For Sinusitis "Side effects: headache, dizziness, and really tired. I have eye pain, no hunger, stomach pain, body chills, and nervousness. I feel like I'm gonna get sick. I'm on my 3rd day of this medication, and my sinus, well my nose, is still stuffy sometimes. Haven't seen a lot of change. I have 3 more days to go, let's see, because amoxicillin didn't work for me :(."

For Gonococcal Infection, Uncomplicated "Okay. I found this website after taking pills. I have a massive anxiety when it comes to medicine, as I had severe allergy reactions. So, I was prescribed 8 x 250 mg to treat gonorrhea. I took each pill every 15 mins, and the last 3 pills I took together. After like 20 mins, I was throwing up with massive pain. I can’t remember the last time I felt so sick. Now I’m writing this while sitting on the toilet with the worst diarrhea in my whole life. It's been 15 mins already. And it’s the second time. So I took it around 4 pm, now it's 9 pm, and I feel like I'm dying. I feel weak, dizzy... but I guess lesson learned the hard way. :) Hopefully, I’m not gonna need to take them again. The experience was the worst I’ve ever had."

For Bronchitis "Had a persistent cough and general chest infection and feeling of unwell. After a week trying to fight it off naturally, I went to the doctor prescribed 3 X 500mg. Infection cleared up fast, but side effects are not great: tiredness, diarrhea, increased anxiety, no appetite, etc. Ask your doctor if you have sensitivity to meds to maybe prescribe something a little less potent."

For Chlamydia Infection "I ate a half mini pizza, and then I took two azithromycin 500 mg at once, as directed. During the first hour, I felt a bit uneasy, but nothing too crazy. After that hour, I got pretty nauseous and then diarrhea. After I used the restroom, I ate the other half of my pizza and drank water. Now I feel fine..."

For Bacterial Infection "Nauseous and my anxiety got really bad. I felt psychotic too. It may be because I have epileptiform activity in my temporal lobe and have a fast brain. I took both azithromycin and doxycycline. Doxycycline gave me anxiety, but not as bad as this one."

For Bronchitis "I took this with a large meal the first night and had some of the worst stomach cramps I’ve ever had in my life, combined with severe diarrhea, bloating, and chills. As soon as the diarrhea and cramping slowed down, the anxiety hit. I had 5 panic attacks the first day I was on this drug and was so terrified of everything I could not leave my room. My heart rate didn’t get below 100 for multiple hours and would spike into the 160’s and 170’s often, even if I wasn’t in the midst of a panic attack. I lost a lot of weight on this medication and my stomach is still not back to normal. I have absolutely no appetite and I’m nauseous all the time and still have cramping and bloating that I’ve never experienced before. This drug also caused severe weakness, dizziness, and vertigo to the point I often needed help walking across the room. Please be careful with this drug."

For Bronchitis "I'm on day 4, feel on and off with Z-Pack. First day, 2 pills, couldn't sleep, coughed my brains out, messed my panties, decided to wear a maxipad, green phlegm. Told myself to hang in, sensitive eyes, and feeling wired. Was so tired, I just wanted to sleep, crying a lot again. Day 3, 1 pill, restless night, heart palpitations, watched TV because I couldn't fall asleep. Cried at everything like tears pouring out of my eyes. I'm obese, and do you think I'm not eating? I'm hungry. I'm on Warfarin, supposed to be compatible with Azith. Beginning to feel the good old 10-day antibiotic regimen is better. Went back to my doctor yesterday and will today also."

For Middle Ear Infections "Have taken a handful of times in my life. I used to get bad sinus infections, that has stopped because I started taking powdered elderberry capsules and a whole food multivitamin daily. This antibiotic is hit or miss. It depends on the severity of your sickness. I have asked for 2 Z-packs in the past when I have had bad sicknesses, and that has worked. I am currently taking it for a (moderate) ear infection, and it is definitely working. However, TAKE A GOOD PROBIOTIC! But wait a few hours after your dose! I take the vaginal care kind because it has a ton of strains and yeast-fighting enzymes. You will probably get diarrhea from these antibiotics. I also can’t sleep and having anxiety and irritability. But sometimes you just have to take one for the team. For anxiety, I take ashwagandha and lemon balm gummies. I have urged my husband (who is prone to pneumonia) to urge the doctor for 2 Z-packs because this one has a tendency to knock it down and not out."
