Haven't decided, am trying something different). Breast tenderness ALL the time, weight gain (20 lbs over a year), some acne, more facial hair (started waxing my upper lip), decreased libido. Will be trying a different class of progestin as I have more time to wait before my next surgery (thanks to COVID, grumble, grumble)."

Dienogest / estradiol for Birth Control "I took Natazia for 4 months after taking Levora/Portia for 2 years. My libido went WAY UP. In the first 2 months, everything was fine, my period was light, my appetite decreased, and I even lost a little weight. However, in the last 2 months, I had bleeding every 2 weeks. I bled on Days 10-15 exactly like a heavy/regular period. I began getting chest and facial acne and headaches (which are not normal for me). So, after 4 months, I had to switch. The increase in libido was awesome, but it is not so awesome to be 'unavailable' for additional days (beyond the period) each month."

Dienogest / estradiol for Birth Control "This is my third form of birth control, I have taken (Loestrin and Femcon previously). Honestly, this is the best pill I have been on so far. Unlike the other pills I have taken, there is no irregular bleeding and no cramps. Natazia has been the best to me, and my periods are now shorter and lighter. The only downfall of this pill is I'm breaking out. I'm 20 years old, and even on the other two pills, acne was never an issue. If I wasn't breaking out from it, Natazia would be a perfect birth control pill for me."

Dienogest / estradiol for Heavy Menstrual Bleeding "I took Natazia after having it prescribed for heavy bleeding. Before starting, I would bleed through a pad every time I went from a seated to standing position and passing painful, tangerine-sized clots. (Sorry for TMI but trying to be helpful.) I suffered with severe anemia after every cycle due to my period having no end date and sometimes lasting weeks to months. The first two weeks on Natazia, I did notice headaches, breakouts, and a 'meh' emotional state, not depressed or anxious, but I just felt nothing, almost like a robot. After my first month, everything was great, I was back to being as joyful and happy as ever, I had a high sex drive, my acne was alright, and I did notice an increase in discharge (I don't really mind it). Periods lasted 2 days every month, ranging from light to simply spotting. I was on it for around 7 months until stopping a few months ago. I did notice after stopping, I had a few weird side effects and blood pressure issues, but those resolved soon."
