For ADHD "I have been taking Mydayis 25mg for 2 months, and I have experienced ZERO negative side effects. I was previously prescribed Adderall XR & IR and Vyvanse. Those medications were somewhat effective; however, they came with a lot of side effects (loss of appetite, moodiness, insomnia, heart palpitations, dry mouth, dry skin, and anxiousness). The best thing about Mydayis is the way in which it feels 'natural' and the way it steadily tapers off throughout the day. With previous medications, I could actually feel the effects coming and going and I would get these sensations of feeling 'high.' With Mydayis, I never actually FEEL the medication taking effect, but I can tell a HUGE difference in my performance, mood, and ability to focus. I even feel relaxed, as if my mind can finally make sense of racing thoughts and feelings. I usually take my medication around 8 AM and I am easily able to fall asleep by 11 PM. With Mydayis, My Day Is manageable!"

For ADHD "I have suffered my entire life with ADD. For a while, Adderall helped. Then, as I turned 49, it seemed to make me more anxious, irritable, short-tempered, and I had no patience for stupidity! Upon trying Mydayis, I was immediately impressed. I was finishing projects, getting things done right, and able to focus for longer durations of time-long enough to complete tasks at hand. I feel so much better."

For ADHD "I started on Vyvanse about 10 years ago. Eventually, I was taking 70 mg in the morning and 50 mg in the afternoon. I have a pretty hard time with tolerance issues, which led me to abuse the Vyvanse. This led me to switch to Adderall IR twice daily. Still didn’t fix the problem. I asked my psychiatrist about Mydayis, and I can tell you it has an effect all day (definitely more than Adderall XR and Vyvanse). It gives you a more calming feeling, while Adderall caused anxiety, and I felt I needed Valium. My psychiatrist doesn’t mess around, and since I’ve been taking amphetamines for years, he put me right on the highest dose, 50 mg. So far, so good..."

For ADHD "I was taking Adderall 20 mg twice a day. It made me anxious and almost paranoid at times. I had extreme highs and extreme lows, but I could focus. I have been on Mydayis for a week now, and I do not have the anxiety I had with Adderall, and I am not super hyperfocused and chatty like I was on Adderall. Mydayis feels more natural, if that makes sense. I feel more like myself now, and even my boyfriend said he notices a change. A good change. Also, I had a bit of sexual blah and found it difficult to be 'happy,' and Mydayis gave me my groove back. I can easily fall asleep, but I noticed if I don't lay down and settle, I can stay up. I can definitely fall asleep on it. I like it. I think it depends on the person. I myself don't like feeling like I am bouncing off the walls, and Mydayis doesn't make me feel that way, but I am more organized and productive. Worth a try to see if it works for you. Feels healthier."

For ADHD "I change meds frequently because I build tolerance really fast. Almost every year I switch, and most recently switched from Adderall XR 60 mg + IR 30 mg booster to 62.5 mg Mydayis. I LOVE this medication. It runs in the background, so I feel almost no anxiety anymore- it's not nearly as aggressive. I even stopped needing my anxiety meds. I like to take my pills around 7-7:30, then go back to sleep 'til 9:30 or so. It is perfect timing for my days. And you don't have to eat when you take these, so it's possible to just roll over and go back to sleep 'til it's time for breakfast."

For ADHD "Mydayis 50mg has worked great for me. It did take a week or so for me to notice any real benefits. The first day, I was a bit on edge. Then, I was slightly depressed for about a week. It wasn’t major depression, just a general “down” feeling. After the second week, I have seemed more focused. My energy and motivation seem to be increasing slightly. This drug has a very smooth transition. I don't crash or have periods of high heart rates and anxiety. I was on Adderall 30mg previously. I also have tried Vyvanse and Concerta in the past with poor results."

For ADHD "I started taking Mydayis 25 mg 5 days ago, and I really like it so far. I was on Vyvanse for the last 3 years and eventually built up a tolerance to it. I like how Mydayis doesn't give me that 'nervous, heart-racing' feeling like Adderall and some of the other drugs do. It's not going to give you an intense rush but provides a steady, long-lasting feeling of alertness and focus. It doesn't affect my appetite, sleep, or mood."

For ADHD "I am 32 years old. On ADD meds since 3rd grade. Was on 30 mg XR Adderall in am & 10 mg Adderall at lunch. Doctor recommended Mydayis based off lasting period. He prescribed 25 mg. 1 month in, great, not to mention I was able to fall asleep for the first time in my life without taking a sleep aid. But after 1 month, all hell broke loose. Began to notice an odd feeling of like flat line, not happy, not sad. I then got this odd feeling in my chest about 2 p.m. every day plus anxious. Contacted doc & he said it worked great month 1, so let's bump it down to 12.5 mg. Did nothing, called the doc back & said I wanted bumped back up. I am now on day 3 of taking the 25 mg & I am short of breath & I have almost a hollow feeling in my chest starting at approximately noon. I'm clenching my teeth, feel irritable & anxious. I've tried Ritalin, Concerta, XR Adderall & Adderall. Recommendations for someone that has taken a lot, and none of the other meds mentioned above have worked?"

For ADHD "I have been taking 50 mg of Mydayis for a few months now, and I have been happy with my experience on this medicine. I have been on several regimens, including Vyvanse 70 + Dexedrine 10 booster, Adderall XR + Dexedrine 10 booster, Adderall XR + Adderall 10 booster, Focalin XR, etc., but I decided to give Mydayis a go since my new insurance has it covered on its formulary ($50 a month copay). Like others have said, this drug runs in the background, but I find it much more consistent and way longer acting than Adderall XR and even longer than Vyvanse, which only lasted 6 hours max for me. I take it at 5:30 am and feel the medicine until about 5 pm (~10 hours, give or take). Mydayis is less anxiety-provoking, but I still feel like my ADHD symptoms are controlled around the clock, and yet at the same time, I feel more like myself than I did strung out on the other medicines. If you’re looking for an option that lasts a long while and your insurance will help pay for it, I think it’s a good option."

For ADHD "I take 50 mg of Mydayis in the morning every day. It takes a little bit of time to kick in, but when it does, I can focus and behave like a normally functioning human being. When I was taking Adderall XR twice a day, I could barely get my work done and had a lot of trouble staying on task. I take it with a low dose of clonazepam to help with my anxiety that was there long before I started taking Adderall. Some people don't understand why a person would need medications like this, and I just want to say that it's all about quality of life. I could not thrive without this med."

For ADHD "Not at all what I expected. Have used Vyvanse with success, but went back to Adderall, more flexibility dosing. Can take a second dose during the day if necessary, or not. Mydayis takes an unusually long time to kick in. Have found that I am much more irritable, foggy, and have experienced feelings of being overwhelmed at work doing things that I normally handle day in and day out with no problem. I am, for the most part, easygoing, everything seems to annoy me since I began using Mydayis. Also, have experienced headaches during lag times, body aches, and flu-like symptoms. A lot of the time, I feel worse than I do unmedicated. Do not like Mydayis at all. Will not be refilling."

For ADHD "Switched to this because Vyvanse 70 mg was wearing off too soon (I take my meds around 6 am and it would wear off by 1-2 pm). It's been about 2 weeks now, and I'm depressed, grouchy, and accomplish nothing in the morning until about 10 am when I am almost overly focused. I feel moody, more overwhelmed than normal, and it does not have the calming effect on me like Vyvanse did. I'm going back to Vyvanse for sure and going to ask about an afternoon pill to get me through those last couple of hours of work."

For ADHD "Worst side effects ever. I switched to Mydayis 37.5 mgs once a day after several years of taking Adderall XR 30 mgs twice a day. The first week, I felt disoriented, and every time I went to bed, all my muscles felt VERY sore, especially my legs. It felt like I had run 20 miles, and every time I moved, the soreness woke me up. Then, one night when trying to fall asleep, I heard voices, it was the sound of many people talking, like I was at a very crowded restaurant. After that, I stopped taking this medication for my own safety. I’ve never had side effects with Adderall other than feeling some anxiety when I forget to eat."

For ADHD "10 days into Mydayis. I have no appetite even in the AM before I take the Mydayis, 50 mg. I have to force-feed myself, even ice cream is a struggle after the 3rd bite. After I take it, I feel lost, can't track conversations, no/minimal recall, I can't even prioritize. My production at work is half of what it was when I was on Vyvanse 60 mg. I don't have any motivation. I want to do things, I just can't. All the feelings of being lazy, feeling bad about myself, despair, and no motivation have come back. I feel agitated and feel that I get angry much faster. My anxiety is worse than it was when I was on Vyvanse. I am constantly bouncing 1 or both of my legs and only bounced them a little when I was on Vyvanse. I am calling my Dr. 1st thing in the morning, and I hope that she puts me back on Vyvanse. There is a shortage of Adderall and Vyvanse right now, so I am hoping I can get it. While Mydayis is only about $3 a month, it isn't worth the savings."

For ADHD "I have taken IR Adderall for several years, but the majority of the generics are horrible, and getting name brand was near impossible plus expensive. So I decided to try Mydayis because my insurance offered it as a covered alternative to Adderall. I have taken Mydayis for 6 weeks, and it is awful. I haven’t been myself at all since starting it; I have been depressed, anxious, and agitated. I’ve had zero motivation to do anything. I could take it in the morning, drink a cup of coffee, and an hour later be drowsy enough to fall asleep on the couch. I don’t recommend Mydayis at all, especially if you’re looking for an alternative to name brand Adderall. Even the worst generic Adderall IR is better than Mydayis."

For ADHD "Mydayis was the most effective drug I have ever taken for my ADHD, and it worked too well. It is very good for getting any kind of work done, but the side effects were so insanely negative that I could not handle taking them any longer. I was prescribed Mydayis 25 mg, and I would take it on the weekdays for school and sports to stay focused, but it had really affected my sleep, my appetite, my mental health drastically declined, I could not think rationally, and I was so irritable all of the time. The Mydayis had worsened my depression, anxiety, and would trigger me to pick my eyelashes and eyebrows (trichotillomania). While it had me wanting to do my work and I was finally motivated, I simply could not take the side effects anymore."

For ADHD "I was on Adderall XR 20 mg for years! I was told to try Mydayis 25 mg, and 3 hours after I took it, my heart rate was at 150. It was weird because it dipped fast between 150 all the way down to 50 within seconds! It was awful! My anxiety is still super high from the experience I’ve had today!"

For ADHD "I was on 70 mg Vyvanse for several years, but was constantly complaining that it stopped working by 2 pm every day. So when Mydayis came out, my doctor suggested I try it. It DOES last longer, but that also means constantly being 'on' from the time you take your pill to the time you fall asleep. This led to a non-stop feeling of being overwhelmed and worsened anxiety. I was stuck in a state of exhaustion but never able to rest. I started at 32.5 mg and didn't feel it was helping me concentrate, so I went up to 50 mg and still didn't feel like I was concentrating well. The worst issue I had is a much higher diastolic blood pressure - I'm talking after 4 months on Mydayis, I was 15 points higher than before I started it. Additionally, I started grinding my teeth and clenching my jaw, leading my dentist to comment on some chipping of my teeth from grinding. I'm switching back to Vyvanse. Mydayis is not worth it - be careful what you wish for, I guess!"

For ADHD "I am a nursing student and a pharmacy technician, so I see all the new drugs that hit the market like when this one did. I am up long hours since I have classes in the mornings until the afternoon, then I go to work for at least 7 hours per day after that. I have always had issues with school and ADHD. I finally decided to try medications when I was a freshman in college. I thought this medication would be perfect since it lasts so long. I hated having to take Adderall so many times a day, and I would forget to take them all the time. Once I spoke to my psychiatrist and started the Mydayis, I was sweating on my face so much, and I had some heart palpitations, which triggered my asthma constantly. I didn't even feel a big difference in my focus. I was already on the highest strength, so there was nowhere else to go. We decided to go with Vyvanse, and it's working great. I felt more awake on the medication, but not focused. I still felt squirrely and anxious."

For ADHD "Switched from Concerta to Mydayis for the longer duration mechanism Mydayis offers. Was started on 25 mg of Mydayis. ADD symptoms improved, but I experienced dry mouth, dizziness, heart increase, and appetite decrease, which subsided after the first week. Second week, I felt like the dose was not effective. Doc switched me to 37.5 mg of Mydayis, and so far symptoms of ADD improved, but side effects are rough. Dry mouth, headache, dizziness, lack of appetite, increased anxiety. I’m on day 4 or 5, so hoping the side effects subside when my body adjusts to the higher dose... fingers crossed."

For ADHD "If I could give this medication 11 points, I would. No serious side effects, and I appreciate that it lasts 16 hours with minimal “crash.” When I take it, I take it with valerian root (Valerin) to avoid the anxiety, and at night, I take magnesium for sleep. I like to take a 1-day break (advice from my psych) in order to avoid my body getting used to it and having to then increase the dose. Read how it works (3 different beads), and you will be impressed. I’m lucky that my insurance covers it, so I have a small copay."
